The back side of the sandwich. Not grilled at all.
    Eric S.

I went after work and ordered three soup and sandwich meals. I received my food and the bag was taped closed. I peaked in and really couldn't make out what was in the bag. I got home and the Kicking grilled cheese sandwich was missing. I drove back, showed my receipt and the manager was nice about providing me a kicking grilled cheese. He instructed someone behind the counter, the same young woman who bagged up my order the first time. After a few minutes she let me know my sandwich was ready. I got home and found that she gave me a microwaved cheese sandwich. The bread is like rubber on the outside and soggy on the inside. I tried the sandwich and am just disappointed in what I received. The resturant was clean. And the soup and tea taste amazing.

That is what's advertised but NOT what you get

I was very disappointed in the Smokey Buffalo chicken melt sandwich that I got. I would have liked to get one of the sandwiches in the picture but insted what I got was mostly bread Unlike the picture, there was absolutely no chicken that could be seen hanging outside of the bread. There was some chicken on it and cheese and sauce, but there's only a little of it inside a massive baguette. I was on a short lunch break and did not get a picture, but I go to Panera ALL the time and this total waste of money

I had a horrible experience at the Panera Bread on East 56th. I ordered $80 worth of food, about 5 meals. First issue was, I specifically asked the cashier to make my sandwich to go, and the chicken teriyaki bowl to go, a d the rest for dine in. Well, they swapped it. The chicken teriyaki bowl was in a bowl on a tray and so was my sandwich, the dining in items were all wrapped to go instead of on a tray. Second issue, I finally arrived at the airport to tear into my sandwich and it was not even sliced in half. It's too big for that and I don't have a knife since I'm at the airport. It would have been nice to share it with my son,but doing the whole, " I take a bite, then you take a bite" wasn't going to work. Third issue and most important is that ordered a bbq chicken smokehouse sandwich and I believe it's one of the more expensive sandwiches, and what I'm eating write now is some pesto sauce deli turkey sandwich with little-to-no-meat and a bunch of soggy lettuce and two sliced of tomatoes for a 12" sandwich. It's all bread! They jipped me on the meat! Look at the photo. Panera you can do better than this! Train up a "teen" in the way that they should go, and....""

I just started working nearby and decided to try the 8.99 per month coffee club. I like the convenience and rapid pickup, but recently I have been grounds in the bottom of my cup. Service is fast and friendly. They could do a lot better with social distancing people crowd around rapid pickup, checkout and coffee. They do offer curbside pickup, but prefer not to do it for just a cup of coffee

"I sent my son to pick up our saturday evening meal and it was horrible." I purchased the goddess greek salad and 2 sausage and peperoni flat bread pizzas. Pizzas were cold , the salad was not good it was mediocre. and there was a piece of broken off bread just laying in the bottom of the bag not properly wrapped up. Ill never go back there. this was our first time trying them out. I should of checked out reviews for them here first. I would also not recommend them to anyone. this was the fort harrison location."

I ordered a dozen bagels. I went to go pick up my bagels at the counter and the cashier just handed me a big bag. The cashier told me that they didn't have any bagel containers. They also didn't give me my receipt; and they had the nerve to ask me for a tip when I paid for my order.

Literally tomatoes, greens, sauce and cheese...

I ordered the caprese chicken melt and they didn't even put the chicken on it. Absolutely ridiculous

For me, Jockamo remains a solid entry in Indy pizza scene. It's a place I look forward to visiting, but I'm unlikely to ever consider it one of Indy's best. For those who don't yet know, this location is in the Fort Ben area in one of the office buildings. It's on the ground floor and faces East 56th Street. It is right across the parking lot from a Tru by Hilton. Jockamo is locally owned. There are locations in Irvington and Greenwood in addition to this one. All the locations tend to have a slightly hipster vibe with a warm, hospitable decor and friendly customer service. On this day, I arrived shortly after their 11am open for a quick lunch. I typically get a "build your own" option here - it's nearly always a 10" pepperoni pizza and my usual unsweetened iced tea. I eat for about $15. I will occasionally get breadsticks, though I didn't today. Today, I was basically told I could sit where I wanted. I picked a comfy 4-top near a window. This building was fairly new when opened a bit over ten years ago. So, unlike most of Fort Ben there are not really accessibility issues. That said, a couple of the parking spots are not ADA compliant and that always leaves me asking "Why?" There are a couple of truly ADA compliant spots. I have definitely had occasions when I passed by Jockamo because accessible parking as not available. They serve up the usual selection at all three locations including a wide variety of pizza options easily customized, a variety of appetizers, beer/wine, salads, sandwiches, a lunch special menu, and more. Vegetarians can easily get by here - My sense is that Vegans can, but I won't swear to it. I ordered my usual. The pepperoni pizza was good with ample toppings that were generous without being decadent. The crust was nicely crisped, though not burnt. Again, this is not my favorite Indy pizza. However, I consistently like it. I think where Jockamo tends to excel is in customer service and that was also top-notch today. Jockamo offers free Wi-Fi. They also carry local art work AND give 100% of the proceeds (cash only) to the artist. I love that. During warmer months, they do have outside dining options. They also have a bar area that is not kid-friendly. The rest of the dining room is family friendly. I still prefer this location. Irvington is the original - it's got a great vibe, but I'm just a Fort Ben dude. I like this spot and I love this area. During the week, they also have lunch specials that are awesome including slice options. I'm not around Fort Ben during the week as I work downtown, but I really like the specials and go for them when I can. Good pizza. Great people. An environment that is warm and welcoming. Ten years later, I still love Jockamo.

I decided to try something a little different and ordered the Fish Gyro. The Fish Gyro was a great choice! The fish itself (which seemed like a perfectly fried whiting or similar white fish) was hand-battered, crispy, and well-seasoned. It wasn't overly greasy, and the portion was generous, making for a very hearty wrap. The pita bread was soft and warm, and they loaded it up with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The real star, as with any great Halal spot, was the White Sauce--it was creamy, tangy, and brought all the flavors together perfectly. I wanted to add the Hot Sauce but they were out. So I didn't get the full street food sizzle experience. This is a typical quick-service spot--nothing fancy, but clean and efficient. My order was ready fairly fast. It's a great place for a quick, filling takeout lunch or a casual dine-in experience. If you're in the area and looking for a halal meal that's a step above typical fast food, NYC Halal Eats is a great stop. While the chicken/lamb platters might be their most popular items, don't sleep on the Fish Gyro--it's a delicious alternative that hit the spot! I'll definitely be back to try their falafel.

It has been over ten years since my original review of Fort Ben Pub, a locally owned pub and grill…read moretype establishment located in the Fort Ben area in the same strip center that includes Moo & Lou's Ice Cream and Phaya Thai. There's a wheelchair ramp in the middle of the building - I'll be honest, I don't quite trust it as I've noticed people in this parking area tend to block it without noticing it. There's also easy access from a ramp at the end of the building. Lawrence has done quite a bit to improve their curb cuts in this area, an area that has grown massively since my last review including 2-3 apartment buildings, a library branch, and an improved civic plaza. Fort Ben Pub itself is pretty accessible, though it becomes less so when it's packed (for example, my most recent visit was on a Friday karaoke night and accessibility was definitely more limited). There's two glass doors going inside the pub and, yes, they do offer a few tables on the sidewalk for outside dining. As you enter, you arrive in a large dining area with a beautiful bar to the right. The restaurant is decorated in warm woods with a few televisions of varying sizes and, on this evening, background music playing. On this visit, I was with a festival after-party that was placed off the main area in a smaller area that had two pool tables along with a variety of food/appetizers, etc. It's a cozy room that gave me a chance to check out the rest of the building. I did see the restrooms, which I would definitely not consider accessible - plan accordingly. I could possibly get in the door of the men's restroom, but it was quite tight and I have a smaller chair. This is a beloved place for a friend of mine who lives nearby and within walking distance. They treat her well. She was there during this visit, and I honestly just smiled at their clear affection for her (it's mutual). I love places that become community, and knowing this makes me want to return. That said, my accessibility concerns do somewhat limit my options. Fort Ben Pub does offer space for private events/groups and does catering. They have pool tables, Putt Putt live, Mega Touch, and Golden Tee and most of the sports network channels. While I'd tried both their tenderloin and burger in the past, I had a variety of items this time around due to the after-party, though not everything it seems was on the menu (or I'm just not recognizing it). As I noted previously and my friend also proves, the employees are super friendly and helpful. There are definitely times when it gets busy, though it's also pretty easy to come here during slower times. This particular visit was the first time I'd experienced accessibility issues. There's an awful lot to love here. I have to say that while I wasn't in the room with karaoke, the people were having a blast with such sincere enthusiasm that I was almost in awe. I've done karaoke one time in my life, and I don't think there's enough alcohol in the world to fuel another attempt. I also know from being close to the folks at Moo & Lou that these businesses watch out for each other - which I really like as it's a nice little safety factor. In the end, my star rating isn't changing but my appreciation for Fort Ben Pub has grown. This visit made me want to return in the near future, and it made me grateful for those places where you can get so comfortable that it feels like the people become part of your village. That's Fort Ben Pub.
