I was enjoying the block party in Babylon Village and happened to notice this sandwich shop while strolling by. The customer service was excellent. I asked the cashier several questions about the menu, combo options, and the app, and she was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I ordered the Roast Cubano with hand-cut fries and a soda. The portion was generous and easily large enough to share. The sandwich was flavorful, featuring mustard aioli, pickles, ham, Havarti cheese, and pork. The bread was especially delicious--perfectly toasted, crispy on the outside while still soft on the inside. The fries and dipping sauce weren't my favorite, but the sandwich more than made up for it. Since we had our dog with us and wanted to continue enjoying the festival, we ate outside. The staff even brought our food out to us, which was appreciated. Everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fresh and made with quality ingredients. YAY! This is what Babylon needs - a quick serve sammy spot perfect for lunch, great for kids and something a bit different than current offerings in the village. My friend and I came here with our kiddos today, on opening day. There was a good flow of people and they did a beautiful job of renovating the previous bagel shop. The interior is nice and open with ample seating. We opted for outside as it is a beautiful day and the inside was a little busy plus with strollers we didn't want to take up too much real estate inside on their first day! I ordered the eggplant caprese and they were happy to swap out the burrrata for regular mozz for me (whooohoo!) and I got the kids chicken tenders and fries for my daughter. They took our name and said they'd bring our order out to us. For the price ($15) the panini was large and stuffed with food. The eggplant had a great crisp to it and paired well with the arugula and tomato. Plus, the bread is homemade! A+ for that! It was very filling and honestly 1/2 was perfect for me. I saved the other half for my hubs who also thought it was delicious. My daughter didn't eat much of hers except for the fries, so I saved it for my older kid who demolished it when he got home from school. The fries were good (mom tax!) albeit a bit too salty. They also have chips for sale along with your sandwich choice and a case of drinks like Poppi and JustTea. You can tell the ingredients here are fresh, and the quality is good. My boyfriend and I stopped here right before going to the beach and the food was so good. We got the bacon avocado Cesar salad with sweet potato tots. As well as the chicken vodka sandwich with fries. Both meals were delicious and the sauce with the fries is a MUST try. Sweet potato tots were amazing along with the salad. Recently opened spot in Babylon Village, specializing in Panini's wraps and sandwiches. Buffalo chicken Caesar wrap is a staple, but this time around I tried their Cubano, which I have to say was pretty damn good! It's not a big place to either take out or you can dine in but there's not a ton of seating but they do have open window seating and outdoor seating! Definitely recommend definitely enjoyed. There was so much confusion with my order and I was on a time constraint, I got so frustrated that I put in a complaint via their website. I was so impressed when the manager answered my email immediately and without asking they refunded me and sent me a gift certificate! I was in the Hotel/Restaurant and I was so impressed that this company cared about their reputation and making things right! Yesterday I went in with a few friends to use the gift card and the staff was so accommodating and couldn't have been nicer and the food was fantastic! I had heard about this place when they had other locations across LI, but never got around to checking them out. When they opened in Babylon I gave them a shot and wow is the hype deserved. I've tried the vodka chicken sandwich, the roast beef, the cheesesteak and the plain chicken cutlet. Each one has surpassed expectations and they don't miss.
