You Pick 2: grilled cheese and butternut squash soup
    Cara T.

I love Panera food and the layout of their cafes for a spot to get work done. I came in here to work for about an hour and was honestly shocked by the state of the dining room. There was food and trash all over the floor. No one was cleaning it up and I would say more than half the tables were dirty. I had to go to 4 different ones before I found one that had been wiped down. There was nobody taking orders at the counter, so you had to use their ipads for mobile ordering. I'm fine with that, but they were super close together so I was squished next to someone trying to order. My food itself came out quick. The man handing the food over was so friendly and I really enjoyed my grilled cheese and butternut squash soup. Both were fresh and piping hot. I hope the manager here improves the upkeep of this store. No one wants to sit in a dirty dining room and if I had more time, I would have just gone somewhere else yesterday after walking in and seeing the state of it.

Choose 2: Turkey Avocado BLT and Fiji Apple salad

Stopped here today for lunch since I had some time to kill before my hair appointment. The "express ordering" area needs revamping. It was 4 iPads Shoulder to Shoulder which makes it awkward to order if all are being used. I ordered the choose 2 and picked the Turkey Avocado BLT and the Fiji Apple salad. My order came out maybe 10 minutes after ordering. Even though it was lunch time, there was a decent amount of clean open tables. My food was good except the bread on my sandwich was maybe a bit stale. Other than that, everything was good and came out quickly.

I ordered the you pick two. The half Mediterranean veggie sandwich was delicious but the half Greek salad was pathetic. Not even half full and their lettuce was not fresh. So much for the new "era"! And this particular location needs to take more pride in order accuracy, appearance and cleanliness!

do not go to the location at Granite Run in Media Pa. I ordered from Panera for dinner tonight. I ordered a caprese sandwich. I got three thin tomatoes and even less mozzarella cheese. my husband ordered a Greek salad and we paid extra for chicken. we got a few small pieces of chicken. not worth the added charge.

Had a nice lunch here today with my daughter and everything was great. This location has only been open a few weeks, and the staff is doing a great job so far running the place. I hadn't been to a Panera in a while, because I had been feeling that they were raising the prices and serving skimpier portions. Yes, I still think the prices are a bit on the high side ($28 for two you pick two combos and two drinks - almost 15 bucks apiece!?!) because I know of plenty of other places I can get a real nice salad or sandwich and a drink for more like 10 or 12 bucks. But at least today, I felt like the size and quality of the food was more worth it. The place was packed with a line the entire time we were there and the staff handled it smoothly and didn't seem stressed at all. Kudos to them. Since it is on my route to work, I plan to stop in for breakfast sometime if I have a little extra time. I think this Panera is a great addition to the area and will do a good business here.

Slowest service I have ever encountered and unfriendly staff who do not acknowledge or say hello while waiting. Disappointed.

Great, simple spot. Courteous staff. This is a new location so it's fresh and very nice inside.

I don't usually leave reviews, but Country Deli absolutely deserves it…read more This place is a hidden gem in the Media area . The food is consistently fresh, portions are generous, and everything just tastes like it's made with care. Their breakfasts are top notch--perfect bread, with tons of options- not just white , wheat or rye...quality meats, and potatoes from heaven. You can tell they don't cut corners. Pancakes are also excellent. Although my request to get one in the shape of a unicorn was denied, only Mickey. LOL They have some homemade baked goods that are killer as well. Try the famous Bryan's Irish soda bread as your toast for a true taste reminiscent of the Emerald Isle. Better yet take one home, like I did. Lunch is fantastic as well...I just wish I could go for that more often. Try the "N" sammy if you like London broil. it's crazy good. What really stood out though was the service. Super friendly, quick, and they actually remember repeat customers. It's the kind of spot that feels local in the best way. Think Norm from Cheers. If you're anywhere near Media and want a solid, no-BS breakfast and lunch spot with a deli that delivers every time, this is it. Easily one of my go-to spots. I'm there every week. You should be too.

I enjoyed the osso bucco very much and had a hearty pasta appetizer. Service and wine excellent. Now in corona mode. 9/11/20 This weekend I enjoyed an outdoor experience there on a Friday. 9/11/20 There was a duo called Almost June playing outside. Great, mellow tunes and smooth voices. The beet salad was quite nice with fresh mozzarella instead of the typical goat's cheese. i also enjoyed the "torta" sandwich. It was a large, tasty crab-cake served burger style probably 6-7 oz. w lettuce tomato, garlic mayo, and some truly delicious fresh-cut fries w skin onI also enjoyed the lemoncello chicken served w fingerling potatoes, and haricot vert. My dining partner complained about our waitress who seemed not to wear a mask at all, even though she was running inside and back out. All other staffers had their masks on as far as I could see when they came our or when I visited the clean, indoor bathroom The inner dining rooms were also operating at what appeared to be full Corona capacity. She also complained that the chicken was dry, I did not agree. It may have been pre cooked for quick delivery upon ordering. The food came out super quickly so there must have been a great deal of advanced prep involved. I know my dining partner gave a bad review so I am giving a good one w constructive criticism I hope to return to La Porta Via and change my rating to 5 stars. I hope they invite Almost June to return and if they have other mellow music there I'd like to see and hear that too

Finally, a NOW OPEN flag was placed atop the sign so my lady and I pulled in to find it. Tucked in the back behind the office building you will find this deceptively small looking building that is actually very spaceous inside. On the shelves you'll find a number of italian specialty items: dried pastas, desserts, chips etc. In the cases you will find prepared foods, salads and sauces. The day we went in there was a refridgerator problem with the glass case and all the food items were stacked on top of each other in a case that worked. We grabbed some cooked stuffed shells and some tomato sauce to reheat for dinner the next evening. The sauce was tasty and fresh but sweeter than I like (tasted like sugar was used which I will never understand as the tomatoes are sufficient.) The shells were spectacular - absolutely delicious. Their website with a full menu is under construction and will be here soon. This is a welcome addition to us folks out here. Closer than Carlinos in West Chester yet more limited compared to the offerings you can get at Carlinos, La Porta Via does offer a solid number of items I intend to try.
