The space: this deli is super clean and well organized. They also have a fresh salad bar where you can get custom salads. They also have ready made salads prepared for convenience. The guys behind the counter were super nice. They also offered me to sample one of their hot soups while I waited. I tried their sweet potato curry which was really nice. Now let's get to the gobbler. I tried it exactly how they make it without any alterations because I wanted to see what their combo was about. I will be back but I'm making a couple changes. I tried the sandwich hot (which is how they serve it) and cold. Hot it was okay, but I really like it cold. Cold I feel like I can taste the combo of all the flavors better. So I definitely will come back the next time I'm in the mood for a sandwich. The Deli also shares space with an ice cream shop, so you can always grab some dessert on your way out. To reiterate, Bitterman's is a hidden gem where the proprietor Joe is a serious barbeque afficianado with a keen craftsmanship approach to cooking spectacular BBQ. My wife picked us up some carryout last night which is their bread and butter (they have a few small tables almost like a deli inside). Holding with my previous experience the food was absolutely incredible. We lucked out going later towards close where Joe "loaded up" the BBQ where a tri-fecta turned into a quad-fecta LOL. The Mac and cheese was top notch and their cornbread always moist never dry with their signature pineapple flavor infusion.
