Small "hole in the wall" sandwich shop off Airport road. I've driven by here so many times and didn't even notice it until I read about this on Yelp. The building is at the bend of the road so be careful when you drive in and out of the small parking lot. The staff was super friendly and helped me navigate the menu. I ordered a full size pastrami sandwich on italian bread. It was only $10 and was MASSIVE!!! I asked for the works, to include all the veggies and mayo/mustard. Pastrami was delicious. Sandwich was so filling, that I was only able to eat half and saved the other half for dinner. Will definitely come back to try the other sandwiches out. read more

They are fast but the lady is not friendly...The guy who used to work there was so nice! Now it seems they are being cheap and slicing the meat and cheese super thin. My sandwich was a whole lot of bread and not much else, the cheese was so thinly sliced it was see through and it was the only one slice on my sandwich. Fantastic loki sandwich shop near downtown renton You'll find here a variety of sandwiches in every combination you can imagine. Can add chips and a soda to any sandwich for $ 2-3 dollars. Service is quick and friendly, and you could tell that the food was made with love & care. The chef is very meticulous in the way that he arranges the fresh ingredients inside. The bread is delicious and, in my personal opinion , even better toasted. There are only a few small tables with limited seating inside. There is no public restroom. Parking is limited with room for about 5 or 6 vehicles in a small lot. This seems like a place pursuited for a to go order. As a kid, there was a couple Sub Shops near me, and both made sandwiches so fat that you could barely finish half. I decided to check out this location as I pass it on occasion and always say I need to double back. The place was empty, but the guy was nice. Unfortunately, the sandwich was all bread and had about 20% of the meat that I grew up with. The Full Boat used to be an inch thick, this was worse than Subway. I've heard about this place for years and I was so excited to finally try it. This place is very inconspicuous and is off of a main road. The parking lot has a very small entrance and can be intimidating but take a chance. It takes some time for the sandwiches to be made since there's only one or two people here at max working but it's well worth the wait. I'm from New York and there's very few places that give me that "east coast" vibe. This one does though there's not as many toppings or meat as I'm used to on sandwiches. read more

This was a pretty disappointing sandwich. The roast beef was good. The pickles weren't bad. It could have used a bit more mayo. But the "submarine bread" is just a Franz hoagie roll. I didn't get the French bread because I wanted something soft, but it turns out the French bread isn't crusty. The half size sandwich is a good amount. Super fresh ingredients, very nice and kind customers service. If you want a simple but fresh delicious sub sandwich, stop in! We just with they were open a little later, as we would love to have them for dinner sometimes. I'm sorry we don't have any pictures to share, we are our subs too fast to take a picture- they smelled so yummy! I can vouch for the menu pictures, they are correct, not wrong like so many reviews. Big props to the guy that was working he was doing it all taking orders, making the sandwiches, and taking phone in orders as well. All without a long wait. The shop itself is in a bit of a strange parking area and small. Once you go inside there was one table to sit at and the order area. The sandwiches themselves were a great portion. The taste is where I'm missing something, it's not to say it isn't a good sandwich but texture wise it's pretty one note as everything was a bit small. I do see you can add pickles so next time I would definitely add those. If they toasted the bread a bit to give that crunch this place would be a home run! But I would still recommend it if you do like the softer bread on a sandwich as this maybe the place for you. I'll definitely visit again! read more

Half sandwich was plenty and reasonable at $5.15. Lots of bottled/canned sodas and teas as well as plenty of chips to round out your meal. Go with the French bread, it's soft and tasty. Make sure you look at all the menus before you order. There's their standard one, a specials board and a white board with additional offerings. They have a sandwich called the superboat that has 8 meats on it at only $12.89 for the full. Carnivores rejoice. Dining area is tiny with only 6 seats. While the health department has posted an "excellent" rating for this sammich shop for meeting health code standards, I'm sad to say the quality of the sub is less than Subway's stinginess. Another Renton food establishment that I have gone past, oh, about 1000 times during the past several years, but never stopped at until this week. I was amazed as I stepped inside the door at how clean and new everything looked, there was even a bit of smell of new carpet in the air. Shiny new ductwork ran along the ceiling. Actually, the red and white geraniums growing in the flower bed along the front of the building looked pretty spiffy too. Quite a huge variety of sandwiches on the menu board directly behind the counter. But pay more attention to the specials board displayed on the right side of the counter. These sandwiches are more elaborate and I wish I had noticed that board before I placed my order for a simple salami and turkey sandwich. The lady running the counter was efficient and no-nonsense, but kind of stern too. My sandwich, dressed with mustard and mayo, was prepared quickly. For $7, I thought the whole sandwich portion was very generous. Most likeable about the sandwich was the bread, which was very soft and fresh. The meats were good. My hubby enjoys the #1, which is some type of Italiano deal. This place lacks decor, decent parking, and any type of real seating - I think the place only has like 2 or 3 tables - but I always get it to go. Even if you feel like dining nearby, the Cedar River is RIGHT THERE so enjoy a little picnic with yourself and the sandwich. One other thing that would be nice is more selection on healthy chips. I like havin' some crunch with my sandwich lunch, but they only have the original Sun Chips and original Baked Lay's. Come on, now!
