Stopped here on an impulse. I had a cheeseburger without cheese (my bad, not theirs, I didn't have any lactaid pills with me).The burger patty itself tastes great. Microscopic amount of ketchup, mayo and Sma5h sauce. (but there was Smas5h sauce on the side and there is ketchup at the table) . I'd prefer cheddar over American cheese anyway. And this was a good opportunity to just taste the beef. Good, caremelized flavor. I might just go cheeseless next time also. Regardless if the scant amount of condiments was intentional or just being cheap, the burger tasted good. Generous portion of fries. Hot and crisp. House seasoning on the fries doesn't add much flavor. Mostly garlic powder? not much salt. I'd actually just prefer plain ol' salt instead of their seasoning. Ordering at the touchscreen is a little confusing. Calling things "extra" implies their is already some on the burger. And if the cheeseburger is the most basic thing on the menu, call that the "simple" burger, not the next one on the menu. The "Simple" burger is a dollar more than the cheeseburger. If you're a newbie, Look at the menu board overhead to figure out what's what and then order with the guy at the counter or use the touchscreen. The menu board is a little bit more clear. First table I sat at was so wobbly I had to move to another one. Windex to clean the tables? Should probably be using quat sanitizer. I wish they had some combo meals as an option. But still, this is a solid "fast casual" smash burger. Better than the big chain restaurants like McDonald's or BK. But you'll spend more. read more

This is my 4th time eating here. Their smash burgers really hit the spot. Thin, but still juicy and flavor. I like the change to the straight fries from the old crinkle they had. Smash sauce is my favorite - creamy with the sweet and little tangy. 1st time for ordering ahead online. Very smooth. I order 1 burger bunless (no lettuce wrap but thats more than okay). Burger was still nicely assembled in a little box and lettuce was beautiful and crisp. I had arrived way earlier than the estimated time. I had been craving a good meaty burger all week. I was too lazy to leave the house , so I ordered delivery from DoorDash. The burgers looked really good, and I liked how they had sauces to go. I ordered the Super smash burger, fries with their seasoning and their extra smash sauce. The burger is meaty and huge, very sauce as well. I didn't like the seasoning on the fries. I can't figure out what kind of seasoning it is. I did like the smash sauce. I enjoyed the soft bun, but with the burger so saucy, the bun soaked it up and fell apart. Sma5h is a halal burger spot that I found that opened recently. Their smash burger patties are pretty thin but still juicy. Their signature sauce kind of reminded me of a campfire sauce but more on the sweet side. It was good combination. I would definitely reccomend the fries. I am excited that this place has just opened in Renton. Not only is it convenient but it's a true smash burger place. Tried it for lunch today, but be warned it's across from Renton High School and it gets inundated with students at lunch time. We were there before the rush by the time we left there were more than 40 orders on the board from the crowd. First, know that you are ordering a Kiosk, and then folks assemble the food and bring it too you. There are lots of seats and overall the place is kind of hip but cold steel tables and wall coverings. I ordered Sma5h Fries, Supreme Sma5h, and a Vanilla Shake. Everything was great. I loved the burger, if I did it again, I would remove the food of my food (vegetables) the lettuce, pickle, and tomato are not needed and it would have been better. The grilled onions are perfect, it's crunchy, good flavor, and lots of meat. The bun was good too. The fries were good, although by the time I was eating them, not only were the potatoes cold, so was the sauce. Perhaps they sat, I took too long, or they just needed to start hotter. With that, they were great. SO much sauce they were almost swimming, which is not a bad thing. The shake was good, wish they had more flavor options but I stuck with vanilla. So we pulled up 15 minutes before they close and we saw that they were putting up their dine in chairs so we asked if they can do take out and the guy looked at me like dude we are closed... I understand sometimes you really want to go home but 15 minutes isn't really that long. Just got the vibe of a selfish employee that seemed too lazy to do work even tho he was doing a half ass attempt of sweeping the store. I was looking forward to trying out this new place out in Renton, but was a little disappointed. Service was nice, the guy at the counter was very polite. Even though I was the only one in there at lunch time, he gave me a pager which I thought was a little funny. I got the #2 Simple Smash burger. Decent burger patty, good amount of veggies, but the cheese was not fully melted. Price at $8.80 seemed about average. I was not a fan of the Smash fries. The sauce was very runny (liquid) and not super tasty IMO. Smash fries are only 60 cents more than regular fries, but I think you're better off sticking with regular fries. The music and interior decor seemed very strangely mismatched. Graffiti style interior, but soft piano music in the background. It kind of felt like I was in a dentist waiting room. I was so happy to hear SMA5H had expanded to a second location in Renton and had to stop by. I ordered the Supreme Smash, a two patty smash-burger on a brioche bun. Service was quick and easy and my burger was ready in about 5 minutes. What stood out to me was the well seasoned and crisp edged beef patties, crispy beef bacon, and a tasty burger sauce. I've been eyeballing this spot and finally got a chance to try it! I loved the flavors and overall quality of everything, the portions were bigger than expected! What we ordered: - Supreme Burger - Super Burger - Loaded Fries - Sweet Potato Fries - Oreo Shake Overall both burgers were good size and had great consistency throughout, we did order it as takeout so the brioche buns got a bit soggy so it was very messy to eat once we got home with it. But the brioche buns were fluffy and buttery, not sure if it'll be as messy fresh if you dine-in (would not recommend eating in car without wipes). Loaded fries were holy freaking delicious with all the house sauce, meat, and toppings, it can easily feed 2-3 people with how filling they were. I was a big fan of their house/smash sauce, it has the touch of sweetness with spices that I love. Service was fast, called in our order instead of using the site and it was going to be ready in 15 mins. When we got there, the place wasn't busy but I really liked the wall art and setup of the location, looks like a spot that's ready to take orders when busy with tablets and counter register. First time ordering and I got to say it more than met my expectations! I will definitely be ordering from here again! The #4 Supreme SMA5H was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. It had the right bun to meat ratio along with the toppings. The burgers are nice and juicy and I love the brioche bun. The Loaded fries are a meal unto itself! I wasn't expecting such a huge portion but you could easily get two meals out of it. I love the combination of all the ingredients including that wonderful SMA5H sauce. It's so yummy! The Sweet potato fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. These are my favorite type of fries to eat and they give you plenty again enough for two meals. Strawberry Shake was nice and thick with plenty of strawberry flavoring. I didn't think anyone could compare to my favorite burger place Five Guys but with the freshness of the ingredients, flavor profiles, and sauce; this may be my go to place for a burger. read more

This place was very good and I'd definitely eat there again. Everything I ordered was very good, service was great. If I had one thing I'd change about it is there was people in there with clearly no intention on buying food and as soon as they saw me ordering one of them walked up and was asking me to buy them food. It's not cheap as my meal was over 20 dollars and I definitely don't want to go there and have someone meet me at the register trying to get me to pay for their meal. This place was weird. Food was decent. Had no AC so we were sweltering. Everything is on lockdown. You have to ask for napkins. No soft drink machine so no free water. But my biggest beef was that it felt like we were intruding on a place of worship. The employees had a prayer room where they took off their shoes in the hall next to the bathrooms in order to enter.
