At first, i waited for awhile to be seated when there was clearly plenty of tables available but it was that moment i realized the staff are very social And very friendly and was finishing up a conversation with a customer. Looking at the menu one of the members informed me of the best dishes. I wqs happy enough to be able to order lumpia and pancit. Hands down best damn filipino food ever. It brought me bacj when i was i little kid eating all the foods from my Lolo's potluck parties. The next day i went back and ordered the pork adobo. Once again it took me back to when i was a kid sitting up at my Lolo's bar swinging my legs and clearing my plate of food. SERVICE: I've been served food by the owner, as well as by his daughter. I don't know whether it's because they're both invested in the restaurant, but both are very amiable, professional and kind in their approach to serve. It seemed to me that they had a desire to see to it their clientele are pleased by their service, as well as by the food. AMBIANCE: Clean, with a mild and cheerful feel to it. Their sign out front is quite visible, letting you know where and who they are, but in a pleasant way, not garish. Takeout from door dash. Fried boneless milkfish was overcooked tough dry and rubbery. And tasteless. No flavor. Inedible. Gave up eating it because tasted like greasy crunchy cardboard. Charged for more expensive pork lumpia but given chicken lumpia which was bland and tasted no better than Chinese takeout. This is not real lumpia like I've had from Filipino homes. Lumpia tastes distinctively different from Chinese spring rolls every single time I've had it. Maybe their other dishes are better but will never order again. I had the Pork BBQ Skewers and Lumpia Chicken Spring Rolls. While I admit that I live in a food desert, I am a foodie, and I try to find good food when I travel. This was good food! The Spring Rolls were served hot and crispy. They are a bit larger than your thumb and have terrific flavor and texture. I ate two without the sauce- they were that good. The BBQ was amazing- slight spicy heat, good sweetness, but none of the flavors overpowered at all. The pork was crispy, chewy, tender in equal measures. Thirty bucks for such good food was a deal! If you're in the area, stop in! The service was terrific, too! It's in a strip mall, but the inside dining area is open, pleasant, and well lit with the huge windows. If I lived here, I'd make this a regular go to for a quick, delicious dinner! read more

My family and I were thinking of where to eat and stumbled across this place! We were immediately sat down and our server was extremely kind and with it being our first time trying Filipino food, she was a great help! We got the Lumpia Shanghai, Pork Adobo, Lechon Kawali, and Spicy Beef with Stringbeans and Basil! I would've taken a picture if I had remembered... but it was extremely delicious! The adobo was so incredibly tender, and the flavors reminded me of my childhood. I've been coming through Kennewick for both business and pleasure over the past couple of years, and I finally made it in to Dagupan Grill! I stopped in for lunch on my way back to Bellevue from Walla Walla. And I'm so glad I did. They have a pretty substantial menu, but I'm a sucker for beef tapa. So I ordered that and added 2 extra fried eggs. I was transported back to my childhood with the first bite! The beef tapa tasted just like my Dad's, except it just had thinner cuts of meat! And it was a large portion! The only thing that would have made it better is if it was served with garlic fried rice instead of Jasmine rice. I may have to mention that next time I come in... Never a dull moment here to visit Dagupan Grill. We always leave happy and full! Everything made fresh including the halo halo. The owner immediately knew my name and welcomed me back after 2years from our last visit. Our server was ok, he's quiet guy but food was amazing! Chicken adobo was so yummy, my lechon kawalii I destroyed it (ask for the vinegar soooo good) I ordered some vinegar sauce to go also hahahaha. The pancit had amazing flavors! Please please please if y'all craving that authentic filipino food that you must have to have please come see them. Remember they are close at 2:30p and reopen at 5:00p. Living in Idaho we have no filipino restaurants to enjoy, so we had to stop at Dagupan Grill on our way through Washington. Prices seemed kind of high, but after eating here we understood the prices. Walking in we noticed the restaurant was really clean and the decor was nice with colorful paintings of Filipino life on the walls. Service was great. We ordered the pork sinigang and sisig. The bowl of sinigang was large, full of veggies (eggplant, green beans, etc) and savory tender pieces of pork. Delicious and enough to feed 3-4 people. I've been craving sisig for a while, and their sisig satisfied my cravings big time! They ask what level spice you prefer, 1-5...I chose 4. It was spicy enough to make me sweat, but a perfect level to bring out the flavors of the sisig. We finished with turon and ube ice cream, and hit the road fully satisfied, happy, and wishing that this restaurant was closer to home. read more

Ordered delivery because I've been missing Filipino food ever since I left Kitsap County to come to the Tri-Cities. Got the Adobo Chicken and the Lumpia Trio, because these are the basics of any good Filipino restaurant, and was not disappointed. The Adobo was tender and flavorful, the rice was fluffy and the lumpia, all three versions, was as good as any I've ever had. The food tasted amazing, was packaged well so that it arrived hot and there was a lot of it. All of it was high quality. I had to force myself to stop eating because I was full. So good. Who ever thought a gem like this would exist in the middle of relatively smaller cities in WA State. This is probably one of the best Filipino Restaurants that I have been to. Everything here is made fresh. As an elite Yelper who has been to hundreds of restaurants, it has become easy for me to distinguish Freshly made food versus reheats. The pork in the soup was soooo tender you did not need teeth to chew it.. you could cut it with a spoon and have it dissolve in your mouth with rich fatty parts attached to some chunks of meat.
