The service and food is delicious i come into the store mostly because it's so close to my home am waiting for the weekend to go get lunch

This Penn station location is a hit or miss. Workers are always nice and professional but sandwiches are either not made correctly, fries are undercooked, and/or they take a very long time to complete your order even if you order ahead. I have not returned after I received a sandwich with undercooked bacon and black burnt turkey meat which probably was caused by cooking on a not clean grill. I hope to try again in the future to see if they have improved but I am skeptical. read more

I went in to order a kids meal but was told they didn't have one. I ordered from a different location earlier in the week. Despite not being able to get a kids meal, I was greeted when I walked in. I asked if they could clean the grill before making my veggie sandwich and was accommodated. I waited a little longer to get my food and a group after me received their order before me. I'd give zero stars if it was an option. Ordered a cheesesteak with extra meat cheese, onion, mushrooms and banana peppers. I didn't get the extra meat or cheese and in fact didn't get any cheese. Paid $4 extra and didn't get it. Sorry for the lady behind the grill, having to do her job, that she can't even do. No banana peppers or mushrooms either. On first glance I thought the location was closed for the night as the "Open" sign was no longer on, but we tried the door anyway. It was open. All the staff greeted us and readily took our order. The were friendly and prompt with our service. The store was kinda messy due to having areas taped off due to COVID. All the open areas were clean. If I could rate this location as a zero, I certainly would do that. Upon entering the building we were greeted but it went downhill from there. 2 people working and one with zero personality. Body language and demeanor spoke volumes. After waiting for quite some time, she finally comes over and takes my order as if she could careless if the planet exploded. After a few misses in the conversation about the order, I finally gave up on my order and let me son place a order. This Penn-station is disgusting. My order continues to be incorrect and they have new managers which apparently seem to be confused. My last visit on 02-05-2022 my order was completely wrong, I asked for a refund and she stated I needed to come back. I told her I will not be coming back for a refund and this is inconvenient. I had given up on this location over a year ago when I went in the the staff was making sandwiches with no gloves or utensils. I had contacted cooperate and was told that the person that was doing it was the manager and he was one of the best employees they had. With that type of response I stopped going. Well my son begged to go back. I gave in. To my surprise the entire staff has changed! . The staff is friendly and use the gloves and utensils. I've been there on several occasions and received good service, but today the service was very slow. The customers looked board and irritated while waiting on their food. It takes longer than expected for food to be prepared. It seems calling in serves no purpose because you still have to wait a decent amount of time to even get your order. If you are lucky "cash register Deshaun" will be on staff when you visit, to ensure your order is correct and you leave with your desired condiments. I know it's a chain. I know there are better local options. But... not that much better. I've rarely had a disappointing sandwich at any Penn Station. For me, the difference between so many of these sandwich shops is the non-food stuff. This was my first visit to this location and I was pretty pleased. The staff was very friendly, even beyond the traditional (and now common) "Welcome" that gets shouted at each person who walks in. My food was fresh, hot and ready quickly. My only complaint was that they had no seating that wasn't bolted to the floor and very tight to the table. Even the bar stools were very close. So if you wear a 2xl (or bigger) shirt, you'll be very uncomfortable dining in. While I was here it was pretty empty. Most of the orders were "to go". I wondered if these guests had been here before and knew the situation. read more

While I enjoy Penn Station, I will not visit the one on Pendleton Pike again. Quality of the food is poor. Order the veggie sandwich and they got it wrong.Then told I have to drive back with the sandwich to prove they messed up!
