**COVID-19 Edition** I needed out. I was hungry and had stared at the same four walls for over two weeks so I had to get out. I walked through The Landing to Jimmy Johns passing a number of closed stores with any variation of why they were closed and no people to reach Jimmy Johns. A delivery driver sat outside waiting for an order. I looked at the sign out on their door which explained that they had markings on the floor to ensure social distancing. If, upon opening the door, a person were to find a person on each of the markings the new person was asked to step outside and wait to be called in. Quite efficient! As there was no one else I went in and ordered a delicious roast beef sub. The employees were friendly and attentive noting the closures and the oddness of the current environment. The smell of the fresh baked bread makes me subconsciously lick my lips like LL Cool J. I am a Turkey Tom fan and haven't tried anything else. So I love Jimmy John's. I've eaten at this one and the one in Kent near Meeker and both are great. What really impressed me today was we had a group BBQ at Coulon Park for work with ~175 people and had ordered catering (box lunches). The provider of the box lunches never put the order in and we had 175 people at the park, with no food. The coordinator called Jimmy John's at the Landing and asked them if they could do 175 sandwiches fast. They said they could do it in about an hour and had to go get more bread as they only had bread for 75 sandwiches. They didn't balk at the order at all. In the end, they delivered them in batches of 50 (with the first set coming ~20-30 minutes after the call) and everyone was eating w/in the hour and that included time to go get more bread.
