And I was stupid enough to try again....ordered grilled cheese with tomato and bacon, got something with a type of hot spicy tomato paste on it. Really wha the hell are they doing there. Completely disgusting read more

Worst management and customer service ever. Manager Kim I believe was beyond rude and did little to help me with all her rude employees that forgot half of my meal and made me drive back to the restaurant in absolutely pouring rain. Waited 20+ minutes for new food and then my old food i came home to was cold. never coming back despite being extremely close to my house would rather drive for better service and less bitchy managers read more

I placed an order on their app, the screen at the restaurant showing the order is being prepared then updated to ready. Next it disappeared. No one came out with my order. I seek out some help and the person said "oh we don't have that in stock." Like really, I had to look for someone to tell me that. She sent me to cashier to ask for an alternative item and the cashier acted like he didn't know what I'm taking about. The lack of communication and level of customer service is unacceptable. The brownie was stale and tasteless, I almost choked. I will never return to this location. read more

I am a full time nurse on a psych unit. I am also very pregnant. I was very hungry & went to panera bread on my very short lunch break. The food was absolutely disgusting. I spent over $15 on lunch & was not able to eat my food. Because my break as I said was very short so I had no time to go back. I had to complete my shift & eat once I got home. My salad tasted like dirty grass which almost caused me to vomit. I was very disappointed to say the least. The sandwich was soggy as well. read more

Panera Bread - Chicken noodle soup in bread bowl - Sandwiches Near Me - Hauppauge, New York

I do love the food here and it's quick and easy to order on the app. However, about every other time they're getting my order wrong! I can't tell you how many times I've had to drive back into their itty bitty parking lot that has the tiniest spots and go in and wait for my order to be redone. If you're getting food to go make sure you check what's in the bag is right!! read more

Clean, fast service and very welcoming! I was having a hectic morning and Fabian and Dylan were friendly.

Very rude assistant manager. He told me to sit up straight. He should work as an assistant food preparer until he figures out customer service. Everyone else here is fine. The food is consistently good. read more

Not bad, the same as any other Panera. The staff was friendly enough and our food was made quickly. I wish they had more seating available (and outdoor seating that is easier to access) during the summer months. read more

Come here a lot and never have an issue. Same as any other Panera. Only Panera dish I find disappointing and do not order is the French onion soup. Most the paninis and salads are great, and lately I've been diggin the seasonal butternut squash soup, very delicious! read more

Food was ok but ordered a full sandwich and only got half. Messed up on sides. Quality control terrible, make sure you check your order for takeout before leaving good chance it's not right. read more

I do like going to penera, food is mainly good and with the correct choice it could be very healthy, how ever this penara in Smithtown is the worst managed that I've been in, it's my local one so I tend to go there once or twice a week, consistently have to ask the management for fresh coffee, 2 out of 3 times my orderes are wrong, today the coffee was 1 hour 40 min old and the manager said no we are not making fresh coffee. Shame. read more

This is by far my favorite Panera location! The staff is friendly and my order is usually accurate. They work fast & efficiently, which is great bc I usually come here going to and from work :) read more

Best panera really fast service never a long line... All panera are the same... but i frequent this one since its local to my college ... cool quick place to eat..on the way back from class....only this is small parking lot gets filled fast so ya may have to park a distance ... No biggie when it's nice out ... When it's freezing lol good luck lol read more

Any order placed online is always late, and that's if they update the inventory for online. For some reason this is the location that's out of the basic needs for salad. read more

My favorite sandwich is the chicken Caesar sandwich which unfortunately is no longer on the menu. I contacted customer care via the website and "Danielle" advised me how to request it as a special order. This location so far has been willing to accommodate this request unlike the East Northport location where the manager was extremely rude to me and then ignored my follow up question while she took the next customer. I will take my business to the Hauppauge location. I'm deducting a star only because the parking in front of the restaurant isn't great considering the amount of business they get. read more

I was going to this Panera a lot because I'm in this general area all week; and every time I order something no matter if it's just a beverage or a soup or even a whole meal it takes FOREVER. So I thought "let me do the rapid pick up" no change. I still end up waiting for my food/drink to be ready. So there's no difference ordering online rapid pick up or just going to the counter and ordering. I truly don't understand how this location is SO SLOW. The people behind the counter handling the food stand around, they work like sloths and they would rather socialize then get it moving. I get a 15 minute break everyday and my entire 15 minutes for the passed few weeks has been WAITING against the wall for a damn smoothie. Never again. Also; this is all going on while it's not busy at all! read more

I typically come to this Panera when I have work out East and it always is a pleasure compared to going to Starbucks since the meals are much better and the coffee is on par (although I'm a sucker for the Clover Leaf brews at Starbucks). read more

I will never come to this location again. I walked in at 10:31 to get breakfast and the girl behind the counter told me they only serve breakfast until 1030... are we kidding ??????? read more

Good stuff as far as chains go, and it's pretty conveniently located. Volume comes in waves, so plan accordingly. Grab a seat outside when it's warm weather. read more

Place is empty , service is slow and they ran out of bread...... how does that happen

Food is always outstanding. I have read the CEO's comments about the need to improve "throughput" which is desperately needed. The process of adding self-ordering kiosks and having the order delivered to your table is desireable, even though it will take three years to fully implement. However, I do not want to pay for the upgrade. I was shocked on May 8th to see a new menu board with price increases on virtually every item. A sandwich I buy-tomato/ mozzarella went from $6.69 to $ 6.99 a few months ago. Now it is $7.29. This increase of 50 cents is 8 percent. Other items rose comparably, even small bowls of soup. So we struggle with admitted sub-par throughput but pay more for the privilege. Bye-bye PNRA - hello Chiptole. read more

I was in there earlier this evening, picked up dinner -- it was fast and easy, line wasn't long. Great menu, hard to pick they have so many good things to choose from. Nice location, bakery items also look amazing. Clean environment, efficient staff, and awesome food! read more

I go there every day religiously, I get my egg and bagel and a cup of coffee. The staff is nice and pleasant. The manager Marvin is always so helpful to me and my girlfriend and to his staff. I have never seen him been nasty to anybody. Keep up the good food panero bread you definitely got my vote.. read more

Here is the good: The bread is great (but expensive), the broccoli soup is tasty and the décor is nice. Here is the bad. The food is subpar, IMHO. The chicken and turkey is packaged and it has a very processed flavor to it. To me it's inedible. I ordered a few sandwiches in the past and each time I was disappointed. I've never had a sandwich I really enjoyed. It more like OK it's a sandwich and it's filling me up. One time I got wheat bread and it was too much bread so the sandwich was dry and not very good. The last time I was here I ordered a BLT. The bacon was rubbery since they don't have a grill to crisp the bacon. Rubbery bacon is not appetizing, the tomatoes were orange and they use garnish type lettuce which has no crunch. It was the worst BLT I have ever had in my life. Lets move on to the salads. I wish they had normal dressings. They have all these strange dressings like BBQ ranch. The dressings are either too sweet or have an off flavor. The only dressing I like is the balsamic. It's not bad at all. I ordered a Greek salad and asked for pecans and avocado. I literally was given 5 pecans which adds up to .10 cents a nut since I was charged an extra .50 . The avocado had two little pieces for an extra 1.00. Now when I asked for no turkey on my BLT I was not given a credit. Might sound stupid but if you are charging for extras you should credit for not taking something on your sandwich. There was barely any feta cheese or tomato in the salad. They are getting very stingy with their salads. All in all I ordered 2 picks two's and one loaf of bread and one drink and it cost me 31.00. I really think that the pricing is outrageous for the quality of food they are serving. It's processed food and bagged soups. Nothing but the salad and bread is fresh that I'm aware of. I will stay away from this place. I just can't believe how many people are satisfied with subpar processed food. If Americans stop eating at these bagged food places maybe the corporate giants who only care about profits will re-think how they feed America. read more

First, I ordered a meal for the whole family to go and one of the panini's I had ordered wasn't even in my bag. So we were short one. The manager was sorry and said to come in whenever. It was just inconvenient because I was 20 minutes away. I returned a few weeks later for breakfast thinking I would get the equivalent in credit and I ordered for 3 but the cashier credited me for a bagel sandwich that was $4. I questioned her and asked her 'would you pay almost $9 for a $4 bagel? ' She said she couldn't do anything else. I asked to see the manager after trying to explain I needed a credit that equaled the amount i had paid previously which was their mistake to begin with and was an inconvenience to me. The female manager was not friendly nor was she willingly accommodating in any way. It was like i was inconveniencing her. I was just annoyed that I had to fight for something that was rightfully mine to begin with. I prefer other Paneras to this place that's for sure. They really left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

By far my favorite Panera. Seemingly clean on most to visits (contingent upon how crazy it is) and the food is predictably good. Never had a problem getting a table and I come here with great frequency. I try to grab a seat by the fireplace in the colder months. That being said, inevitably there seems to be at least one screaming/crying child to diminish my concentration. Not sure what can be done about same. Perhaps it's just rude customers who don't have the common courtesy to bring children outside when such situation occur... read more

Great sandwiches & service! Ayanna was pleasant & very helpful. I will be returning to this location!

Great food, but very few gluten free options. Would like to see Panera offer at least one type of gluten free bread.

Hi! I have been visiting it for the past three years. Because of everybody's exceptional care, special attention and heartfelt courtesy, it has become my home like EAT IN KITCHEN. I enjoy the love of everybody more than the food and beverages. Thanks everybody there. Syed Ali read more

I absolutely love Panera but unfortunately this particular store is AWFUL. Management is terrible and some of the staff has no clue what's going on. Franchise owners should look more into their managers. My office orders from them atleast once a week, we fax the order to them atleast an hour in advance since in the past they have told us the order would not be ready in time for when we need it. Most of the time we show up and the order isn't even ready or the order is incorrect. Then When you complain, the "manager" doesn't seem to care much but they'll offer something for free. Personally keep your freebie, get it right the first time! My patience has run out and will be driving alittle further to a different location read more
