The dan dan noodles were the star of the show but everything was tasty, great portions and quick service for a steady crowd coming and going. The dine in experience is decent with a welcoming atmosphere and ambiance. I would reccomended the Dandan, shrimp & string beans, fried rices & their wontons in spicy garlic sauce read more

Wow!! Consistently good EVERY TIME!! The Orange Chicken and House Chow Mein is my go to. Hubby gets the Chongqing Spicey Fried Chicken and the Shrimp fried rice. Try the the salt and pepper chicken (crunchy) you won't be disappointed. We come here at least twice a month. Portions are large. Can easily be shared. Great price for what you get. read more

Everything about this place is worth the time taken to come & worth every penny spent. The servers, cooks & owner are all always kind & welcoming. I've grown a sweet friendship with the owner just by being a customer & you can tell she truly cares for not only the business but also her customers. If you're looking for a local "hole in the wall" restaurant with flavorful dishes. This is that! read more

Very conscientious staff, expect to wait 15 -20 mins after ordering but thats to be expected when when items ordered are not pre-cooked. It's consistently excellent. read more

Food was so yummy! We ordered 1. general Tso's chicken w side of white rice. It was so flavorful and crispy. Perfect texture 2. Wonton w/ garlic sauce. So yummy w just enough spice 3. Beef udon noodle soup. Comes in a large bowl. The udon noodles are perfectly cooked and it has large chunks of beef. The hearty soup flavor is perfect 4. Spicy wonton soup. My favorite! Comes in a large bowl. Not too spicy, but the broth has a very savory, distinctive flavor and the wontons are delicious! I usually add hot sauce to my soup and I didn't because I didn't want to change the flavor. read more

"We're actually in a Chinese restaurant," were my Hubby's words after sitting down and grabbing the last available table in a busy place. He meant, and I agree, this is a place that serves food Asian families would normally dine on, and not your Americanized style that we are all used to. I got Happy Family Udon, and now udon noodles will be a new obsession for me. Hubs went spicy with their Beef with Rice Noodle soup, and finished every bit of a nice sized bowl. They have dim sum! My daughter is a boa freak, and theirs were fresh, soft and filled with nice chunks of pork. It's good to see this place full of locals. It's different than most other Chinese places around here. read more

I've been here multiple times now and I can say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. There hasn't been a single thing that I've tried that I haven't liked! The Wonton with Garlic sauce is a 10/10 must have. Dan Dan Noodles, xiao long bao soup dumplings, and the sweet and sour chicken are also extremely good I get them almost every time. Other things I've tried include steamed bbq buns, kung pao chicken, bbq pork fried rice, egg drop soup, beef rice noodles, general tso's chicken, broccoli beef, and Mongolian beef. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the steamed shrimp dumplings, they can just use a little more flavor. Service sometimes takes a while but it's only because they are so busy and seem to have a small kitchen, the food is well worth any wait time in my opinion. read more

Food took an hour to come out. Was with a party of 8 everyone got there food at different times or only half of our orders came out at ones. Fried rice supposedly takes an hour! read more

The food is good but the service & timing is so bad. It took 2 hours for all of our food to come out. 30 minutes in between each dish so most of our food was cold by the time the last dish was served.. we actually took the last entree to go because we were done waiting . They literally only had 1 person cooking everything in the back! Not coming back read more

Very good food, we had the Mongolian beef and spicy won ton soup. The waitress said that the beef would take longer. Soup was out fast, beef took 25 plus minutes. Prices were reasonable and portions large. Will go back. read more

In my huimble opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The hostess, Karen, is always welcoming her customers warmly. Her wait staff are very attentive. This restaurant can get busy, and some days, the customer may need to be a little patient as the restaurant gets busy, but the food is always fresh, and the food is absolutely worth any wait. This is a family restaurant and Karen and her husband bring the culinary specialties of their home to the Tri-Cities. Karen is always happy to share suggestions regarding the menu as some items can be spicy. Noodle Thyme is great, I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

I visited a friend in Richland and we were both craving authentic Chinese food. Noodle Thyme hit the spot! The woman working at the restaurant that day was so friendly and had great recommendations. Each table has a tablet so you can go through the menu at your leisure and place your order through their system when you are ready. The restaurant is casual and had plenty of indoor seating. All the food was delicious, but I especially recommend the string beans and spicy beef tendon (which is a cold dish). read more

We sometimes stop in for a quick bite & order a couple of appetizers. Very well presented & good.

The waitress was amazing and friendly. The food was incredible. I loved how cozy it was.

I had been wanting to try this place for a few months, and finally got to try it a few days before my birthday. And oh my goodness!! I found my new favorite restaurant! I ordered far too much because everything looked good, and it was true - every single item was so good. And everyone was so wonderful, me and my family felt very welcome and comfortable. Absolutely can't wait to go back. read more

Decided to try Noodle Thyme for dinner tonight. Food is tasty. Portions are large so we ended up sharing entrees so that we can try both. In my opinion, this is your traditional Chinese restaurant. Pretty straightforward, no surprises, you know what to expect- sometimes that is what you want/need for comfort meals. Service was fast and friendly, did not seem very busy in there. Hopefully they get more traffic since this is a mom and pop shop. read more

The food was authentic, fresh and flavorful. We didn't wait anymore than 10 mins for everything to come out. The owner was very helpful with recommendations and the waitress was attentive. The food was amazing services. Great I went in with my kids and they treated them fantastic super nice people.

Horrible experience, ordered all our food on the iPad and waited over 2 hours for our food!! Each dish came out separately and 20 minutes between each dish!! We ordered fried rice and that was the last thing that came out. The employee 2 girls, one with glasses was extremely rude. When we asked to cancel the fried rice as all the other food we ordered was gone she got an attitude and raised her voice to talk to us from our table from the counter. Very rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!! Not worth the price ! read more

What a great find. Family owned business that serves authentic, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, not oily and fresh food. It was a busy lunch service. Food came out longer than expected but definitely worth the wait. The vegetables were crisp and everything we ordered were beyond expectations. The menu was versatile. They have offerings for both vegetarians and carnivores. The menu wasn't overwhelming. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was clean and organized. The food was made from love and hard work. Quality was beyond words. I can definitely eat here everyday. Highly recommended. We have eaten her two days in a row this week. I can't get enough of their food. Fresh and light is how I describe the food here. read more

Food was amazing! Everything is made fresh when you order so it does come out at a staggered pace... but so worth the wait! The wontons in garlic sauce were 10/10 and the dan dan noodles are the best we have ever had! read more

Super disappointed, I wanted to like this place. I got 3 things. Cream cheese Rangoon's, pork soup dumplings and steak chow main. The Rangoon's came out cold in the middle, and barely filled inside, the soup dumplings were flavorless, and the noodles were wayyyyy too salty. Definitely will not be going again or recommend this place. read more

Ordered a bunch of things... bbq pork was absolutely horrible and a rip off... tasted and looked like the ones from costco. Fried rice was about a 30 minute wait. Shrimp dumpling portions were non existent. Bottle of soda was $3.99... Food sucked.. except for the wontons with garlic sauce. Service sucked... took nearly 40 minutes for fried rice when there was no customers. Would never return... don't know how this place has so many 4 and 5s. Sweet & sour chicken, shrimp dumpling; wonton garlic sauce, house special fried rice. read more

Noodle Thyme is consistently good every single time! We love to stop in and order the steamed bao pork buns. They are fluffy and flavorful. Full of delicious pork meat and brought out fresh in a steamed basket. The garlic wontons are also a favorite of ours. The sauce is so delicious and adds a great flavor to other dishes as well. I like to add it to the rice and mix it in with the cashew chicken. My husband always orders the cashew chicken. It is packed full of toasted cashews, cabbage, onions, chicken, with a light, flavorful sauce. It is not spicy but packs a flavorful punch that can be accented with siracha sauce or the spicy garlic sauce from the wontons. Usually we order the two dim sum and one entree and that is plenty for two people to share. The service is also always fast and friendly here. I like that you can order from the table or you can order up front. The ambiance is casual, and always welcoming. Highly recommend! read more

Food took over an hour to receive which was not worth the wait at all. They weren't even busy. They would only focus on takeout orders. Our last food came after we finished what was left. There was stuff floating around the water cups. They washed their hands in the same sink that they serve for the water. The food tasted absolutely horrible. Panda Express is better than this. People who arrived after were receiving their food before our table. Service was horrible. Will NEVER be back again! read more

Loved the good food and service. The wontons in garlic sauce will bring me back over and over again, seriously drool worthy. We added the garlic sauce from the wontons dish to the chicken fried rice and it was amazing. The generals tsos chicken was very good. The Dan Dan noodles were just okay. They had good flavor but I would have likely them more with added veggies, so that was just a personal preference. Took one star off because I felt like it wasn't very clean, especially in the restroom. I will be back though! read more

I ordered General Tso's Chicken, Shanghai Vegetarian Spring Rolls and Wantons with Garlic Sauce. I had this delicious food delivered by DoorDash. The General Tso's Chicken was delicious, it was prepared just the way I like it. Crispy chicken in a spicy sauce with the fried bird chili's. The spring rolls were good, however, having them delivered made them a bit soggy. Probably better to eat these at the restaurant. The wontons and garlic sauce were delicious. I have not had them before but they had great garlic flavor. This is a spicy dish. Portion size is very appropriate for the price. I have some leftovers to eat for lunch today. Overall I really enjoyed this first try of Noodle Thyme's food. I will need to visit the restaurant in the near future to try something new. read more

My kids loved the fried rice and dumplings. The cheese wontons were fresh but missing the correct sauce to pair it with. The chicken dumplings were great! I wasn't a fan of the sauce it came with but that's more a personal preference. As for the salt and pepper chicken, it was good but I felt like it was missing something. When paired with the cabbage though I was surprised on how well it went together. I'll definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu read more
