    Turkey Wrap

If you find yourself at Indiana University Hospital and need a quick meal, this is a great spot! Sonny's offers pizza by the slice or the whole pizza, made to order deli sandwiches, and they have a case of grab and go sides and salads. Today I ordered a turkey wrap. The meat and veggies were good quality and they did not skimp on the amount. The man that made my sandwich was nice and friendly. The prices are also very reasonable. Helpful hints: When busy, you will see multiple lines. A line to order pizza, a line to order sandwiches, then a line to pay. It is import to confirm with those in line what line you are actually joining. If you have a hard time finding a seat in the cafeteria area, there is outdoor seating and other seating areas closer to the Simon Cancer Center.

Little cafeteria pizza and pasta plus...I enjoyed a generous slice of the deluxe pizza for just a few dollars and it was tasty. They offer pizza by the slice combos with bread sticks and a drink too. They also have bottled beverages and wraps and sandwiches. A good variety for a little place inside Goodman Hall. If you're ever at Goodman Neuroscience Building for an appointment check it out. Or if you need somewhere to grab a quick cup of Joe in the area, they serve coffee as well.

If you love pizza this is one of the best kept secrets of Indy. It's hidden in it's own private area in the basement of Methodist Hospital. Good service !

The same Sonny's that was in Broad Ripple over 15 years ago. Hands down, one of the best slices of pizza you can get. The crust is thin and crispy. The toppings are fresh, and just the right portion of sauce. The salads are nice and their breadsticks are excellent. A must try as a break from the box stores.

This is my go to for lunch each day. I go to the location in the neuro science center multiple times a week. The pizza is fabulous my favorite is the Margherita with ricotta. They don't offer it every day. All pizza is good tho it reminds me of New York style. A few of my favorite specials are the burger and the buffalo chicken wrap. All the specials of the day are on a rotation. I also really enjoy the blackened turkey wrap. With black beans corn tomatoes and a chipotle mayo toasted which is served daily. So many options for a cheaper cost

Looks can be deceiving! Looks toasted, actually stone cold.

This is not much better than a hospital cafeteria. Actually, it has far fewer choices, so unless you like lunch meat, you're out of luck. It's tiny and crowded, and the seating near it is limited, so be aware. My roast beef sandwich came "toasted," which actually meant the ciabbata BREAD was toasted, but none of the ingredients inside. Those were stone cold---the cheese wasn't even melted. Not quite sure how that even happens. So I spent $13 on a cold "toasted" sandwich, a bottle of pop, and a side of fruit. Not great. If I had more time between appointments, I'd have left the hospital for somewhere decent. Lesson learned!

What is this? Such a sad salad.

Not a big deal just something to be aware of, and if you are lucky enough to find a spot near them, it's tight getting in and out so just a side note. Upon walking in it was a pretty long line but again it was lunch time (around noon), so no issues. You order at and then get a number and find a place to sit. They have options to sit inside and out. We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day. The food came pretty quickly which was nice since it was lunch time. I ordered a kale salad which was amazing. My lunch partner had a wrap and she said it was really good. You can tell they are using really top notch ingredients which is good. Pricing is pretty typical for these type of places.

I came right around lunchtime and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't busy at all. I love having no line, quick service, and I was helped immediately. The worker was friendly and walked me through a couple options, like choosing the dressing amount and whether I wanted the bowl tossed. Nice little touch of customization. I also noticed they were offering $5 off if you join their rewards program, so of course I signed up real quick at checkout, I love a good deal! The caramelized garlic steak bowl was a hit. It was a generous portion, fresh, and flavorful. I ended up sharing it with my husband when I dropped it off at his job, and it honestly filled us both up. Inside, the vibe is very chill and clean, perfect for a quick bite. They also have outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your meal outside, but this time we went with takeout. I love that they have fresh ingredients, good portion sizes, and quick, easy service. It's definitely a go-to when you want something healthier but still satisfying.

The prosciutto on top gets nice and crispy, and the balsamic and arugula help the meal feel more elevated. They also have brunch style pizzas. In my opinion, the coffee bar is absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area but don't have the time for a sit down meal. It's always delicious and they have great seasonal flavors. The disclaimers: the mulch area of the outdoor patio is usually self service, so you will need to order at the bar. Anyway, we got the day to ourselves for the first time in forever and chose The Garden Table for brunch. We were immediately sat, and when we requested to sit outside the host was mindful enough to let us know that the only remaining tables were in direct sun. We opted for a table inside. The host gave us our silverware, napkins, and cups and told us our server would be right with us. We sat for about 10-15 minutes and didn't even get as much as eye-contact from any of the servers walking by our table. We caught the hosts attention and he brought us water and said he would take care of us instead. This caught the bartender's/server's attention and I overheard her tell the host she would get our table. Another 5-10 minutes go by and the server still had not came by to take care of us. We were in the middle of deciding if we wanted to leave and she finally came by. No apologies or acknowledgment regarding our wait. We had planned on ordering the juice flight, but they only had two of the nine or so options available, not enough to even order a flight. We ordered two of the juices, the croissant french toast, the chicken pesto wrap, the brunch burger, and a 'bottomless' drip coffee. The wait on the food was what we would expect with how busy it was, and the food was fantastic. No complaints to the kitchen, and it's the only reason we might give this place a second chance. As we were eating, our server came by and checked to see how we were doing, my husband asked for another coffee and I told her that I had got the wrong sauce with my fries. She apologized for the mistake and said she would be back with both the coffee and the aioli. She brought my sauce, we finished eating, but we never got another coffee. She brought us boxes when we were done eating, and my husband left to use the restroom. He came back and we still had not received our check. He went up to the bar where our server was and asked to close our tab. She said she'd come by our table to ring us up. She apologized for not bringing the check sooner and that it was 'hectic' (it was almost three o'clock with maybe four people at the bar and many many open tables). With the exception of the host, everyone on the floor was generally unfriendly and we felt very unimportant. I can't imagine what it would've been like had we gone during the peak time for a brunch place. Very impressed with the food, unfortunately it was overshadowed by the poor service.

Delicious and fresh food, so much fun for the kids, and service was good but a little slow. Only downside is the location. Area is pretty worn down. Food: The pizza is delicious and fresh. Nice chew, a little bit crisp and the great smell of freshly dough. We got the sausage and pepperoni; sausage was better but both were good. The breadsticks were hot and delicious. A little soggy with butter but I mean.. it's butter. Is that bad? Dipping cheese was better than your standard stadium nacho cheese. Chopped salad was very fresh. Not the most interesting but still good. Hot Honey chicken wings were clearly freshly battered and fried. Incredible. Very similar to Korean Fried Chicken. Alcohol: Beer and wine option were good. Could use a couple more wine options. Beer and wine had a great range of styles and prices. Bar looked very well stocked for mixed drinks or drinking neat. Service: Staff was kind and helpful. They could have been slightly more available. The food did take a while longer than I would have expected for it not being that busy. But with how fresh it was, I'm sure it's because they were making it fresh. Ambiance: Tons of space. Ultra family friendly. Board games, yard games, ping pong, fire pits. Awesome! Train tracks across the parking lot were a fun side benefit. Kids loved watching the trains go by. Drinking out of plastic cups wasn't my favorite but I understand why. Location: Next to North Mass Boulder. Not a great part of town but felt safe once you're there. Final thoughts: If you're downtown and have kids, you gotta stop here especially if it's nice outside.
