Do yourself a favor and just don't go here. The ambience feels dated, the staff is low energy, and the food was just plain awful. I think the chicken may have been bad and the Chinese wonton soup smells like wet dog, and tastes just as bad. Seriously, I can't recall one time in years where I have actually had to spit the food out. I can't articulate (without taking another bite) about why it is so bad, it just is, and I'm the guy that can eat anything. I would go and complain to the staff and management, but I can tell it would fall on deaf ears... I just can not with this place. Last time we went the lady at the register was a hot mess. Not ready to be on her own and the girl next to her couldn't have cared less and didn't even acknowledge that she was struggling. Today I decided to order delivery (for the 3rd time) I live 5 minutes from the restaurant. I get the email 25 minutes ago that the delivery is out.... same story last time. Literally an hour after I placed the order. This place is not worth an hour wait for some soup and a sandwich. It's gonna be the last order we place there. I will NEVER spend a dime at this place. The manager us condescending and rude. I ordered delivery, using my panara app. But unfortunately the wrong order was delivered to my kids. When I called the manager, he said they had just "that day" launched a new system. His system said the order delivered was correct, eventhough my app said what I ordered and PAID for was not what my kids received. He NEVER apologized for the mistake and charged me AGAIN to get what I ACTUALLY ordered the FIRST time... so $46 later, my kids finally got their mac and cheese and chicken tortellini alfredo. Have been coming here off and on for the last 1 1/2 years. Have not had pleasant customer service from the senior-aged male cashier. Ate here yesterday around 1 pm because we were running errands in the area. Soups were lukewarm at best. Worse than that was the uncleanliness of the entire restaurant. Wish I had taken a pic. Dishes stacked 10 plates high in the bussing area. The staff just kept stacking them until finally a young female server took them to the kitchen. (She seemed like the only one working the floor in the back area and was a good worker.) Dirty tables, food and paper on the floors, and cold soup make for an unpleasant meal. This place is nice, clean and has a ton of tables. Good for a large group to meet or just couples. The cashier Daniel was very helpful, really friendly & professional. I enjoyed my french onion soup, ceasar salad is okay. The baked goods all looked amazing. I'll have to test them out on my next visit. I did have a bite of the cinnamon crunch bagel. Delicious. My first time here with my wife for lunch. The only other Panera I have been to is in Allen. This location is larger but the food and service seem to be the same. Good quality salads and sandwiches. We like the kiosk ordering system. When we have gone here at lunch time the line can be long. The kiosk is quick and easy. Good job on the design of this system! We stopped here because McAlisters was closed for renovation. It turned out to be a very good alternative! We will be back. read more

This is my favorite Panera location - especially because of the service I receive from Patti and Rachel. Earlier this summer I signed up for the daily coffee and I absolutely LOVE that they did this! Every day after dropping my daughter off at school, I place an order for curbside pick up. Not only is the coffee hot every time I pick it up, but I love the service I receive as well. My favorite part of going to this location is the smiling faces of Patti and Rachel. These two ladies are AMAZING! One morning I ordered a soufflé, but found out that it was out of stock when I got to the restaurant to pick up my order. Patti personally came out to let me know and asked if there was anything else she could get me. She quickly went back inside and made a special breakfast for me. Depending on the day, either Patti or Rachel will come deliver my order with a smiling face, a sincere hello, a friendly wave goodbye, and say "have a great day!". I LOVE coming to this location because of them. They make my morning EVERY day. Highly recommend them and this location. read more

Meal could have been great, but sadly failed. Had the turkey bacon brava on baguette. The baguette was terrible; what should have been a thin, crunchy outside and soft inside was tough throughout. Difficult to bite thru and chew. They are on their way to pricing themselves out of business. I'm willing to pay for quality, but quality and quantity are both lacking. $11 or $12 for a small sandwich is way overpriced. The "Bowl" (large) soup is served in a huge bowl that's filled 1/3 full. A nice variety on the menu. I normally try different items on the menu. my daughter finds the Panera card good for free food. Normally no issues with our order. On a recent visit my wife noticed her salad was in a dirty bowl -the manager took care of this issue off the bill and gave us our to go order for free. Hadn't been to a Panera in years, but glad I found this one today. Had a good coffee, half Turkey and artichoke panini, cup of creamy tomato soup, and took a delicious crunchy Cinnimon scone home all for under $13. The panini was juicy and I'm deff going back for more soup. I have generally met friends here for a quick, light lunch and only just now I'm revieiing Panera. Firstly, the menu is easy to navigate. Secondly, the coffee is hot, good selection and plentiful. Finally, when I have something special to ask, the folks taking the order or filling the order are extremely accommodating. Atmosphere always comfortable - not too cold and not too warm which means a lot when you are comfortable. I always run cold and can't stand shivering in the excessive AC during a warm Texas summer. Never a problem at Panera at this Eldorado and Central Expressway location. Soup tasty. Bread (whole wheat baguette) fabulous.
