I don't have a lot to say about Panera generally. They're all usually a four or so -- good food, adequate atmosphere, typically clean. All of these attributes were true of this location as well, but our service was a little iffy. My husband requested cups for water and we filled them with water, but realized later (upon looking at the receipt) that we were charged for 2 sodas. To make matters worse, my parents were visiting from out of town and they were charged for a coffee they didn't order. I got the half sandwich and cup of soup option. Both were good, but the half sandwich was the smallest half sandwich I have ever seen. In fact, it was about three-quarters of the size of my mom's half sandwich. I didn't feel like complaining about my sandwich not being of adequate size, but it wasn't quite right. I felt like I got a little end piece that they were trying to use up. So, yeah, it was fine, but not my best ever Panera experience. read more

This location is convenient, but the service here is pretty spotty. I've been multiple times and it is always hit or miss from the workers and their performance, though I will admit that my food orders are always correct and I've never had a problem with that. This Panera is a hot spot for downtown employees. I sincerely recommend ordering ahead if you're in the mood for a Pick 2 between noon and 1 Monday through Friday. The team does the best they can to get orders ready in a timely fashion, but don't expect and in-and-out experience, especially if there's a conference in town. Always was a Panera fan but last few times their portions are getting skimpier while their prices are not. This applies to all Panera locations that I've been to in my travels. Seems to be a corporate edict to cut down portions to save money. Just ordered a Chicken BBQ sandwich with literally one and a half very small pieces of chicken. Not the first time. Every single time I go through Traders Pointe Panera I'm never given the correct food, dressing for salad or none, chip with a salad instead of a baguette need I go on. The workers called us to get our orders by our names.this was my first experience at Panera, and I would go back in a heartbeat. Don't get me wrong, this store clearly gets hit hard during lunch rush. The lines are out the front door every single day. Which is why, when we go, try to get there around 11:30 which means we get there before it hits. But that doesn't mean we're safe. Every time, between our two meals, at least one thing is wrong. Last time, I didn't have any croutons. Time before that, they forgot to remove onions. Etc etc. And this is before the line really starts backing up. It's always something small that's wrong that just bums us out, but we always come back. The best part of this store is absolutely the staff. They go out of their way to make your meal right and they'll go out of their way to do it. One time the soda machine was out of Pepsi, which we mentioned in passing to one of the guys handing out food. He came to our table five minutes later with a can of Pepsi, telling us the machine had been having problems. The staff is a five, but the service is a two. read more

Everything looks delicious on the website..but not so much in real life. When I walked in, the staff looked frantic and ready to go home. It was ten minutes to closing, and as I passed one of the Panera associates I overheard her say to another associate, "We bout to close..." Then, another associate yelled out- "That's the last order!" Which was fine for me, however I wondered if they absolutely had to close at 7pm on one of the busiest nights of the winter season... College football brings out a different sort of crowd- young, old, crazy, and hangry. As I stood making my order I noticed them turn away at least ten people. With that, Donna was outstanding with her service! I don't know your life, Panera. I do know that possibly not offering overtime would really suck especially for busy nights like that....buuuuuut, moving on (cuz IDK!!!!) Ordering was easy, looking at the total on the register was not. $19 for pasta and a half salad. GIRRRRL I could have bought so much taco meat with $19! Anyway, I did enjoy the flavorful juice beverages offered to the right of the counter. Lots of tea and things, to help you have an amazing day. I didn't, however, enjoy anything about that watered down scary chicken on top, alfredo tortellini. I love food, can't you tell! And, it saddens me when I waltz up in a place (excited) only to be handed something from my 6th grade cafeteria nightmares. Now, I will say I've had soup here and its really good. It's just something about that pasta and watery alfredo sauce with chicken shreds on top that doesn't do it for me. I know that Panera believes in clean eating, and I think we all could use better food ingredients so that's cool. The entire meal would have been a lot better with more robust flavors, herbs, spices going on fused with a bit more TLC. If you're here with USA volleyball this week - avoid!avoid!avoid! They are not prepared for the large numbers and are not in any hurry to correct their inadequacies. We just waited 55 minutes for our 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich, soup, and 1/2 chicken sandwich... went to ask about our order to be told that it wasn't even in their system.... then watched them slowly prepare it/warm it up bc it had been sitting there with zero apologies or urgency. I had the mini cheese biscuits on an early Sat. morning. The good thing about this place is, it's the only store open super early in the area. Go to this location for quick and polite service. I am not a huge fan of the Panera chain. The food taste and size is only ok for the price. You can get a lot better meals downtown in the same $10 - $12 price range. But if you want a place that you can get to from the indoor tunnels and be in and out quickly, this is a good option. It's Panera - soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. You know the drill. Normally, I wouldn't be inclined to leave a review at a chain such as this, but I feel I need to because their rapid pick-up is a thing of beauty! I've probably used their online ordering portal a half dozen times now, and each time my order has been waiting for me at the kiosk in the store at the designated time. Even more importantly, the order has been correct! This is AMAZING during the lunch rush, as their lines get long and the counter service is notoriously slow. Plus, if you join MyPanera (their rewards programs) you get emails about deals - there's a $2 off a You Pick Two email that I get monthly, if not more often. Definitely do not recommend for dine in, as it's taken over 20 minutes waiting at the counter to get my food during lunch, but for grab and go downtown, this is your place! read more

Panera is panera is panera. The tomato soup is my favorite and while it lasts during the summer, the strawberry salad is fantastic. Every restaurant should adopt putting calories on the menu, it certainly makes a difference sometimes when deciding on what to get. For breakfast, the cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese cannot be beat. I also recommend the beacon egg and cheese on an asiago cheese bagel. read more

When I checked in to order, the cashier was pretty unfriendly. She did ask my choice of bread or if you wanted to pastry for $99. She almost forgot to ask what side I wanted. She did not give me the buzzer for when my food was ready. Also, a little bit disappointed because the to go portions are smaller than the dine in portions. I found this location while staying in a hotel about five minutes away. We walked in and were greeted and informed that they could take our order whenever we were ready. I ordered the egg white, turkey sausage and cheese sandwich which also came with spinach and tomato. I was able to substitute roasted tomato for the regular slice at no extra charge. I also ordered a caramel latte. The latte was ready within minutes and very good; however I believe they missed my sandwich order as I began to notice several people who had ordered after me being served their orders. I went to check on my food and it appeared that they had just begun cooking it and the guy behind the counter apologized for my wait but instead of taking responsibility for missing my order, he stayed that it was taking a while for the egg to cook -__- I would have appreciated the truth a lot better. They must be short staffed. If you are in a hurry, don't come here, especially at lunch or before closing (which is at like 7 pm on weekdays). 3, The location always looks dirty! 4. This is a great location. Probably one of the busiest Panera's I've ever seen. The line was out of the door. But despite how busy it was from a group of some conventioneers, the line moved pretty fast. The staff were super pleasant despite being so overwhelmed. BY far the best Panera I've been to. I like that there are kiosks to help with long lines during the lunch rush and I love that at this location they often bring your food to you. There are two guys that man the dining room, clear tables, bring food, and clean tables. Over the past ten years, every single Panera I've been to from here to Atlanta has always had dirty tables and dirty floors, and not a single person wiping off tables. Not the story here. The two guys who man the dining room are super friendly and seem to really love their jobs which is so refreshing. I was in and out in no time and the food was great. I've only been to this location a few times and every time I go back I am reminded of why I don't come back: their customer service is awful. The workers at this location have a bad attitude from some of them not looking at you while you talk to them so it seems like they're not listening or just taking a longer time than normal to do simple tasks like bagging a pastry to go. I do have to say the cashier today was nice and welcoming though. Also, since I haven't been back in a while I noticed the plastic cup lids are new, but cheaply made and half of them don't stay on.
