Having the steak stuffer is not good too much cheese and not enough steak along with the dragon fruit drink the drink is the only thing that makes it bearable to have so much cheese put on. Now I understand why the previous review on the game 2 1/2 stars. I hope they improve here. read more

I went out with my family to Panera thinking that it would be a quick and easy time on a road trip. But The service was really bad, My Mom asked for extra avocado in her market bowl and they forgot all the avocado and the wrong salad dressing too , My Mexican corn soup was supposed to have tortilla chips but they forgot the tortillas chips. My Dads had a tuna bowl and the tuna salad was hot. When my mom told the worker they forgot her avocado and her extra avocado they gave her only 2 wedge slices and they didn't give my mom a side of potato chips either, there were no utensils in the take out bag, low staff, and they can only do food in a take out bag, when we where eating in side!!! . Although the food is good, service was not , wouldn't recommend. read more

An okay experience... Years back, this used to be a family favorite to go to when we were in the area. Not quite sure what happened! Starting off, some of the workers are very nice and welcoming! The other workers, especially some of the workers in the kitchen - seem to not want to be there. Service overall was mediocre in my opinion. Moving onto food, it also used to be way better. The Mac and Cheese tastes.. watery? I'm not even quite sure how to explain it, and I'm experienced with explaining food. Majority of the cookies are good, the frosted ones are very very sweet though. The brownies are the only thing I thought was fantastic from here, but for main meals, Panera has been a little disappointing recently. Finally, the atmosphere. The atmosphere yet again is mediocre, it doesn't impress me. Most of the tables are cleaned however, the floor doesn't always look clean though. Impressed by the bathroom, which seems to be clean. The art on the walls near the dining area is a nice touch, but overall the atmosphere is a little underwhelming. Panera used to be one of my favorites, I really hope they can improve and make a comeback. read more

We stopped by Panera in Monroe tonight. We were greeted by Gio and asked about several items on the menu. He recommended a few great choices. I had Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup and my wife had Cibattta Cheesesteak and Tomato Soup. Both were excellent. Gio was extremely friendly and professional. It's always nice to have a pleasant experience when dining out. Great Job Gio! Thanks. read more

Slowest Panera I've ever been to. Also not the cleanest. Waited for 30 min and half the greens in my salad was wilted.

This is the worst panera location. 0 stars for quality and service. They are out of everything- including coffee. There no coffee. Espresso machine was broken and all the coffee containers were empty. No tuna sandwich and no avo toast. Mediocre soup. Below average service especially the lady at the counter - does not want to be here. Never returning. read more

Worst Panera Bread I've ever stopped at . I understand employees don't control a machine breaking but when I ask if they have any hot coffee I get an attitude from someone pretending to be manager. Saying oh coffee machine broke . The iced coffee they did have was almost see though tasted so watered down , Bad attitude no type of customer service turns around and starts laughing with her coworker when I asked what time they open , I stood outside for 10 minutes, it was 7:30. How are your doors locked 30 minutes into your shift? bad supervisor. read more

Never a bad meal at Panera. Not perfect.... My chicken avocado melt was cold in the middle.... And by French onion soup bread bowl was a tad shy on soup. But everything tasted great. I was starving and as usual Panera was fresh and thankfully not crowded at at. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. It's a good stop. read more

Went here on Saturday March 2nd 2024 with my mom to get some lunch after shopping at nearby walmart. We walked in and gave our order. I ordered the you pick 2 Southwest salad with the bacon chicken sandwich, and my mom ordered the you pick 2, broccoli soup with the southwest chicken sandwich. Also a drink. The reason why i put 4/3 stars is because the cashier who took our order did not ask us if we wanted bread, chips or an apple. She did however sell us 50% off pastries. We paid via credit card. We then waited by the kitchen, and realized that the cashier forgot to give us our drink, not only that she sold us the pastry, but didn't give it to us after. Luckily we saved the reciept, and she gave it to us. After the food came out, we asked for the drink. We only paid for 1, and not 2, but were given 2. we then went to the kitchen part and asked for a blood orange lemonade, and raspberry tea. We also asked for chips since we weren't given a choice.. Anyways, overall food was very good, and i enjoyed my lunch! Also was able to find a seat inside, which is always good! Hopefully will be back soon! read more

Came to grab dinner after shopping - had a delicious & delightful meal. The dining area was clean & the service was great. Our food was ready quickly even with people in the dining area. The General Manager John was helpful & very nice/accommodating during our ordering process. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. read more

Ordered soup. Didn't give me a spoon or even napkins. Lady at the drive thru was also cursing out loud. Smh

Wrong items, nonexistent service and just incredibly bad experience overall. 9 out of 10 orders to receive wrong items, and they usually are not huge complicated orders with ample rooms for errors. read more

I'm surprised by all the poor reviews! -First Impression- everything was clean, and every employee was busy doing something, but not too busy to say hi or smile -Food- I always order the exact same thing: frontega chicken and broccoli cheddar soup with bread. Never disappoints! -Service- There was no line, I was immediately greeted by a girl fixing up the front displays. She asked if I was ready to order, which I was, and if I had a Panera card. I declined to order a drink, but she gave me a cup for water anyway. My food was brought right to my table by a young man who was running around the dining area helping other patrons, making sure everything was to their liking. As I left, I was sent out by the same two employees with big smiles and well wishes for the day. -Price- standard Panera pricing -Did Not Like- N/A -Noteworthy- the piece of bread I got today was damn near the whole loaf! -Recommended?- Yes. I haven't met a Panera I don't like. read more

I stopped in on my way out of town. My first time there. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was asked if I wanted water while I waited. They apologize for the delay, although there was not one on a Sunday afternoon. I had an interaction with 4 staff members, all were extremely professional, and friendly. Very much appreciated. Good job management training. My only complaint is that you don't have lobster rolls, like your new England counterparts. Please get some. It will make your staff happy too. :) read more

Came here on a saturday night and ultimately, I got what I needed from panera; a hot meal at an affordable price. The employees were quite nice and were able to help with all requests. My one main complaint was their baguette was stale; they nicely offered me other bread but I wish they figured out how to keep their bread fresh even to the end of the day. read more

This Panera's Bread Place is not clean. The tables and floor rugs are very dirty and smelly. Horrible atmosphere. Food was good tho.

The young lady that took my order by the drive thru......let just say she took my order and repeated to me wrong three times after correcting her I still got the wrong order. For the amount they charging they should at least get my order right. read more

I ordered through the Panera Bread app a chicken noodle soup and when it was delivered there was nothing but the broth inside of my bowl. I called the location I ordered from and asked what happened and was given an extremely rude response in which I asked to speak to the manager. The lady on the phone put me on hold for over ten minutes before I hung up and nobody ever got back to me. Do not order from this location. This is not the first time I have received a bad order and nothing is done about it. read more

Love the food but the service is spotty. It has never been great but has gotten worse lately. Oh boy. This panera has always been a solid choice for me up until today. Im not a firm believer in reviewing big brand name corps bc people will continue to go no matter what you write. But i dont really want to let this one go - today i ordered a 2 for 2 meal, one of the two items being turkey chili. Halfway through my cup, my spoon fished out a piece of metal. Yes, a literal piece of metal. I went back to the store and called upon the manager, who was understanding and explained to me that the metal came from the chili pot and must have broken off. Regardless, still not ok. I got a full refund for my meal and 20 dollars in coupons. Though the coupons were nice, i dont believe i'll ever return to panera. One star for the manager handling the situation professionally. read more

Went here after a visit to Massage Envy located in the area for a quick bite. Noticed the lobster role on the menu and decided to give it a try. Yesfreisi, I guess that's how her name is spelled, has to be the most unenthusiastic employee. Her customer service skills was as flat as the bread. After reading a number of reviews and most of the consensus say the service is the number one issue here. The food is Panera and should follow form. The lobster role was typical lobster role...not bad, not great!! Will not be returning. read more

If you want to pay 15plus dollars for a sandwich that has a lot of bread but not much else in terms of meat veggies and filling this is the place for you. These prices are crazy for the portion sizes and the quality while not terrible cannot justify them. Go to a diner where you get huge portions, good fillings on sandwiches and soups and leave full. instead of thinking you spent 15 dollars on a big piece of bread. and that price does not include a drink. also the wait for food is long and the tables are not cleaned regularly read more

This restaurant is under staffed and inefficient . Slowest service I have ever experienced. Drive thru took 15 minutes JUST TO BE ABLE TO ORDER. Then another 15 minutes to get the food. Inside is even worse because you stand blocking the doorway and watch the 1 person behind the counter not only walking like she has no where to go, but then she stops for a quick non-customer service related conversation with another employee. Gave this place too many chances for such overpriced food. Horrible horrible horrible read more

I have always had a great dining experience at the Middletown, NY Panera Bread Restaurant. Food is always fresh, service is wonderful, and there's always someone to help from the staff if you need something. I am very surprised that at other Panera Bread locations such as New Windsor, NY, Monroe, NY and others where their service lacks what people are looking for, which is good customer service. My suggestion to Panera Corporate is to randomly audit each of the Panera Restaurant locations that have a low Customer Satisfaction Index, and retrain the employees that are creating the issues, which can also include the General Manager. If the problem locations are still not performing well, even after Panera Corporate making the effort to effect positive changes, then it's time to restructure the locations with replacing the problematic staff including management to improve the stores performance level. There's an old saying that what one person does, it can affect everyone else. I'm hoping Panera Corporate sees my review and takes the random audit suggestion seriously in order to improve the problem store locations that need to be closely monitored where no repeat issues have to be addressed. read more

Recently I've had several issues at this Panera bread location in Monroe NY. My biggest issue is ordering on mobile or even in store and not finding out that they don't have a certain topping or drink AFTER my order is placed and I'm waiting for it. The first notable time was when I walked in and placed an order for a Madagascar vanilla cream cold brew. I was given a buzzer and sat down to wait. After about 15 minutes (to make a drink and it wasn't busy)my buzzer went off and I went to go pick up the cold brew. When I got to the pick up station I was informed that they did not have the drink. I was extremely angry because I could have been notified well before hand but I let it be, and got a refund. I dispise when my time is waisted . Second incident was today about 3 hours ago. I placed a rapid pick up order for a Fuji apple chicken salad, no onions, added avocado and cucumbers and I substituted the chicken for smoked pulled chicken. I Literally got greens, avocado, cucumbers and the smoked chicken. (Mind you when I got there the order was not ready.) I LITERALLY got NOTHING else in the description of the salad. Not even the Apple chip slices. This is highly upsetting to me because I paid full price for the salad and if I was to add certain ingredients the price would go up. Nothing on the app said that there were no apple slices or anything else that was supposed to come with the salad. Again this is not the first time I've had my order completely wrong. There was no communication to say hey we don't have these toppings. How do I get charged full price for mediocre service? I understand COVID has slowed some businesses down or they are short on employees but the least they can do is COMMUNICATE!!! Let the customer know what's going on. Panera bread as a whole is great quality. But this location in Monroe NY has to do better. read more
