I am so happy i finally got to try peach & pine! Stopped in on a Saturday at 1 and this shop was pretty busy! It's absolutely adorable inside, I love all the prints and plants. Staff was super friendly and informative, there was people in the back working on a custom cake and it looked beautiful. Everything we had was delicious & im excited to come back!

Cinnamon roll, lemon blueberry scone, almond croissant

Not bad but after trying I don't understand the hype. I think for Vegans it is a slam dunk. If not vegan, might as well stick with regular bakeries. The lemon blueberry scone was the best item and tasted great. Croissant filling was good but the pastry part was too crispy for my liking and took a lot to reach the filling part. Cinnamon rolls are one of my favorite treats and this one fell short. I tasted banana in it, I'm assuming they likely use it as a binder since it is a vegan bakery. Would go if I needed vegan food, would not go back if vegan was not needed. Friendly service, clean place, expensive prices.

Unbelievable! The selection, the flavors! Had to limit myself to only 2 pastries the plum danish and apple croissant. Both were baked to absolute perfection and the flavors were top notch. Took me a good while to decide on what to get because obviously wanted one of each. Also got a latte. Unlike many places that sell you a large latte that tastes like a glass of milk with flavor and a hint of coffee, the latte here was also perfection. A truly pronounced espresso flavor under a layer of oat milk. Staff were very friendly and offered to help explain any menu items or options if I had questions once they noticed my eyes bulging and jaw dropped to floor, drooling. Service was very prompt. Prices are as expected, not Dunkin' Donuts prices. But very fair. I'm happy to pay for perfection. Didn't post what I actually ate cuz licked that box clean (box pastries came in). An absolute must stop.

I wrote in my last review that I would dream of the next time I visit Peach & Pine. Not only did that dream came true but reality matched what I had been hoping for. How often does that happen? Once again, I will be dreaming of the next time I can visit.

Super friendly staff and AMAZING pastries/coffee!! Such a cute little place even though the line was out the door it was well worth the wait

an absolute gem in st james! just a block away from the lirr station, this place delivers the most unique and amazing pastries, both savory and sweet. it's all vegan too! I ordered: becspk croissant: 10/10 (!!!) pistachio brioche roll (9.5/10) I usually don't order savory croissants but the becspk was extraordinary. flaky, buttery, and packed with flavor, it's a must get. pop it in the microwave for 10-15 and it's even better. the pistachio brioche roll was amazing, creamy with a hint of cinnamon taste and crunchy with the pistachios (highly recommend)! there's unfortunately no indoor seating, but they have some tables and benches outside. it definitely gets crowded and they always sell out early, make sure to get there before noon to secure some yummy goodies!

This small bakery is a not so hidden gem!! After trying their caramel apple and raspberry pistachio croissants, I get why there is a line out the door. I got there right at opening at 10am and waited about 20 minutes. They are some of the BEST croissants I've ever had, with a generous amount of filling and a perfect flakey, buttery texture. I liked the raspberry pistachio croissant the most as it wasn't overly sweet. The croissants are massive and definitely what caught my eye when choosing what to get. They don't have any indoor seating but they do have a couple of picnic tables outside. There is a small parking lot behind the bakery which was a plus. I will be going back and trying some of the other pastries that they have!

Vegan friends, this one's for you. Peach & Pine in St. James drops a weekly menu (Fri-Sun only) and people literally wait 45 min because stuff sells out. Rainy day perk = no line for me. Croissant? Surprisingly good for vegan laminated, flaky, tasty. Pistachio roll stole the show, peach crumble tart was meh, tiramisu + apple scone were ok. Everything scone was different , not something I would crave. My take: if you're vegan, you'll be obsessed. If you're not, pastries are decent but not life changing. Vibes? Lovely staff, great service, and those cakes look insane. Beautiful decor.

Finally got to try Peach & Pine food truck this past weekend as I was on Long Island visiting a friend! They were parked at Secatogue Brewery in West Islip and I got to try so many things from their menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. For savory food- we got two orders of wings (BBQ and Nashville hot) and both were sugar-cane-bone-in with a crispy coating. The Nashville hot were coated in a spicy dry rub and served with a spicy sauce on the side. The BBQ was a wet sauce served with one of the tastiest vegan ranch I've ever had. We got two orders of p'ork dumplings (because they were THAT good), an order of metal fries and the mother clucker which was crispy, spicy and had a well balanced slaw. Even my non-vegan husband couldn't stop raving about the food. For desserts we had the cap'n corn cookies which were my favorite mix of sweet and salty and the cookies were perfectly chewy, just how they should be. We also tried the rainbow scone which tasted like funfetti birthday cake and the dark chocolate chip cream pie which had huge chunks of dark chocolate chips, flaky sea salt and a creamy marshmallow fluff filling- all were an EXCELLENT balance of salty and sweet. However, the show stopper by far was the key lime pie. My husband and I usually don't go for pies, but this was truly outstanding. The filling texture was perfect and unctuous, the merengue was fluffy and lightly toasted and it was truly a wonderful balance of sour and sweet. I think my favorite part was the brown sugar graham crumbles which added a crunchy texture to the pie. The truck itself is super adorable and there were only two people who were running it (short staffed) to a packed brewery and the entire time they were so sweet and friendly. They did their absolute best to get fresh, made to order food out to lots of customers and it was entirely worth the wait. If Peach & Pine cafe is ever parked anywhere near you it is a must try!!

So yummy!!! Thank you for adding on a gluten free option. Delicious vegan food. You will love even if you are not vegan. Wonderful friendly staff too! Make sure you check them out. Look at their website for weekly events.

Mother Clucker & P & P pizza rolls

I'm from vegas and OMG. Anything you order from Peach & Pine you will be happy with. When someone who isn't plant based eats something that is, you know it's good when they say "even I enjoy this". All the items are made from scratch, so the items that you order are not something you can get or replicate. This is what I look for when I go out to eat and is hard to find. I tried peach and pine my first day in NY and my whole trip I was just wanting more I'm back home and wish there was peach and pine here. Hands down the at top of my list of the best vegan food I've ever had since going plant based. (2012) I wish I could had tried everything on the menu lol. Mother clucker: I don't even know what to say. Crunchy goodness heaven? Lol even the coleslaw had me shook. Like it's just Cole slaw ridiculously delish. P&P pizza rolls : omg like how Fried Mac & chz: fire. Dark chocolate chip cream pie cookie : so good!!!!! Cap'n corn cookies: yummy

I've been meaning to try this place for so long! I've been following on Instagram and looking at all of their delicious pictures week after week. We decided to come down to the betterman distillery in patchogue, which seems to be their usual spot on Sundays. It worked out great, because the better man distillery doesn't start serving food until after 3pm. We ordered the hot lil biscuit and the mother clucker. I just have to say my husband is not vegan and he really really enjoyed the food. The mother clucker had a nice crunch to it and it complimented very well with the slaw, everything seasoned perfectly. But the star of the menu was definitely the lil hot biscuit. I could probably eat like 10 in one sitting. The biscuit itself was seasoned in such a way that had enough heat to it without being too hot. The vegan egg combined with the caramelized onion confit and arugula..... to die for!!!! I can't say enough good things about how delicious everything was. I obviously had to try a desert and although em everything was mostly sold out we tried a dark chocolate chip cream pie, which was amazing! If you are vegan and looking for delicious vegan food, this is the place to come. And if you're not vegan and looking to convince some non veggie friends, this is the place to visit! Can't praise them Enough! I will be back!

From the moment we walked in, everyone was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality remained consistent throughout the entire visit. We started with appetizers. The meatball was absolutely delicious sauce and perfectly seasoned and impressively large. The crab meat topped artichoke was hands down the most delicious artichoke I've ever had. It was a flattened artichoke topped generously with crab meat, and the flavors were outstanding. For pasta, we ordered the Bolognese and the penne alla vodka. The Bolognese wasn't your typical red sauce -- it was more of a rich brown meats sauce, unique and incredibly flavorful. The penne alla vodka was outstanding, made with fresh pasta and a perfectly balanced sauce. For our entrées, we had the chicken parmesan and the veal chop. The chicken parmesan featured fresh, tender chicken topped with delicious mozzarella, and the sauce was out of this world. The veal chop, served in a delicious mushroom sauce, was cooked perfectly and is a dish I would highly recommend. To finish, we had pistachio gelato and a blood orange sorbet (a special that evening). Both desserts were amazing and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The service was impeccable -- our waitress Shanna was amazing, attentive, and friendly plus helpful. We were given a cozy table, and even the bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked with washcloths to dry your hands. There's truly nothing negative to say. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

The seating area is very small so I would recommend making one just in case. The indoor is beautiful. Everything was clean and looked new. We pretty much split everything, 3 apps and 3 pastas. The best app was the risotto (technically a side) and the beets with feta. The 2 best pastas were the gnocchi and the corn-corn pasta is not the proper name but I can't remember what it's actually called! The service was fast, on point and helpful the entire time. This is one of those places that would be for a special occasion because it's expensive but the experience is worth it.

That describes the last time I was at Nappi's Nook, over two years ago. Flash forward to this morning and we're looking at an update that shows a much different experience this time around. You see that first time at Nappi's was not long after they had opened. Kinks were definitely still being worked out and at the time, I just couldn't see it as a place worth choosing over other breakfast spots. But seeing reviews, awards, and that the place was still standing years later led my wife and I to come check them out again. This second time around we snagged a table (they definitely get crowded quickly) and had some very friendly service from our waitress. Things started with their Nappicinos which were a huge misfire that first time, but a definite improvement today. My wife got the Biscoff variety while I got the Peanut butter cup and boy were they tasty. A good balance of coffee and sweet flavors. Now when it came to food, last time I went with chicken and waffles which (from pics) still seemed like something I might enjoy more elsewhere and so instead, I landed on The Stove Top Skillet. This was a combo of onions, peppers, potatoes, sausage, cheese, and over easy eggs. It came out piping hot and it was honestly impressive in how it tasted. I liked the thinly sliced sausage coins and although the pepper pieces were a little massive, they were soft enough with everything mixing together nicely. As for the wife, she went with a special in the form of the hash omelette which was exactly as it sounded with Swiss cheese and paprika hollandaise sauce on top along with breakfast potatoes on the side. I tried it and it was pretty tasty as well. One last item we chose to order was a single beignet for $2.50 as a side option. Sometimes we're just not feeling a full sweet breakfast, but this little fried ball filled with chocolate did the trick. Was it comparable to Cafe Du Monde? No way, but it was still quality. Honestly, the whole meal was quality and definitely several steps up from that first round a few years back. The only true gripe I can give is the soundtrack to Nappi's. The music, a touch louder than one might think at 9 in the morning, was a little too trance/dance/club for the vibe of breakfast. Maybe on a Sunday for a boozy brunch, but perhaps some music changes would create a little more of a "Nook" feel. Perhaps? Overall though, I'm really very impressed and glad to have given Nappi's Nook a second shot. It may have taken some time for that to happen, but it showed that this place was the real deal because it was still around, and winning Best of LI awards in the meantime. Perhaps a place to get to on the earlier side, but for sure a location I know I will be returning to for round three much sooner than expected.
