I think the communication here was bit off, since I mentioned what sandwich I wanted a few times and felt like I had to remind them. The Tony Montana Cubano sandwich was definitely different like a deluxe version of cabana. Very filling for sure and I like the shredded pork patty as well. The deli meat though I wish was not cooked as much since salami cooked can get tough. Plus too much spicy mustard made it messy. The Mac salad was alright, pretty bland. It's okay here, but will not be first choice for a deli in that area. read more

It's always the right time of the day for a BECSPK! I can't say that I was completely disappointed with the sandwich, but I definitely wasn't satisfied, and here's why. The bacon which was mostly fat, was cooked to a crisp. The crispy fat had an unpleasant after taste. But hey, If you're going to serve fatty bacon, it better be crispy lol. Beware of these scammers!! I came in to buy a breakfast sandwich for $7. The clerk asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no. Big mistake! He charged $75 to my credit card. When I called to inform them of this the owner said it was a mistake. I wanted to believe him. However what happened next makes me believe that this was not a mistake at all. The owner was not helpful or apologetic for his mistake. I do not live near this deli so going back to get a refund was very inconvenient for me. The owner wanted to only give me a partial refund and still charge me for my small breakfast sandwich. Most restaurant owners would recognize that it would be a good courtesy to the costumer to give a full refund for the inconvenience of making them drive 30 mins each way to resolve THIER mistake. So after I told the owner this over the phone, he did agree to give the full refund. However, when we arrived to the deli he tried again to only give a partial refund which I again argued against. Then the owner said "can I just give you $70 cash. If I do the refund with the credit card machine it's difficult to do, it takes a long time and I have to call the company to make it go through." And we said "that's ok, we want the full refund on the credit card". Then he went and processed the refund within 30 seconds with no challenges and no "call to the company". So clearly this guy is dishonest and attempting to scam his customers. Beware!!! Oh and the sandwich wasn't that good anyway. read more

Best deli in town. They always have delicious food and make the best sandwiches. They use real bacon and cook it better than anywhere else in town. The workers are so friendly, thoughtful, and receptive. It is always a good experience and the best part is the price. Sooooo cheap. Two large signs on the door say all customers must wear masks, so I walk in with my mask on. There are 5 other customers in the store, two women are at the counter when they turn around they are not wearing masks, the gentlemen behind the counter also not wearing a mask has his hanging from one ear. The woman in front of me complains about the two without masks and about his mask hanging from his ear. His reasoning was that the two women didn't speak English, but yet they were able to order food hmmm. Needless to say that will be my last visit to Harriman Square Deli read more
