I still love this location, and all of my precious review stands: the food is delicious, the customer service is friendly and fast, it is clean, and possibly the most comfortable spot to hang out in the winter when you're looking for a cozy spot with a fireplace. However, I am changing my opinion from 5 to 4 stars based on price alone. I love the booths at this location as they are near windows so you get plenty of sunlight. I don't care for the parking lots as much as they don't connect but this area is fairly crowded with businesses. The food is really good and fresh. My mom and I visited this location for the first time today. It wasn't busy at all. I went to the kiosk to order the food /drinks and our order was ready within a few minutes. This place is a community melting pot and a great place to eat delicious food, drink coffee and meet with people. I have made this a weekly spot and I have not been disappointed each time. Here's why: 1. Great coffee! The dark roast is my favorite and they are really good about making sure it is always hot and fresh. If you tell an employee that it is not, they will brew one immediately! 2. Kind staff! The staff is welcoming and cleaning tables regularly. If they recognize you as a regular, they stop and say hello. I really enjoy how this place is a community! People know each other and are kInd 3. Yummy food!! We've recently made this place as a treat for our kids. The kids menu is delicious! And of course, the adults! I really like the "order two" option. Salads are my favorite! Then if you feel up to it, you can't go wrong with the baked goods!! This Panera is located in Ghent and some seedy people can come in, but the staff is really kind in making sure they are ok and ensuring they aren't bothering guests. There are many Starbucks cafe around but the community feel can't be beat! This is the third time my order was delivered to the SAME WRONG address and each time, just like this morning, when I call about it I am meant with excuses and a redelivery if I want it. As a long time customer and someone in customer service, I am quite understanding of the pandemic; however, I gave copious notes and instructions on how to locate and obtain access to my building, not to mention my phone number is listed; I dont find this acceptable, and I am yet again disappointed and frustrated. So far, ive been waiting 13 min on my redelivery that I was told would take "5 minutes," especially considering I am a 2 minute drive from the store. Unlike the other people here, I don't have another Panera to compare to. I can only say how good I thought it was in comparison to other places that are comparable. This is what I saw. A seemingly magical bakery of delicious goods with plenty of sitting space and many people at the cashiers to help you with your order. Parking is tight since they share a lot with many other popular restaurants especially during lunch and dinner. It appeared to me that most of their food was fresh; all of the pastries looked plump and hot. I decided to get a turkey artichoke panini. Given that I am already a panini fan it wasn't too hard to get to me to like it. But almost as soon as I ordered it, they had already prepared my sandwich. It was hot, flavorful and just sinfully delicious. I will continue to update this review as I eat there more but from my first experience, this place deserves 4 stars. read more

This location is pretty cool because not only can you order at the counter but if it is really busy you can order at the kiosks. Of course you can order on the app as well. My sandwich was pretty good. The croissants are different now. The only thing. The coffee is behind the cream station so it took me a while to figure out where to look. This location has a pretty large parking lot and additional street parking in back near the tennis courts. They're pretty on-point with prepping orders because it can get really crowded around lunch time in the middle of the work day with students, residents and local folks who work around here stopping in for lunch. I've visited one other time before but on this trip I had the Thai Chicken Salad with a veggie soup and bread with a green tea. I also shared a half oatmeal raisin cookie with my friend. YUM. The cookie was soooo delicious. The Thai Chicken salad was good - but had a little too much spice in the dressing for my taste. I'll stick to my favorite from now on I believe, the hummus chicken salad. French onion and chicken noodle soups are the best, and the sourdough bread boules are great. Breakfast is less than mediocre, but that's the fault of the Panera chain, not this location -- while some of the items are good (I've never felt full or satisfied after breakfast here), the price tag leaves you sorry you didn't just go to a diner. I order faithfully from this store and I normally have absolutely no problems. Today I placed an order and it stated it was delivered at 4:35 pm. Granted I'm working in a retail store, so I would see and know if it were delivered. Mind you it's 5:22pm. I call back to the store and the GM (Jaime) explains how door dash works. I already understand this, however; it's not my fault your company uses them. As a GM you would think she'd understand my frustrations, but she tells me I don't have to explain customer service to her and that door dashers sometime don't deliver their food as if that's my fault. They weren't busy, yet was like they just didn't want to take the time to me an actual sandwich. I know it doesn't look bad in the picture but it's smaller in person. My mom salad though was nice size lite on feta cheese but too heavy on dressing guess should have asked for it on side. I should have put all back in bag and gone back for refund but was tired and hungry would not feed the contents of sandwich to a dog ended up eating leftovers instead waste of $26 I think they've been resting on their reputation and please don't think COVID has anything to do with this..If you hire the right people and set standards and hold staff accountable to produce quality then will have positives result Panera gets an F for failure to deliver read more
