Dragged in (again), kicking and screaming, I am in a Chinese diner by the whims of the Wifey and one of the Daughters. The food is fine. Just like a lot of other joints you go to for comfort Asian. I'm on a limited diet at the moment and this shrimp salad was so good! Great flavored shrimp and the tomatoes were on point! A little ranch and hot mustard for the dressing and I'm a happy camper. Could have used a few more toppings, but all in all I'll get this again. Our waitress was so nice also! read more

Meh. The food was kind of boring. To be honest with you, I don't even remember what I ordered. Not a lot of flavor but a lot of food. The service was pretty good though. We had a pretty large group - 10 of us - and the server was working another large group as well but we didn't wait long for any of our food or requests. The ambiance was also a little boring but we were seated in an area specific for larger groups so I guess that explains that. Having two larger groups in that area wasn't a great idea though. It was awfully loud. We had made a reservation so they knew we were coming but I am sure they were doing the best they could with seating. read more

This has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for 25 years. The meals we had have always been consistent and great. We usually get the Family Special and an added order of General Tso's. Fresh and tasty. Their sweet and sour sauce is the best I have had. The owner is so sweet and this is a such a popular place for a reason. Love this place! Clean environment with the best waiters/waitresses and the absolute best Chinese food in the Tri Cities at the best price. Double Dragon is a staple of the Tri Cities--and how dare you if you say otherwise! Food: Clean oil with fried foods, not too heavy on the salt, generous portions, never overcooked--and timely. Love the free soup and tea that other places now charge for. If this place somehow leaves the Tri Cities then I have no other reason for staying here. read more

What a great place to eat. They have the best and most delicious wonton soup I've ever had. It has not only pork wontons but chicken pieces, shrimp, Chinese bbq pork, mushrooms, pea pods, and baby corn. I also had the Mongolian beef and that was superb as well. The beef melted in my mouth, it was so tender. The ambiance was good as well. Great for large groups with lazy Susan's in the middle of the larger tables so you're able to share. The service was great as well. Our server was pleasant and expedient. We will definitely make this our to go to Chinese restaurant from now on!! read more

First time back since the fire. This time around, we thought the food was a little bland. I had the House Special Noodles, not really what I was expecting. The noodles were almost cooked to mush. Everyone deserves to be able to have an off day. read more

We thought we would try it since we hadn't been there since before covid. It was busy so thought that was a good sign. The food was terrible, couldn't take more than a few bites of everything. The server was very nice. There was lots of food for the price so if you just want lots of food than it's your place. read more

Lisa (the owner) is the kindest lady ever. My mom knew her well from working at the bank next door a couple years ago. The food is amazing. I would recommend their almond chicken, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and all of the appetizers. read more

So glad that Double Dragon is open again. I've missed their food. My wife and I visited there yesterday. My wife ordered pork fried rice and pork chow mein. It was great. I ordered the Chefs special, the Barbecue pork and noodles. it was a bowl of spaghetti in hot water with barbecue pork pieces on top. And half a boiled egg . The worst thing I've ever ordered. Bland even after adding soy sauce and sesame seeds. I don't recommend that Chef's special. Still that was my fault. I expected something different. Still I love this place and I'll order things I've had before that were fantastic. The chow mein and chop Suey are great along with the shrimp and sweet and sour pork or chicken and fried rice. I highly doubt this Asian food Restaurant. read more

We've been eating there for decades. Love the spring rolls, veggie fried rice, and Mongolian beef.

Had a nice dinner. Food was fresh and prepared perfectly. We brought our own container s for the take out soup and they were generously filled. Only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is that we wanted to dine in, but only take out was available. read more

When you read the reviews for this place your like, huh, this doesn't seem that bad. But, I'm gonna be completely honest. It's not good. The food is cheap and the portions are large. But the food is not good at all. It looks good when it comes out but it tasted really salty. I couldn't taste anything else but salt and that's all my family could taste as well. read more

Avoid! This place has gone down. They've doubled the pricing so you do need to double check what you're ordering. The food while hot, was very greasy and not very appetizing. My BBQ pork and fried rice was dry and the sweet and sour pork had a off taste. The service is still fine and friendly for the most part. I did hear about the owner trying to sell the restaurant. You can find advertisements online. Maybe thats why they doubled the prices? The lady at the counter also seemed very sketchy. I didn't trust giving her my waitress the tip and after talking to the waitress a bit, I was right. They've had thieft problems and honestly that should be solved easily with the right management, unless the management is taking part in the stealing. We will never go back here. Ever. We were frequent customers but not anymore. This experience was more than awful. We got a dinner plate & added egg rolls. The fried items tasted like they were fried in old oil & the inside of the egg rolls were wet. The beef & veggies were extremely salty. Just not good in any way. We couldn't even finish the plate nor did we take it home. The dinner plate was around $15.80 & the egg rolls were $7.75, which equals $23.55. Tax should be around $2-$3. So how does my total equal $33? An extra plate of chicken & another egg roll that I didn't get was added on. So we were charged for 3 egg rolls & only received 2. When I brought up the issue to the attention of the waitress, she said I told her to do that. All I said to her was I wanted to add the two pork egg rolls from the appetizer section. Not extra chicken or 3 egg rolls, etc. I wasn't rude, I was just trying to have her explain the extra charges. I told her that was incorrect & She began to argue with us, got an attitude & couldn't handle it like an adult. This woman was actually arguing with us, getting loud & the manager made her step back. She still wouldn't stop. Highly unprofessional & just plain ridiculous. They ended up taking $1 off the meal. I was ready to just leave at that point since the waitress wouldn't stop yelling. No customer service whatsoever. Instead of just solving the issue, they lost frequent customers over it.
