Almond chicken with pork fried rice.

I will not be coming back here and you should not come here to begin with. Food was not good you got more hard breading then the protein you pick inside. save your money and go to the panda express down the road.service was not great ladies were rude. ambiance was fine nothing fancy. the only good thing here is the rice.

Best Chinese food in Tri-Cities. We've been coming here for years and even though not a frame on the walls have changed or been updated, the service never disappoints since they know us by name now :) Highly recommend the crab puffs since I have not found any as good as these ANYWHERE in town.

This has been one of my in town favorite spots for years. There had been ups and downs but overall I do enjoy it here

Great food, lots of it and at an affordable price. We each order a meal & have to take half home for later. Excellent value, always fresh.

STILL the best Chinese ever. I have been going to China Cafe ever since I was a little kid. I…read moreremember going with my family at the old location and as I had my own kids - I brought them too. Crab puffs are a HUGE family favorite. We never get just one order.. we always leave with an extra batch to eat later. They have a little bit of a sweeter cream cheese filling that I haven't been able to find anything like anywhere else.. it's very unique. The new China Cafe Express is honestly amazing. The food is just as good as ever. The service is amazing still, same sweet waitresses as the old location.. food is still well priced. Did not feel like express at all as we sat at a nice table. The restaurant was very clean. Lek has been there since I was a kid, she's always been so kind to my family everytime we've been in as well as the very sweet other waitress who we've seen often too!! Some suggestions from my husband and kids after eating there tonight: Mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, number 4 dinner combo, definitely crab puffs & hot and sour soup.

Well I haven't eaten out in a long time or had Chinese food so I did a Google search & ended up…read moreordering the Moo Goo Gai Pan with chicken based on the photo that was displayed on their website. We stopped through here for dinner on our way from salt lake to portland. Susie was there when we…read morearrived and held the door for all of us. We had a group of 7 and she seated us immediately. We got the appetizer platter and some extra orders of spring rolls and crab rangoons. The crab puffs were obviously homemade and so recently fried that i had to wait a few seconds to let them cool. They were the perfect crunchy creamy combination and went very well with the sesame dipping sauce they came with. The spring rolls were also fantastic, thick rolls stiffed with cabbage and meat with curry spices. We also got a round of egg flower soup and tea for the table. The tea was some of the best jasmine tea i've had and was perfect to bump up the caffeine levels to continue our drive. For dinner we got the sautéed broccoli, kung pow chicken, beef chow mein, Szechuan shrimp, salt pepper squid and rice for the table. I'm not a huge fan of kung pow chicken usually because it doesn't have many veggies, but this was amazing. In with the chicken there were peppers, onions, corn, mushrooms, and peanuts! The sauce was spicy and super flavorful. This was by far my favorite dish. The Szechuan shrimp was sweet and tangy and the shrimp were coated in a shell of breading that was miraculously still crunchy while also soaking up the sauce to make the perfect bite. The broccoli was the simplest dish, but even though it was just steamed broccoli it had a wonderful umami rich sauce that highlighted the perfectly cooked vegetable. The salt and pepper squid was perfectly fried and crispy and super tender. It also came with a selection of blackened peppers and onions that went really well with the squid bites. The beef chow mein had perfectly tender beef bites with onions peppers and bean sprouts. The bean sprouts were well cooked and yet nice and crunchy. I couldn't find any noodles in the dish but the bean sprouts did the same job and I think the dish was better without. So good. This restaurant, aside from the food, was really clean and well run. Susie was very nice, and when we had finished eating we got to talk to her a little about how she had just opened and how she had moved out here from portland. I will be back to pendleton in a few weeks for the round up, and you can bet 100% that you can find me at Susie's!!!!

The service is great. All the help is friendly and polite. But the Chinese food is average at best…read more Sesame Chicken was not tender, a bit hard to chew. I hate to be negative as I really wanted to like this place.

Regardless, their Chin-Amer fare is absolutely fantastic, and we were RVing close by, so this was the (her) choice. One look at their fried proteins will tell the tale. Those were hand-made on the spot, Cochise. Yang Tze Pork had great char sui flavor, and sides were robust and delicious. We ordered from their 'family style' menu, and for $17 per, it was a heckuva lot of food. Wifey kept trying to order some other items, and I had to tell her we were already gonna get pounded with the amount of food we had comin'. The leftovers in my fridge will testify to that little factoid. This small town in the middle of nowhere is quite fortunate to have this family to order from...

Without a doubt the best Teriyaki chicken I've ever eaten, made in the original Chinese tradition…read more How odd to find this in Connell WA, a small agricultural town (pop. 5,400) that's easily 25 miles from anywhere else, in Eastern Washington. It was Saturday and the lunch buffet was $10.95. The buffet had only six items, which made me snicker. But I'm eating Keto style, so only took 3 items... teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables, and deep fried chicken meatballs. Oh my God, was I surprised with the flavor of this pairing. We've all had Chicken Teriyaki, right? (...char-grilled chicken strips on steamed rice with sauce-outa-the-squirt-bottle. Right?). Well forget that! This was chicken sauteed in a mild-sweet-soy (full of meat drippings, like gravy! It was fabulous! Man, I'm going home to re-engineer that recipe! I love it when you discover some new food-approach that no-one's doing anywhere. This was that moment. And with the medley of steamed vegetables and iced tea...wow, just wow! To the guy from "Nordakota" er "Sowdakota", what are you thinkin?!?! The food at Mei-Ling is delicious, and apparently everyone in town thinks so too! Look at the pictures!
