I don't come out here a whole lot yet been coming recently for some meetings. This place is definitely popular and has its frequent visitors. We found that the ability to sit down, do some work utilizing their wifi and outlets to keep our laptops was helpful, not to mention grab a bite as well. As much as I was hoping for breakfast, I came right when they switched to lunch. I went for the Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt, Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup, & Caffe Latte. The sandwich was pretty good and filling, so I had some of the soup but couldn't get through most of it. I heard that the water didn't taste clean so heads up if you need some water to go with your meal yet she found the sandwich to be pretty good and her broccoli cheddar soup had a bit more cheese than she was hoping for. One of the girls at the front counter is super sweet & tends to find me to give me coffee; the counter where they prep the food also has a screen with the approximate wait time of your order with your name on it which was helpful & something I hadn't seen before. read more

That is all it has going on for it. Upon entering are a few self-service kiosks where people can put their orders in while the employees are tucked away in the back. The kiosks - basically pads that your phone can replicate the functionality - give no indication of what is in stock or not. Order away! Then when you find out that the items you ordered is out of stock they cannot refund immediately nor provide any proof that they will refund said money. Refunds take 24 hours as the employees cowered behind inarticulate other employees. Yea, not impressed. I have seen better service and more accurate numbers from a roadside fruit stand. The ingredients blended well, the toasted focaccia bread was slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chipotle sauce was on point. I'm sitting in Panera as I write. Even though I live nearby, for 3 years haven't come in. I didn't realize until today they have extensive seating. It's very pleasant, light filled with plenty of room. The coffee (brewed dark roast) was quite good. The great disappointment was in the pastry. They don't have a huge selection. I chose a chocolate croissant, a favorite (best I've had is at Columbia City bakery). I don't think it was fresh; it had the texture and feel of a refrigerated product. I used to come here often when they had just opened a few years back, service used to be good, not any more, they not only don't greet customers, but they don't even say hello after you greet them good morning, have no idea who is training this people but the might need a new manager. Though Panera is a franchised restaurant chain, its casual bakery/cafe' configuration is a healthy choice. This Panera recently opened in the area and a welcome addition to the Landing. Not only do they have a merry medley of sandwiches, salads, soups, and baked goods, the dining area is clean with free wireless internet along with free coffee refills! The only con basically is the price. The breakfast sandwich portion is meager for $3+ nevertheless the Pick 2 combos for lunch make it a slightly better value. I like the hearty chili with cornbread chunks *, turkey sandwich on croissant, chicken noodle soup, and the toasted bagels (I hate that they charge for the cream cheese separately). The tuna sandwich is the only item I don't like so far as the tuna sogs up the bread. Parking is available all over the place and if you are frequent visitor here, you should consider getting a Panera card. Every few transactions I got freebies like: Free Bagel, Free Pastry, Free Smoothie or Espresso, $2 off the next order, etc. It is also nice to know that I can buy their fresh bagels in bulk for meetings and it isn't super busy early in the morning. How do you forget the SAUSAGE on a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Door dash order and when I called Panera to tell them this, they told me I needed to contact door dash. But it's funny because DOOR DASH did their job. They got me my food on time. It was Panera that failed to deliver. And then when I asked the worker on the phone if I could come in and show them my order / receipt.. they told me to contact door dash and I could get a refund. Also the manager did not get on the phone at Panera but instead directed their employee to tell me to resolve the issue myself. Came here for breakfast to get my usual Cinnamon Toast Crunch bagel but they were out of all bagels by the time I got there, which was only 10am. I didn't have a choice but getting the cinnamon roll and pecan braid with a small cup of Hazelnut brewed coffee. The pecan braid was good but the coffee was pretty bad (like it is 3:1 water to coffee), the place wasn't very clean either, had to wipe and sanitized the table before putting my personal belongings on there.
