The staff there is the best they are so helpful and kind the food is the best i love the soup bowl they are the bomb

Update on previous review...So Panera charged us for for our cancelled order and the order we received. We asked them before we left to make sure they refunded our credit card. They said they did. A couple days later our card had still not been refunded so we drove back to Panera to speak to a manager- he said it would take a few days , there was nothing he could do. 11 days later, we still don't have our money refunded. Slowest service I have ever received at a Panera Bread. Self service kiosks were out of calibration or flat out didn't work. When your out of a item (fruit cup) I would have to assume in this day and age you can simple shut down ordering for it. Waited 20 mins for a grilled cheese. read more

Slowest service I have ever encountered and unfriendly staff who do not acknowledge or say hello while waiting. Disappointed.

The staff gives great customer service. I had thought I ordered two lattes for pick up, and sent my mom to get them (without her phone). 15 minutes later, I realized that I had not pressed the final button on the app and I had no way to reach her. When I called the store, they knew who I was, and realized that the app order that came in was the same my mom has bought and paid for. They had already cancelled the online order. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the staff in handling the mixup. Lattes were pretty tasty too, and I have enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches as well. This is properly one of the worst Panera breads that I have been to. I just ordered soup, and it took about 15 minutes. How long does it take to fill a soup bowl in a fast food place. The place was not crowded at all. I would say there are some slow folks working behind the counter. The chicken noodle soup was warm not hot. Don't care for luke warm soup. I also noticed a girl who was placing food like the lettuce and sandwich garnishes into their bins behind the food counter with her hands instead of gloves. Just hope she washed her hands after her restroom stop. It's a new place, so hopefully all of the start up problems will be worked out and we can see a more efficient store in the future. read more

This is one of the worst locations I have been to. The floors are always filthy, the tables not cleaned, and the food takes extremely long to come out. I love Panera, but this location is HORRIBLE. Don't eat here. read more

I was here tonight to pick up dinner. I used the fast kiosk lane to order my food to go. I noticed there were several people standing by the window where you pick up your food. I noticed on the screen I was 17th on the list. I waited for about 5 minutes before I heard a gentleman nicely ask why the food was taking so long and if there was a manager. One of the cooks came out from the back and there was some screaming, yelling and pushing going on between the customer and cook in the lobby. After waiting 25 minutes and moving to #15 on the was list, I got back in line (there was no one at the register to assist customers) to cancel my order. I then had to repeat my entire order back to the manager for a refund. Worst part is, she never once apologized!!! As someone who works in a restaurant I can understand being busy and not being able to catch up. However, to not communicate that with your customers and not apologize is unacceptable. There were plenty of staff there so not sure what the situation was. This location is super convenient but won't be back after tonight's experience. read more

I went to this location for the first time today at 11:30 AM. There was no wait. I ordered strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken and it was just perfect; but I was even more impressed at the service. The manager was extraordinarily kind and helpful and came over to our table to make sure we were accommodated. The atmosphere was clean and bright. I will definitely go back. read more

Just spent 28 mins to order & get 2 sandwiches for take out. 1 person in front of me in line at 7:15 pm so the slow pace wasn't due to volume. 5 employees on site plus a manager and it took that long?? My entire dinner break was lost bc of their poor service. Never again! read more

I was there the day of the official opening. It was packed of course. It was bigger inside than I thought. I was a little disappointed in the pricing. I thought they were very expensive in price. Great place to eat if you don't mind sitting in filth. Floors and counters were disgusting. Bread was overcooked covered in salt. Dishes were piled up by the trash can. I love Panera, I really do. But if there was any reason that I'd all of a sudden start hating Panera, this Panera is the reason. I have eaten here over a dozen times, and every time they managed to screw up my family's food and order. To start, the people taking your order must not realize that there is a world outside of theirs because they will talk about things and not pay attention to your order. They will put things from your order in incorrectly, sometimes not adding something, sometimes adding the wrong thing. They have on many occasions not given us things we ordered from their station as well, and got mad when we waited. And now for the Chefs. I usually get at least half a grilled cheese whenever I'm at a Panera, and not only does this Panera manage to burn the bread of it every time, they manage to burn the cheese as well! One time my grilled cheese was so burned the top piece of bread wasn't able to connect to the cheese. It was also so hard you couldn't bite it. One time I did take the time to get a new one, and it was still burnt!They've given me the wrong salad on many occasions, and somethings they don't put the correct things into the salad as ordered. I've gotten the wrong drinks, appetizers, and food on many occasions. From my experiences at other Panera's, whenever I get a bread bowl, I get the cut out piece of bread with the bowl, but this place just put so many croutons in my soup the soup was only %25 percent soup! As for the bowl itself, I get that it will be a little charred since it gets cooked on an oven or something, but this place managed to burn my bowl as well! The bottom was entirely black and hard and you could see the imprints where whatever it was on cooked it. It wasn't just a few pieces of char her and there, but the entire thing going up into the bottom of the bowl! They've given me the wrong cups as well! Overall, I don't know why this Panera is still open. Panera is a good restaurant but this one puts shame to the name. And these were just my problems. I have a family of 4 that they screw things up for as well! And the prices are overpriced for the quality of food they serve! Don't get me wrong, all the other Panera's I've been to have similar prices, but their food is also 100 times better! And the quality of the restaurant itself is a disaster. It is extremely dirty, and their are insects in it a lot! And the food takes forever to get! Overall, avoid this Panera read more

It is comforting knowing how low many other customers are rating this place. When you order to-go, you are typically in a rush or simply do not wish to interact with the unapologetically rude staff. It's expected that your complete order is in the bag or else it would defeat the purpose, right?? Panera seems to enjoy leaving their customers dissatisfied. For example, forgetting my two Mac & Cheese orders this evening. My $9.98 could have gotten me better service elsewhere. Please also consider putting in more work towards your restrooms. I shouldn't be able to smell the path your food took through someone's digestive system. It's repulsive. read more

I enjoy Panera bread and I have been a long-time customer of the one in Springfield and was very happy when one opened up closer to my house in Granite Run. but today when I went and ordered my chicken tortellini Alfredo which is my favorite food there it came along with a nice long hair. My sister and I went there for breakfast and ordered oatmeal. After we waited for a while it was served. It was barely warm and they should have used more liquid when making it. I took both bowls back to get warmed up and after the girl behind the counter passed by at least 6 times she finally asked me what I wanted. She gave both bowls to someone and they were put in the microwave for a minute or so. Took them back to our table and they still were not hot. Would not go there again. We downloaded the Panera App when this store opened. We play tennis at Penn State nearby. When finished, we open the app, and order from the "You pick Two" menu - two Green Goddess salads, and two broccoli and cheddar soups for Rapid Pickup. Our dinner is always ready within 10 minutes, packaged and sitting on the shelf. Using the app, we pay with a credit card, so we don't have to wait in line. We pull up, run in, grab our dinner and go. Convenient, very tasty, healthy, and affordable. Nothing spectacular, but for the price, it's consistent, reliable, and high quality. read more

The one time we had a problem (they didn't have the soup we ordered), the manager came out and helped us find another dish that my vegan teenager could eat at no extra charge. Whatever you do not want to eat at this restaurant, the staff is very rude and ignorant. Furthermore, it's very disgusting to eat in an unclean environment, the tables were neglected, along with the dirty dishes overflowing at the return doc. However, when I asked for something to wipe my own table off the staff was in total disrespect and blandly ignored my request. At the prices they charge you would expect to at least have the curtsey of the paid staff! The board of health should have a pop in visit! read more

If zero stars were an option, I'd give it. For a new location, you'd think they'd try harder to provide decent customer service. Not only was an $8 salad(no meat) wilted, slimy and all the core pieces of lettuce, it made my sister sick and they didn't give us the bread we ordered. We tried to return it to get our money back, and Jess seemed annoyed he actually had to do any work, and didn't want to give us a full refund. He was rude and eventually through a piece of bread through the drive-thru window, that went past me in the driver's seat and hit my sister in the passenger seat! My sister and I went inside and there was more bread-throwing and Todd came around the corner, got about 5 inches from my sister's face and he was screaming at her. She put her hand up in front of her own face, because Todd(who did not even bother to ask what the problem was) was screaming at my sister and spitting on her. He kept telling my sister to hit him. "Come on, I WANT you to hit me!!!" He was yelling. She told him she wasn't going to hit him, but he was spitting on her and put her hand up to ask him to stop. Jess threw the bread at me so hard inside the store this time, it went past me and landed near the door. (No baseball career for Jess) They kept saying they were going to call the police and we told them to go ahead. It was a nightmare. Panera used to be a place with good food and service with a smile. Not this one. I don't think they got the memo. What a vile crew Jess and Todd make. I can't believe they still have their jobs. I've been in customer service for more than 30 years and it would never occur to me to throw anything at a customer, spit on a customer, or have a generally bad attitude all the way around, let alone SCREAM at a customer. read more

This may be one of the worst Panera's I've been to. It's up the street from where I work, so I was going out of convenience. Not a good idea. Their attention to detail is dismal at best. My orders have been wrong multiple times. I tried online ordering and delivery too and they were also wrong. It's like they just ignore the order information. One of the worst Paneras I've ever been to. I waited in the bathroom for 15 minutes while a worker sat in the stall and talked on her phone while the other stall was "Out of Order." She came out like there was no issue. After the restroom issue, we ordered bagels and cream cheese. After ordering, a different worker Rai Rai, decided she was going to give us different bagel flavors than what we ordered. We had to correct her then ask for Cinnamon crunch to be in separate bags than the everything bagels. (Common sense) We ordered a tub of cream cheese, she told us $2.99, but the screen said $3.17. Took her 15 minutes to realize they had no cream cheese. She said she had to get a manager for a refund, 5 minutes later came back with no manager. Rummaged through the drawers for another 4 minutes and came back with 4 small cream cheeses. OVER IT. Worst panera experience ever. Beautiful new store though. read more

I have always been a HUGE Panera bread fan and when they put one across the street from my work I was thrilled. The first time I went over and ordered to go, I waited 30 minutes for my food!!! Almost my entire lunch break!! Today a co worker and I decided to do rapid pick up to avoid that. One of our other co-workers wanted just a small bowl of soup, no additives, no sides.. nothing. Our rapid pick up was ready but the one small bowl of soup took 20 minutes! That isn't all! We get back to our office and quickly eat since our lunch break was pretty much over and we're missing a sandwich we paid for! I called the store and they did offer for us to pick up a new one or they can refund us. Going to pick up a sandwich wasn't an option since we have to get back to work. I asked if they could deliver and they told me they're too backed up in deliveries to deliver. This place needs to get it together!!!! read more
