My daughter and I have visited Panera repeatedly. And I keep hoping they will correct their mistakes. I personally have always had my orders turn out well. When it comes to my daughter who due to allergies can not have cheese. She always orders the bbq chicken flatbread without cheese. Yet consistently every time it comes out with cheese, or with cheese and no spinach. It started getting really annoying, we are quite specific. We will not be revisiting Panera. I am tired of bringing her order back and waiting for them to fix it, I am so over it. It is not that hard to take down dictation of an order, yet, they seem to mess it up every time. read more

Just from the commercials, I always expect fresh, clean food from Panera Bread. Food aside, the couple times I've come here, the service is dreadful. Managers yelling at staff and cashiers who don't fully listen to your order. I came in around 7:30PM for a cold drink and to get my free pastry through Panera Member rewards. The process to relay my order and receive it was unnecessarily challenging, to say the least. Thankfully, when I finally received both items, the food was refreshing and flavorful per usual. Panera at The Landing is just awesome. I go there for pastry mostly, but their soups are great too. I get a weeks worth, cut it into halves and have it at home so I don't make a daily run for breakfast. Pastries stay fresh in fridge. Nice ambiance at this location with wall mounted fireplace. I decided to go to Panera for my getting out of the house to somewhere with internet needs today. I am a member of their little plastic key card club but I haven't visited in several years. I remember being completely enamoured of their breakfast soufflés but it is a bit late in the day for that. I got a Dr Pepper because I am a heathen and their Mac and cheese because I am vegetarian and love cheese. The bread that came with my large order was warm and nicely crusty and the main meal is deliciously cheesy with little shell pasta. Free refills on the drink. My wife and I stopped in before a movie (at 8:20pm) to get a quick bite to eat. While ordering the girl at the register said "just so you're aware we close at 9". First of all this is rude and very unprofessional. You work at a restaurant. This is a place of leisure for customers. In now way should you rush me or anyone else, we pay your paycheck. Second of all, as a veteran of the industry I know that if someone is going to eat at your establishment they can take a few minutes past close to finish. Third thing, it's 40 minutes until you close, calm down. I'm sure the people at you're corporate office would hate to hear you are trying to curb business because you are lazy and not dedicated. If you want to leave at the exact time of closing you are in the wrong industry. Then we get our food and it is not even what we ordered. I am so disappointed in this place. After looking at the advertised bowl on the website, I have to change my review to "deceptive advertising." What I received was not 1/10th what was shown on website picture, but it was what I expected. Ordered the vegan lentil quinoa bowl with broth. But it was 95% broth with a touch of lentils and quinoa and some kale. The term "bowl" implies something of substance and not just broth. The broth was fine but certainly not worth​ $10. And just a medium sized bowl at that. Very disappointing compared to previous experience at this location and other Paneras. And typically someone will walk around to ask "how is everything?" I think Panera Bread at the Landing in Renton rocks. The food is almost always good and quick and the staff is friendly. The hot foods are hot and what is supposed to be cold is cold and fresh. Probably the only thing I have received that wasn't quite up to par was the cobb salad. Cobb salads at other restaurants have a lot of extra stuff other than the lettuce and this has very little. The other salads, soups and sandwiches I've had were excellent. There loyalty card is well worth it if you eat there frequently. I usually get a free drink, pastry or something else about every 5-6 weeks. They also hand out free samples of smoothies, brownies, etc from time to time. I eat there at least once a week. read more

I ordered a sugar free Carmel latte 20 oz breve The kid at the register didn't know how to ring it up. I was in a rush to get back to work a young woman went to go make it and she didn't know how to sew she asked someone else to do it he end up making one with regular sugar and it was a very small latte not the correct size and not breve. I ask him specifically if they had sugar free and they said yes and today the guy that made it told me know they do not have any sugar free. I love Panera Bread but I've only been to the one in tukwila and north gate mall. When I went the service was good but I realize that I went on a busy time, lunch time. I had my food to go. So I waited for about ten minutes and then I got my food, I looked inside and glanced and 'thought' everything was in there but was not sure since it was in a small bag. I order a sandwich, salad, soup, and grill cheese sandwich. So once I got to work, I realized my sandwich was missing! I didn't have time to go back and get it so I called and told them I forgot it. The lady I spoke to was nice and apologize and stated that I was going to get a $10 voucher in the mail for the next time I come in. It's been about two weeks and I still haven't receive anything! It's another Panera, just like other Paneras....however...The cashier was nice and helpful, but the older guy who delivered the food to our table was awful. He slammed the plates down and left without so much as an "enjoy your meal." By far the worst Panera employee I have ever encountered. This location is in the heart of The Landing in Renton. There is street parking or the lot behind the restaurant that can fill up just as quickly as the street parking during prime time. I appreciate that they offer online ordering and rapid pick up. Just place and pay online and then pick up your order at the counter. Your order will have your receipt taped to it with your name on it. Most people talk about how their prices are high. Lets be real. Panera Bread is pretty pricey for what you get, but you do consume much better meats and produce. To stretch my opinion, I do agree that the price could be adjusted a bit less, or at least make it a combo and come with a drink. Usually, the pick two option is an estimated $10. You get to choose from a half sandwich, a cup of soup, or a half salad. It also comes with your choice of chips, an apple, or bread. I've learned that when you dine in, you get more food rather than ordering to go. A gentleman by the name of Stew helped me out at the counter and helped me redeem a free birthday pastry that I had on my rewards. Don't forget to sign up for that if you haven't already. You receive freebies here and there or discounts. There is plenty of seating available inside, and limited patio seating outside when it's a nice day out. read more

There's a variety of different hot and cold meals that you can get from this place. They bake all of their breads and pastries in store which I think is pretty cool as well. My favorite thing to get here is the cheddar broccoli soup the Asian salad or even the tomato mozzarella Panini. It can get a little pricey but it's worth it! Update 4/19/2017 I came in to order my usual "pick 2" meal and bagels for the week. One particular part of the transaction I wish would have went differently was that when the order was complete if the cashier would verify the order instead of walking away and then tell the manager "I don't know why she's still standing there?" I ordered a Frontega chicken panini sandwich to go today. As I drove away, I took a bite of my sandwich and for some reason I checked the chicken just before I took my next bite. I noticed a different color and thought it was the sauce that made it that color. Then I pulled off that chicken and I put my fingers in it to notice it was cold and raw. Today, they haphazardly through brownish chunks of avocado, and half an uncut boiled egg. The lemonade was not sweet at all, and I don't even like overly sweet drinks, but this was lacking lemon flavor. I was reallllly looking forward to my meal today as im usually satisfied, but today was a huge let down... Lastly, every single table was so dirty, the seats, floors, everything was dirty. They also served my salad without a fork. And their wifi connection sucks! I also noticed, that they have hired a lot of special needs people to work here as well. Always been a fan of Panera. Love their pastries, good sandwiches, soup, etc. I like lunch here because I can get a bowl of of soup which comes with a nice roll. However management is cutting corners. When I recently visited this location I noticed that there was no butter at the condiment stand. The wait person informed us that you now have to request butter. Sorry Panera but if you want to be McDonalds you need to lower your prices. Panera is a tasty place, I like their bread (obviously) but their sandwiches aren't the best. I usually stick with the salads, if I get a full size it serves as lunch for two days and it isn't completely overpriced. My favorite is the bbq chicken chopped salad and I'm also a tortilla soup fan as well. Its always clean here and they're super fast with their service. read more

This is the best location I have ever been to.. It's exactly what the landing needed and I come here quite a bit.. I have never had bad service and all the employees seem to work very well together as a team.. Refreshing! Anyway, their breakfast soufflés are my most favorite item they have to offer.. In a shopping center full of big box retailers and fried food emporiums, Panera Bread is a nice oasis for the diet-conscious luncher. Unless, of course, you count the delicious-looking baked treats at the front counter that would tempt even the most diligent of calorie counters. (For the record, their chocolate chip cookie is freaking delicious.) I've only been to this location a couple of times, but each visit has been good. I'm a fan of their You Pick Two deal; their Black Bean Soup is low-cal but super filling, and their BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad is always good. I find that I have to specify that they make my salad easy on the dressing, otherwise it'll arrive drowning. So be forewarned if you're not huge on covering your greens in ranch. read more

I did an online order with their rapid pickup. Found the bag with my name it and headed back to work. Inside was the salad I ordered, but not the cookie. So I looked at the receipt to see if I just forgot it and on the receipt it had a little circle and someone wrote "see cashier". Frustrating. Even if I had seen the note at the Panera, it still defeats the point of the rapid pickup if you have to get in line for the register. The salad was good, thus the 3 stars. read more
