The desserts were great. I do think they are sweeter than I tend to like but that is a my own personal preference. It's impressive how they are able to create these tasty treats. I really enjoyed the rainbow cookie as many have mentions on their reviews and I also really enjoyed the carrot cake. The place is small but looks very clean and seems to have a spacious kitchen. Honestly one of, if not, the best gluten free bakery I've ever been too. All of their pastries are amazing and the staff is great whether it be in person or over the phone when I make a last minute order. Every single time I go to visit friends I bring an apple pie and theirs is my go too whenever it comes to GF pies. I will definitely always come here read more

Wow, this is rainbow cookie heaven!! Rainbow cookies are my absolute favorite sweet treat and after becoming vegan I didn't think I'd get to have them again. I've had some decent ones from other places but, seriously, these are LEGIT!! I also recommend the petit fours, the brownies, fruit crumbles, and black and white cookies! The staff here is lovely and funny and so welcoming. This is a place worth a long drive to visit. Last time we went we ordered every rainbow cookie they had left without hesitation. I am in a committed, long-term emotional relationship with the brownies from this vegan bakery. These are not "good for vegan" brownies. These are not "surprisingly good" brownies. These are the best brownies I have ever eaten, period, and I say that as someone who has eaten many brownies in many states of mind. The center is intensely fudgy with tiny chocolate chips like it's showing off, and then layered with two thin sheets of frosting that feel frankly excessive in the best possible way. I have rearranged my month around buying these. I go once a month not to browse, not to "see what's new," but to stock up like a person who has learned something important about survival. Because the brownies have such a gravitational pull, it took me a while to branch out--but every time I do, I'm annoyed at myself for waiting. The double chocolate biscotti is rich, deeply chocolatey, and somehow not dry (which feels like sorcery). The rainbow cookies are absolute perfection. Balanced, almondy, exactly what you want them to be. And the carrot cake? Moist, perfectly spiced, and genuinely excellent in a quiet, confident way that doesn't need to scream for attention because it knows it's right. The staff is warm and friendly. This place doesn't just sell baked goods. It creates fixations. Go here. Eat the brownies. Stock up. Adjust your life accordingly. read more

The best gluten free bakery to exist. WOW. I've tried a few things that they package and sell in other stores such as Cornucopia in Sayville. Those are decent, but never encouraged me to take the long drive to the bakery location. A friend stopped by while in the area and grabbed me a cake slice. It was so phenomenal I couldn't believe it to be gluten free. I would now definitely make the trip out here myself for a special treat! read more

My GF is GF. Stopped in on Saturday morning to try some pastries out. Do not sleep in the lemon bars. Really a delicious snack, regardless of your gluten tolerance. I mean this thing was really good. Also had the cherry danish- could be a bit sweeter, maybe a bit more salt too, but I would definitely get it again. The pastry was flakier than I would have expected. GF loved the rainbow cookie crumb cake. Biggest takeaway: would go back and would eat Lemon Bars whether my GF GF is there or not. read more

I love their allergy friendly products. One of the things I miss most since finding out I have celiac is rainbow cookies. I've had gluten free rainbow cookies from other businesses but they fall apart and the texture isn't right. These rainbow cookies are delicious. Flavor and texture are great! Very small store front but is the best vegan dessert place on the island, in my opinion. My favorite is that 'dark chocolate covered rainbow cookie mousse cake' in the upper right corner. I absolutely love that there is a vegan bakery on Long Island! My absolute favorite is the seven layer cookies but everything else was good, too. One downfall of vegan bakeries is adding more sugar where there needs to be a bit more smooth creaminess but it is all good and vegan so it's hard to complain too much. I was able to pick up a whole birthday cake without pre-ordering, which was pretty good! read more

She said those two tacos were not included. I said to her, "You told me they were!?" She repeated "No they weren't" and she called someone from behind the counter over to the table. The situation was explained, the other person repeated "Sorry sir, they are not included" and didn't care that their waitress said they were (the waitress admitted she said that!) and they charged me full price despite the misinformation they gave me. No apology, no doing the right thing, nothing. I paid the bill, left, and have not been back. In summation: The food was so-so. The service was not good. The attitude was poor. Their seasonal items have been a hit. This visit I picked up some savory food as well - I'd eat 100 of the beef & plantain empanadas. The staff is so helpful and honest, without being pushy. They make suggestions and don't rush anyone. Besides the food, my favorite thing about the bakery is that they are supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. There is decor of a flag and pride knickknacks that always make me smile. It's important to know everyone is welcome and supported. If I had one criticism, it's that I wish it was a little cheaper. Eating gluten free is always so expensive. I know the labor is intensive and the products are pricier, but sometimes it would be nice to pay "regular" prices. Overall, this place is a win. I suggest it to anyone with celiac or a gluten intolerance.

The cupcake was so delicious and I love that they included a layer of jelly in the cupcake itself. The cookie on top was such a nice addition as well. Super moist and super flavorful. The red velvet was also super tasty but the cake was a tad bit dry, but that's fine. The cream cheese frosting was stellar and the slice was decently big and could be split by two easily. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Lots of options, and super clean. Would absolutely recommend and will be coming back.

The negative reviews are kind of funny because of what people are complaining about. One guy went here to get coffee? No, this is not the place to get coffee, walk in the door and see that, it's not what they do. I don't think they even have an espresso machine here. I do have to admit that Park Bake shop does do breads and bagels but they are not very good. I tried once or twice because they looked good but the taste just isn't there. But what they do well is cookies, cakes, and pastries. Pretty much anything in the cases are excellent. All the cookies are awesome, always fresh, and all reasonably priced. I love Park Bake shop and will continue to come here often!

The girl at the counter was also super helpful and knew exactly what they were selling and helped me choose what would work for me. Now that I have experienced this place I will return. The hours they are open should work for anyone. The cupcakes were a big hit and they were so good I considered it a very fair value. From the minute I walked and seen the presentation up front and got a glimpse of the operation in the back I knew I was in an experienced bakery. Seeing the assortment, I would say to order for an occasion or I may even stop in just to get a single treat for my self or bring home desert for the family.
