Can't tell you how excited I was to get a Panera down the road. Unfortunately, I most likely will not be returning unless we eat-in and I can watch them prepare my food. They screwed up my take-out order three times in a row. The first time we went through the drive-thru and the girl messed up our order twice. When we lost our patience the second time we had to repeat our order she stormed off and asked another worker to help us. Mind you, we were NOT out of line, but clearly annoyed that she wasn't doing her job. Maybe if she wasn't chatting up her co-workers in between taking our order, she would've taken it correctly the first time. I previously worked here but have also ate their food and gotten sick because either the food was not properly prepared or cross contamination of foods happened. I would never eat at this location ever again and I'm not writing this review because I worked there. The management there treats their employees like garbage. Also give customers attitude. I hope this location goes out of business. They need to either fire employees and management and get new ones or close this location. They are not professional when it comes to retail at all. My family and I always have a wonderful time at Panera but today was extra great! Steve provided amazing customer service. He was so helpful. He kept coming to our table to check on us, got us whatever we needed, and was so courteous to my handicapped mother-in-law. Where do I start?! The bread is stores in the hallway while worked bump next to it getting orders. It is also stored on racks next to garbage bins. Not impressed, especially after being open for a short time. Will never come back. Which is a same. I rather travel 20 min to middletown ny to goto that panera. Waste of my time. I use to love going to this location but have since stopped. It is like they no longer care. I got a Cuban sandwich and the pork was awful and rancid. Never told my husband and one day he took the kids out to eat he came back and told me how he had the Cuban and it was terrible, he said the meat had a bad taste. I have gotten a ham sandwich and the bread had the texture of being under cooked. Needless to say I will no longer go there. read more

Amazing service. Great food. (Highly recommend the Mac and cheese). Shout out to Pat for being the nicest and most welcoming server.

The staff is friendly, the food is really good and the wifi is better than most in the area. I meet clients there often and enjoy talking with the counter staff. They always have smiles on and it is a great vibe. It makes up a little bit of the lack of bagel choices in the afternoon. I rarely go with the kids as a quick dinner choice since the kids' choices are pretty pricey. In the winter, it would be nice if they could control the seating area temperature better that is effected by the drive-thru or people exiting using the mid-dining room door. It gets so cold! Maybe put a sign up on that door "Emergency Exit Only" or add heat sources in the seated area. Overall, I enjoy going there and find it is very clean and well-managed. read more

We usually stop here while running errands and last Friday May 4 was our most recent for lunch. Every time we come here we are amazed by the friendly runners and staff at Panera. It's always clean and friendly. Steven I believe was the food runner on Friday! The nicest guy. He was so friendly, helped get our drinks, thoughtfully cleaned our table and even brought back the highchair we used. He was sincere and sweet and watching him talk with all the guests I was amazed. Manager was not nice when I called asking for help using a coupon. He seemed annoyed and that's not the right way to treat a customer.

I've been for breakfast multiple times and lunch once. Place is spotless and always empty. Great areas for seating including outdoor seating, which is nice but needs improvement; ie foliage to make u feel like ur not sitting in parking lot. Service is more than adequate. Poor service and filthy. First of all, I ordered a bread bowl and instead of informing me that this location was out of bread bowls, the cashier simply rang me up for a regular soup (which came lukewarm, to make matters worse). I then ordered a drink and she handed me my cup face down on the dirty countertop. The workers in the back were fooling around shrieking and the server was incredibly rude. Food all over the ground and tables and the bathroom was a complete mess. I don't know which manager owns this incredibly poor-run franchise but he/she needs to make serious changes. read more

Decided to give Panera Bread a second chance...first time there...i found a long black hair sticking out of the side of my Blueberry Scone...this time i went in after working a 10 hour day...starving ...so i ordered a Panini Sandwich...was told to go to the pick up area so i did. This is where it all went wrong...VERY wrong...the young girl behind the counter preceded to make 6 sandwiches...including mine without gloves on...throwing things into the garbage...touching her hair...touching and wiping condiments off her fingers right on to the sandwich...when she handed me my sandwich...i said to her "Youre not really going to expect me to eat that sandwich which you made with no gloves on"...with that she rolled her eyes..laughed in my face and told me how long and exhausting her day was...and how her hands were clean because she had a Holiday Manicure....ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! I went to explain to the manager what happened....and she totally agreed with me that the rudeness of this young girl was unacceptable...then was told to apologize....it was a half assed apology....that she didnt mean...only apologized because she was told to...What the girl should have done from the get go...was to apologize and offer to make me a new sandwich immediately... Long story short...i asked for a refund....and left still starving and extremely unhappy...will NEVER go back there again!!!!! I hope the manager did the right thing and fired that rude girl...she is not the image that Panera Bread should want working for them! read more

Horrible service, from the front counter to when you are seated. Cashiers seem to have no idea what's on the menu, often repeating back to you..."Cobb Salad?" We stopped here for a quick lunch and the staff was super sweet. We had our dog with us and had to sit outside. While we were ordering one of the staff that was on break offered to watch my dog as I went in for a second and had to leave him outside. We were very happy to have Panera open in Monroe. We went @ 3:00 in the afternoon..not crowded..counter service was fine..food came quickly. The problem was the place was dirty,dirty,dirty! I had to brush crumbs off my seat at the cleanest table we could find. The floor had stuff all over..crumbs,paper,straws. Decided to wash my hands before the food came..bathroom not clean. The kids working there were goofing off. Yeah they take your plates away for you but at least wait until the person is finished eating..a worker asked if he could take my plate..I still had half a sandwich to eat! I like Panera. I've never had anything that I didn't like. My review is about the staff. My fifteen year old daughter and I came here after shopping one night for dinner. The language between the staff, joking loudly amongst themselves, was laced with the F word. It was almost ridiculous in their lack of awareness. I saw two other tables take notice and could hear the couple behind me talking about it. I was even more disappointed when I saw the manager at the register as we left. I know he had to have heard. I would have said something that night but didn't want to embarrass my daughter. read more

I generally really enjoy the food at Panera and am willing to pay for the quality of the food. With that, I will only return to other locations of Panera Bread. Of the few, unfortunate, encounters with this store, my orders have been incorrect or incomplete. The service is terrible, the store is dirty and I always promise myself I won't return. The worst service from employees. Multuple times I've gotten attitude from staff and also waited a very long time for my food to be delivered. I once went there and the ladies room was locked shut without anyone in the bathroom, I notified several members of the staff and none of them made any effort to correct the problem even though there was a line forming. read more

Been here twice, my first time was over a year ago, could have been 2-3 years, was bad then and BAD today. We were just at the Monroe Location, and this is not the first time I had an issue with your food. I have a Panera card but took it out of my purse as I planned on never going back. My daughter was the one that wanted soup in a bread bowl. To start, it was 10:46 am and she was told they only had two soups made at that time, and that we could not wait for any other soup. Again, told WE COULD NOT WAIT FOR ANY OTHER SOUP. I had the high calorie soup, only because I was afraid to order anything else. I like the souffles, but they didn't have any left. So my daughter ordered a Med Chicken Flat bread. The sandwich was cold, even the bread, they told us they warm up the bread. It was horrible, tasted like sugar was put on it, very sweet. So she went back to school with no lunch. I gave it to an associate and told them it was horrible and they said oh, sorry, that was it. Well thank-you for nothing. I should have stayed with my first decision and not go to Panera PERIOD. I haven't been there in over a year, may even been a few years, but this is the last time for sure! read more

Panera, as a chain, has good food-especially the salads. I come here often just for the convenience-it's the only Panera in the area. Unfortunately, my visits will be coming to an end. The staff is incredibly rude-flagrantly so. Last night, while waiting for an order, a staff member commented to another associate that he was spending too much time making food that was "just take out". There were jokes about mistakes being commonplace-literally they take pride in ruining orders. When waiting at the drive through they often ask us to pull forward so they are not subject to the clock used to measure timeliness. I tried to look up information about an owner to contact, because as a chain there is so much potential, but I think this location might be beyond repair. So unfortunate and disappointing. read more

Waited forever in the drive-through at 1:30pm on a Saturday, when it really shouldn't be that busy. Ordered an Asian Chicken Salad. Got home to find that the salad was simply romaine lettuce with some chicken tossed on top with a couple of wonton strips. This panera was a disaster. There was no where to sit because all the tables were dirty. My card with my order number was removed from my table while I was in the bathroom and my table was taken by another customer. My order was rung up incorrectly, and I overheard the cashiers talking about how they have not eaten or had a break all day. My order took 25 minutes to be delivered and it was delivered incompletely. I could see that many of the other customers were displeased and annoyed with this service. My soup was delivered cold.
