Fresh salads can be customized. The kiosk is awesome because you see all ingredients and add to or subtract ingredients. Delicious soups as well. My favorite item has to be the Kitchen Sink Cookie! It is sweet with a hint of salty on top. My only complaint is that there have been a few times they were out of baguette bread that would normally be a side choice. read more

Maybe I was expecting more. This was very middle of the road for me. I didnt dislike it but i thought I would be way more wowed after hearing so many people talk about how much they loved it. I went through the drive thru and went to order a you pick pick 2 with the new turkey chili and a salad however before I could even finish asking for the chili the man taking my order yelled over me "FIRST OF ALL WE DONT EVEN HAVE---oh". Tri-cities really needed this place! Went today and had an awesome experience! Computers were easily accessible. Ordered on the computer...everything went smooth. I loved that I could modify my selections easily. Ordered the Cobb Salad (it was huge and delicious!) Came with chips. My mom ordered a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup (which was some of the best we have ever had) and the Mediterranean Salad. She loved both! Had a baguette with one and chips with the other. It was a ton of Food! Also got out free cookie....yum! The soup was so good, that we went and ordered 3 bowls to go. They all came with a side. Ordered from a cashier this time and it was a pleasant experience. Very friendly workers. They brought us our food...very prompt. People asked to clean up our dishes for us and even brought me a to-go box when asked. Awesome customer service!! We will be back a lot more often. Great job Panera!!! :) read more

Extremely disappointed 7/19/19 ordered Cheddar broccoli soup and so did my mother in law she got the last bowl my wife ended up with nothing for dinner as this is the only thing on the menu she eats. My mother in law was ordered bread with soup she received chips and thankfully substituted with on other type of bread. If they are going to run out of things they might as well close early or not let you order from the menu so you can take your business elsewhere. Disappointed and upset! Stopped into this location yesterday to order and take out food for a late lunch. First of all, I would like to state that the young lady who took my order was outstanding. She was attentive, professional, and really nice. However, I can not say the same about our food order. My wife's Napa chicken salad sandwich was absolutely disgusting. It wasn't chicken salad at all. It was a couple of slices of chicken throw on the bread with some lettuce. I'm no expert, but I know what chicken salad looks like, and this wasn't it. I tried one of the new panni sandwiches, the pepperoni and mozzarella melt. Great flavor, but no substance. It was smeared with some sauce, but hardly no pepperoni or cheese. For $11 bucks each, you would expect more. The worst part was that I also ordered some soup that came with a side of bread. As I was waiting near the order counter for my order, the person putting my order together realized he had forgotten my side of bread that comes with the soup. He reached into a bin with ungloved hands, ripped off a piece from a loaf, and threw it in the order bag. Didn't even wrap it or anything. Disgusting, needless to say, that went right into the trash. I don't think I will ever frequent this establishment again. $38 wasted. read more

I love Panera, but this location isn't great. I held off a poor review because things happen and they are always apologetic, but this location NEVER has all the basic menu items and I've never gone through the drive-thru when they've correctly given us our order. It's become a joke with my husband about whose food they'll forget this time. We check our bag in the window and ALWAYS end up missing something. I travel a lot for work and eat at a Panera Bread for breakfast 5 out of 7 days. For some reason this Panera can not have tea ready. 2 weeks ago 3 out of the 5 days the unsweetened tea was not ready. What I love at this Panera Bread is their tomato soup, wild rice and chicken soup, Mac n' cheese w/bacon, or plain, tuna sandwich, the new caprese sandwich, the steak and arugula for my fur babies( they love it too and even eat all the arugula), the bbq chicken flatbread, the veggie sandwich, grilled cheese, the spinach and artichoke soufflé, the brownie, the sourdough loaf and the cinnamon raisin swirl loaf, although I wish, wish, wish they'd make one sans raisins, would save me the time from having to pick them out. And. I love, love the goddess salad. I also like their hot mocha and espresso. I like the occasional cinnamon roll and croissant, sometimes the chocolate chip muffie. I also like their chips. I like the milk brand they have. I also like and appreciate that most times I get an efficient order taker in drive-thru. What I don't like about this Panera Bread is this... 1) missing items and all too often!!! I shouldn't have to check their job! Today they 'forgot' to pack my soup! Before, and usually with each visit, something is missing, from chips, to the baguette, to cream cheese,and I've yet to ever get the advertised croutons on my tomato soup. I let these slide because I see them as little items I can go without. But today they forgot a bowl of soup and almost forgot the coffee and milk, luckily I noticed that because they usually hand those items hand to hand , not in a bag. By the time I got home and notice the missing soup, I'm not about to turn around and go back, lunch is ruined, besides, I'm in another town, so that would require a 30 minute drive back. Plus, why should I be put in such a situation to begin with, just pay attention and do the job correctly. 2) Sandwiches thrown together and you end up with a glob of mess, with the bbq flatbread being the worst mess of all. Panera Bread isn't the cheapest guys on the block, so I expect a decent sandwich, meaning, stop being so stingy with the fillings. The tuna always comes with what looks like a teaspoon of tuna just dropped in the middle of the bread. 3) Why do they need to add extra salt to everything? There's already enough salt cooked/mixed into the food. It should be a question they ask upon ordering, same as when they ask if you want cream and sugar with your coffee. 4) I don't like how they throw the baguettes on top of everything else , not even in a sleeve, it's just tossed in with the utensils, bag of chips unprotected. Not very sanitary. 5) On their recorded phone message they should flat out say, "if you call between 1130 a.m - 130 p.m, forget about it, because we won't even attempt to answer your call". I tried reaching them from 1-130p regarding my soup and it just rang and rang until it cut me off. When I finally got thru a manger couldn't even be bothered by me. Even though the recorded message says you'll be able to talk to a manager. Nope. I did not appreciate that. Lastly, what I couldn't stand from the menu thus far is the Baja Mac n' Cheese. I can't stand cilantro period. So I ordered a plain Mac n cheese and get home to find the Baja, took a taste, had to trash it. Another waste. Bottomline is I've been cheated quite a bit by this Panera Bread, but it's the only one in my surrounding area. But that shouldn't matter, no establishment who wants our business should be cheating us. Stop forgetting my items, items I paid for !! Stop giving items I didn't ask for, again cheated out of something I wanted and would've eaten and not had to throw away. Suggestions: Make sure your employees understand the entire menu. Have your employees double check their packing, this way no one gets cheated. Stop being so greedy with the sandwich fillings, or, lower your prices. Add boiled eggs to the menu. Maybe consider asking if people want pickles with their sandwiches, because I don't but forget to say, so there goes a wasted item. Consider offering the adults something other than a bag of chips. Like a small bag of nuts or seeds, or something healthier than chips. I visit this Panera Bread once a week since it opened it's doors. I spend between 35-60 dollars, depending on how many days worth of food I decide to get, plus I always give the drive-thru a 5.oo tip. I think this qualifies me as a loyal customer and obviously a fan. I'm not here to bad mouth Panera Bread, I just hope to see improvements from a good customer so we all benefit. read more

The summer corn chowder is delicious and the southwest chili lime ranch salad is divine! We love the big loaf of country white bread and we would buy it all the time if it weren't so pricey. I agree with a lot of the other reviews, this location messes up your order more often than not, leaving items out, getting the order wrong etc...but if you ask for a manager and let them know, they almost always make it right with a free meal for your next visit or a free pastry depending on what the error was. You always have to check your drive thru order before you drive away because it will be wrong or incomplete. But the food? Delicious!!!! Panera, please make a store in Kennewick! read more

Ordered a to go order from inside the store. Drove 20 min home to find they didn't fill the order correctly. This was the second try with this location. The first try my wife had to bake her sandwich at home and add extra vegetables on it because it was so bare. I ordered a Steak & Arugula sandwich, when it was delivered to the table, I had to inspect the sandwich to see if there was actually any meat in the sandwich, because it looked like empty air. There was TWO small chunks of steak in there. I ate my sandwich and it was nothing spectacular, nothing to brag about, pretty boring actually. I tried a sip of my friends chili after he complained about how terrible it was, and again it was nothing spectacular and actually below the level of boring. The bread they gave him to dip in the chili was so tough he couldn't even rip it apart. My other friend actually enjoyed her food somewhat. When we left the restaurant we got in the car, I sat down and immediately had to throw up. (Thankfully outside of the car) we all got back to the house and all 3 of us immediately had to take a crap and all of our insides were destroyed. read more

I love Panera and have waited patiently for months for this location to open...but the waiting continues...in line! On more than one occasion have been in and like others on here found only one person at one of the four registers, and a line literally out the door. Watched people come, then turn around and leave. The staff is friendly and helpful, but one staff to take orders, ring up AND fetch pastries, including slicing bagels is CRAZY. I'm hoping they are still working out the bugs, but frankly it's just poor customer service. I'm afraid they aren't going to be around long with this kind of service. read more

This place is very poorly run. We got two salads and two smoothies.. starting things off the girl made it so complicated when we were ordering through the drive through and confused us then forgot the order so we had to go over it again, we paid $35+ for two salads and two small smoothies (Starbucks small size). Then we were asked to pull out front because it was taking longer, we sat out front for about 5 min when we finally got our food and we drove 20 min home and there was no Chile lime salad dressing. Super frustrating and we couldn't even eat one of the salads. Pretty much wasting money. We tried to call and they never answered the phones. We called again same thing. I ordered a you pick two with Mac and cheese and a ceaser salad and was so incredibly dissatisfied with the amount of dressing I received. Absolutely despicable. Only got about 2 bites with any dressing. I am distraught. We tried Panera for the first time in Seattle, and although it was a disappointing experience I was looking forward to seeing if the new build in Richland would be better. Marginally it was, but not by much. The bread is nicely fresh, but the sandwich portions are small for what they charge and flavors are nothing to shout about. The soda fountain syrup ratio was calibrated wrong, and was the worst Pepsi could be. It's nice they deliver your order to your table, but would be great if they remembered it all and we didn't need to get up to ask for the rest. The only thing I would consider recommending here is the broccoli cheese soup - it's pretty tasty and was the only non-disappointing part of both visits to this chain. read more

It's a nice facility and has a fine amount of seating, but that was the worst Caesar salad I've ever had. Very bland, tasted like vinegar. And the croutons were basically burnt bread.
