I ordered through Uber eats and I noted on every item that I wanted extra soy sauce not the regular sauce provided. I even requested extra soy sauce on the utensils request. I ordered two entrees and a couple sides. When I got my order I had 11 duck sauces on only 4 soy sauce. I called the restaurant and was told there was nothing that they would do for me and I had to call Uber eats. Uber eats told me it was the restaurant that had to fix it. The restaurant when I called back said the person who filled the order has been there a long time and doesn't get things wrong and it was basically my problem. I will never order from Sakura again. I used to be a regular but disgruntled customer because of their repetitive slights. I'm over it and not gonna deal with supporting an overall terrible small business. They regularly would leave out utensils. I'd go to the extent to make it a priority with comment or note but they'd still leave it out. That's just cheap!!! The food is substandard. The crab Rangoon was cold and the ratio of their imitation crab to cream cheese was off and on top of that, they'd hardly out any filling into it as well. Soooo cheap. The eggless drop soup was laughable. There's no egg. Maybe one in their entire pot because there's nothing in what they offer as a small. Embarrassing really with how cheap they are. The teriyaki sauce is soooo runny. Completely watered down. They'll mess up your order regularly and on this occasion they shorted me rice on the chicken teriyaki order. Worst sushi I've ever tasted, we threw away both rolls we ordered, and the pad Thai, while generous in portion, was tasteless and the chicken was so dry it was inedible. The food is good , but I went to this restaurant expecting to have a nice time and enjoy the food, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing because of the service. The waitress who attended me was extremely rude from the start. When she took my order, I asked her a few questions about the food to decide better, but she answered in a very harsh, unfriendly tone, as if she was annoyed that I even asked. Checked Facebook for hours of operation (11 am - 9 pm) then decided to have a late lunch to take advantage of the lunch menu (available, according to Facebook, from 11 am to 3 pm). When we arrived there were paper signs with operating hours posted on the door (11 am to 3 pm, and then 4 pm to 9 pm). We arrived at 2:40 pm expecting to be able to have our late lunch. When we walked in to the restaurant, an older Oriental woman came toward us and told us "We're closed. You can come back at 4 pm." We looked at our watches to confirm the current time, and also noticed a few tables occupied by diners. Not a way to attract new customers! We certainly will NOT return. Weird request, I know, but it was my time of the month and a girl's got cravings, soo.... Food was ok. But EGG ROLLS HAVE PEANUTS! Ordered over $120 in food for 2 families. My friends kids are allergic to peanuts and after starting to eat had allergic reactions. We gave them meds and called the restaurant because nothing we ordered had nuts in it. The girl we talked to was great and went to the kitchen to investigate and she said they put peanut sauce in the egg rolls even tho there is no description of what's in the egg rolls or note that they have nuts in them sooooo ya problematic. She was sweet and apologetic. She didn't have the ability to refund or do anything about it. They have no manager to talk to and the boss doesn't speak good English so we couldn't come to a understanding. Also food was way too expensive for the amount we got. The food and service here are so good! I've only tried the Chinese food and pad Thai, not the sushi but I love the food. It's always fresh. The only thing I recommend is that you ask to get your appetizers first as they bring the dishes out as they prepare them and sometimes the appetizers have been last. At this point, I'm just writing reviews as a record for myself of what I've tried here. Picked up takeout today. Sakura is doing a great job with social distancing/sanitizing practices when I went in. I called ahead to order the General Tso's lunch special (comes with soup and pork fried rice), chicken lo mein, and veggie egg rolls. When I got home, I saw they misunderstood and gave me a chicken lo mein lunch special, when I really just wanted a big order of the lo mein. But that's no big deal! At least it was a little cheaper than a regular order. The flavor of the General Tso's was alright, but nothing stellar. I don't know if it needed more sauce, or if the existing sauce needed more tang, or what. I was missing the spicy, tangy, sweet of General Tso's. The breading was already pretty soggy by the time I got it home, which was disappointing. I've eaten about half of it so far, and I will say I haven't gotten any weird pieces of chicken, which is always a fear. The pork fried rice tasted okay, even if it was yellower/more oily than the pork fried rice I'm used to. HOWEVER, when I reheated it only a few hours later for dinner, it did NOT reheat well. I can't pinpoint what tasted off, but I have a lot of the rice leftover and won't be eating any more of it. Because of this, I wouldn't order a lunch special again since you don't get an option for the side, and I don't care for their soup. Lo mein and egg rolls continue to be delicious. The place is spacious and clean, however customer service can be improved. Other than taking our order and delivered our food, server never came by to check on our table and there were only 5 people in the restaurant. We ordered a red dragon roll, string beans, Mongolian beef and fried rice for lunch. The roll had a lot of rice and the tuna seemed to be fresh out of the freezer. String beans were good. We ordered the honey chicken, eggplant, and Peking duck. Eggplant was one of the best I've had. I am not even an eggplant fan normally! The honey chicken was decent, but in retrospect I wish I had ordered something else. There are a lot of unique options, and the honey chicken is inherently generic. Under the Sakura sign it reads: "Chines & Japanese Rest" (see photo). So, sounds like quite a range of food will be covered here & you might have a tranquil meal. The restaurant is located in a fairly new strip mall, and the interior is pretty swanky for Tri-Cities standards. We called in for take out, but dining in here will definitely be something I'll want to do in the future. On to the food! The girlfriend ordered steamed veggies, vegetable tempura (we shared), and rice. I ordered three different rolls. In hindsight, yes this was a major feast, but I can't complain. I'm not an expert at sushi, but I am easy to please when it comes to sushi, and Sakura did a fair job. The tempura was also good. Overall, our food was fairly decent for the Tri-Cities. On a side note, I mentioned this place to a Japanese co-worker, and he talked to his "Japanese network" & visited the restaurant. The comments were mixed from his "network", but he thought they were pretty good. I guess one important marker for a good Japanese restaurant is how they treat their tuna. Thawing frozen tuna is an art, and it sounds like only a few cooks are good at this skill. Sakura did well with their tuna, so they receive kudos for that. read more

If I could give a negative star I would.came for lunch with some friends and the waitress was rude and didn't even try to interact or make it a amazing scratch that even a okay experience. She cut us off while we were mid-ordering and when we asked for straws she literally threw the straws on the table and grunted and walked away.
