While I am a huge fan of Panera, I would NEVER recommend this location.I have been a total of four times & never had a positive experience. You will never wait less than about 15 min for your order ( no matter the size). My order is usually either wrong or missing something. If I get a toasted sandwich the bread is BURNT. While ordering chicken, the meat was purple. While ordering an avocado sandwich, I got one half piece of avocado. If you order a bakery item from the kiosk don't expect to ever receive it. They are always out of lids, certain sizes of drinks, and straws. Sadly, I would not recommend this location, take the drive to the Woodstock Panera instead! read more

Panera I had such high hopes for you to be my Sunday AM place to be. This is my second time coming here on a Sunday and it's been nothing but disappointment. The first time I came, I waited for almost ten minutes and then when I went to pick up the manager fussed at me because he had called my name but I did not hear him over the loud music. When I checked my order it was missing the cream cheese. Second time checking in. Ordered a soufflé and was told they were sold out. Then went to pick up my order and again it was missing a. Item. It's like the right hand does not communicate with the left hand. I want Panera to be successful but the constant mistakes and lack of warm personalities working make this place in danger of becoming a ghost town because it cannot meet small town expectations. read more

Had a order delivered to me. It was missing an item along with straws and cutlery. I tried to call location multiple times but no one ever answer the phone at this location. Breakfast sandwich was ordered with extra egg white and they just replaced regular eggs with the egg white. AWFUL AWFUL LOCATION! Wish I could rate a ZERO! First of all, whoever is "managing" this location doesn't deserve the job. The whole operation is a joke. Secondly, most apathetic crew of part time employees I've ever seen. Lazy, slow, careless. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've gone to this location there has been a problem. I was so excited to have this location in Canton, and it's been nothing but a giant disaster. Staff does not care. You can walk right out the door and they still get paid; makes no difference to them. Management not present. Is there any management? On the drive through, terribly long waits. Orders are wrong. Inside, long lines. One person at the register on a Saturday at lunch. And that person at the register was SO SLOW she was telling people on line to go use the self service kiosks. I tried the kiosk, but after putting in our entire order, the card reader was broken. I asked for help, and another staff member appeared from behind the scenes (had she been on break? She wasn't manning the registers, so who knows) but I got shrugs and "I don't know what to do, so you'll have to stand on line". At one point, she suggested she might be able to take my entire order verbally and ring me up ahead of the line, but I refused to cut in front of the other customers who had been standing there as long as I was. It didn't seem fair. Another kiosk was totally broken. People were getting angry. We left and went to Subway. Another time, I had ordered on the drive thru and got all the way home before realizing the whole order was wrong. I went back, and had to stand on line inside to have it fixed. I was never even offered an apology, or so much as a coupon, or explanation. I think of the mom & pop stores, the privately owned small businesses where people depend on success to feed their families. But in this corporate environment, nobody has to care. The Panera will survive, buoyed by its well known name. Small family-owned businesses can't rely on corporate name recognition and financial support from a giant home office. A family owned restaurant, like the nearby RCB in Canton, CARES about its customers. Meals are served quickly and properly made. A FAMILY depends on that success. If they make a mistake, they make it right. I guarantee you there was no manager present today at Panera Canton, or if there was, he/she was cooped up in a back office surfing the Internet while a line of impatient and hungry customers waited for one slow checkout employee to funnel their orders through. A manager like this doesn't deserve the job. I think of Chick Fil A, who does a VERY high volume of business. Yet, always smiling, always friendly, always clean, ready to serve. Because management makes certain that guests are being taken care of. If the drive thru line gets long, young personnel are dispatched with hand held registers to take orders at car windows. Orders are accurate, and meals are served efficiently. Even on the busiest of days. Because it's their corporate culture to exceed customer expectations. I wonder what Panera's mission statement is. "To serve SOME of the customers, but mostly just punch a time card because we're getting paid anyway and our name is famous so we don't have to care?" I should have gone to RCB and had Shelley wrap us a sandwich to go. I should have gone to Chick Fil A where I know I'll be treated with a smile, and served the correct order in a timely fashion. Instead, I made my last trip to Canton Panera. I know they don't care, but I do. Someday, maybe their poor service will catch up with them, but by then I'll be patronizing a better establishment. Ordered You Pick 2 with one of the new baguette sandwiches. Menu on wall said price was $9.40. No explanation from cashier. Husband ordered same. Total for lunch was over $35! When we went back up to cashier she said that these sandwiches aren't included in You Pick 2! So we were charged $9.40 each for the sandwich and about $5 each for the soup! Wow! Ordered Chile lime salad and wife ordered Asian salad and soup. Couldn't finish salad as it was drenched in dressing, lettuce was not fresh, and the chicken was very dry with no flavor! Visited Panera Canton today. Both my husband and I had the 10 vegetable soup. Looked like and tasted like a can of mixed vegetables had been mixed into an extremely salty broth. My husband also had half salad which was not the best. On a previous visit we ordered the Fuji Apple Salad and they left the Fuji apples off and the salad greens were not good. We have had salads etc. in other Panera locations and they have been very good. This location the food seems different. read more

Don't waste your time or money. I was so excited to be working close by to a Panera as it is one of my favorites. Because I work so close, I've given in many chances by now. If you plan to use the drive thru, expect long wait times (even if you are the only one in line), your order to be wrong (even after you correct them at the window), and rude service (had an employee ask me why I didn't drive off yet... because I haven't gotten my food, just a drink). I was charged for two bagels last week and after being told they charged me for the wrong order, they didn't offer a refund and only gave me one bagel. Today I corrected my whole order placed in the drive thru at the window and I still got the wrong bagel. Like come on, whats a girl got to do to get a blueberry bagel? It is not that hard. read more

I usually like Panera Bread but the past few times they have gone downhill fast. Me and my wife got salads to go. 25% of the lettuce was old and had spots on it. It could have been mold. Came in during a busy Sunday lunch. The service was fast, delightful, and delicious! Staff brings food to your table and even takes your plate when you are done, unlike most Panera's. Paneras employees are treated like shit. If youve ever taken the time to listen in to how they are treated or what they say its not hard to conclude the managment is the issue. Workers are ignored or treated less then human and paid like shit. Managment runs rapid with power and control only looking for their own greedy incoms. Employees are forced to work past their times and are told that basically their personal problems aint shit. Anything that goes wrong is placed on the shoulders of the staff mind you half if not most of this staff is like 16+. Overall this panera location is shit and the management makes it that much worse for employees. I'm a former Panera employee (Kennesaw location) and I LOVE this location. I come here frequently with my in laws for a "girly lunch" and I love it. This is a bit of a newer location, so the inside is more up-to-date than others. The outside seating near the water fountain is so luxurious. For a new location, this is a poorly managed restaurant. It's either a lack of management or enough workers. I have been here twice this week and they can't toast a bagel and get it to you without asking. There is only one person working the register with no one to help. I'd give one but the bagel was ok and this was a nice place. But I don't think there is anyone in charge here and that is the problem. Have been a big fan of Panera Bread in Canton, GA for years. However, the service and supply of certain foods has dropped off since Covid. For example, Tuesday's they have a special on Cinnamon Bagels which is outstanding. However, they seem to run out so quickly which leads me to think they are preparing or inventorying less. I've been by at 11:30 AM, 10:15 AM and today 8:55 AM. Guess what, they ran out. Today was the 4th of July and there was 4 cars in the parking lot and no one in the drive up? Hmmm, sounds very suspicious that the special is now a ploy to get you into the store and purchase a full priced item. As for the food, you get smaller portions of soups, especially in the bread bowls and the salads seem less as well. It's no wonder they are getting terrible ratings with an average of 2.5. As a member of their happy customer club or should I say FORMER MEMBER as I'll never go into the store again. I wish them good luck but your current policies are going to doom this store. read more

Horrible customer service. Yesterday I ordered a bagel with soup, and the first two bagels I wanted were "out of stock". I settled on a scone instead. My husband ordered just a coffee based on our already frustrating experience. While dining, we observed customers come and go with the same issues. The attendants did not seem to care that they were out of nearly everything. The worst incident was when what sounded like a repeat customer came in to pick up an order for her office staff. It appears that she ordered on the app in advance and was advised (via the app) that her order was ready. Her bagels were nowhere to be found, and the attendants basically acted like they didn't care. During this time, an extremely large order was being sent out from the kitchen for a catering event. (We were pretty sure we figured out what happened to her bagels.) One young lady was trying to be very helpful, and she found just enough bagels on the top shelf in the kitchen to fill the order. My husband and I then saw the manager throw the bagels in a box and then throw the box across the counter at the customer. The manager then mouthed what appeared to be an obscenity at the customer as she was walking out. It was the most horrible customer service experience we have witnessed in a downtown Canton dining establishment. All of our other dining experiences in downtown Canton have been fantastic. We don't see longevity in the future of this Panera Bread. read more

I have been to this Panera many times and something is always wrong or missing from my curbside orders. When you call back to tell them items are missing they are extremely rude. A couple of weeks ago, I bought several sandwiches for my childs teachers, I ordered curbside and then called to ask to bag them separately because they were going to separate places. When I arrived the manager came outside in a huff and said they will never bag food separately again. They don't mark the food in anyway so you know which sandwich is what, so you are just expected to unwrap everything to find your order. Not very customer friendly and definitely not office/group order friendly. If you get a customized drink, don't expect it to be correct at all. read more

I've been coming to this Panera every week since it opened with a group. At first it was so great. The food was always delicious and the staff went above and beyond. It's been progressively getting worse. Multiple times I've found hair in my food, been given dirty silverware, and had items left off my order. They are almost always out of some items on the menu. Almost every week someone in our group is told the item they ordered is no longer in stock. This time I was served a grilled cheese that was lightly toasted on the outside and the cheese wasn't even melted on the inside. It was barely even warm. I've had this at different locations and it was delicious. I'm paying around $15 for a meal and I don't even enjoy the food. I was so excited for this Panera to open. I love the atmosphere and location but it is no longer worth the money. read more

This is the worst Panera Bread ever! I waited 20 minutes for a bagel and pizza and our device never buzzed. So after 20 minutes, we walk up to the counter to see our food as well as my friends just sitting there. I made a comment to the manager saying, I hope our food is still hot since it's just been sitting. He told me they were just put out. So we took our food back to the table to find the pizza cold as well as the bagel. We went back up the window to tell them we waited over 20 minutes and received cold food. The manager then rudely told us, he was calling out our names for the order but due to the fact that the restaurant we could not hear him. I told him our buzzers never buzzed, then he just walked away. Like why give us buzzers if you're not going to page them and if we weren't coming up for the food then why didn't an employee come and try to find the customers. I don't eat out much but, when I do, I hope to have a great meal. I'm paying a LOT more to eat out than I would pay for a home-prepared meal. In this case, I only went because I had a gift card so I didn't REALLY pay for most of it (but someone did). I have NO complaints about the facility, or the staff, or the quality of the food. My complaint is wholly about the quantity/value (and one other issue). We got 2 salads, and they filled about 1/4 of the containers they came in. Why make the containers so big if you won't fill them?? Oh - and I kind of expect a place like Panera to be a little more eco-conscious. FAR too much plastic being used, here. We sat at the mic for over 5 minutes and no one came on so we drove up to the window and sat for another 5 min before someone came. I truly wish I could have given them zero stars. I arrived at 7:00PM with my family looking forward to a delicious dinner; however, this was far from my experience. It was truly unfortunate to be met with completely soulless employees. After ordering and paying for our food, they informed us one of the soups we ordered was no longer available; so we were forced to substitute it for a different one. Twenty minutes after receiving two of our meals, we were still left waiting for four other dishes as well as coffee beverages. We advised the person bringing us the food of this situation. Shortly she brought one of the four coffees and we asked which one it was to which she responded "I don't know, you'll have to ask the people making the food." Needless to say we finished our meal, and our coffees were still nowhere to be found, which left us completely bewildered as to what was taking them so long. Were these magic coffee beans? After a period of being upset over the complete lack of service, I decided enough was enough and went to get my refund for the missing beverages which was the end of our experience. The most disgusting thing happened September 1, 2020, Tuesday morning. I was sitting in a booth when this young man came from the back of the store. He had food in his hand. It seemed like he threw himself in the booth. Just a minute or two later a young lady who works there went up to where he was sitting and nicely told him he needed to clock out. The young man wasn't happy, and told he was just trying to take his break. The young lady repeated what she had told him. He got out of the booth and was unhappily telling her he just wanted to take his break. He was standing right in front of me, and his mouth was crammed with food as he was incoherently expressing his unhappiness. I looked up at him when he kept ranting, having to see all his chewed food right at his lips. Disgusting. He went to the back for a minute, came back to the booth, throwing all his weight in the booth. When I got ready to look I passed his booth which was right where I needed to leave my plate, and the booth and seat were full of crumbs. AND...not only all of this, but the booth he was I was one that was clearly marked that it wasn't one to sit all. I sure lost my appetite. This kid had no respect for his co-worker and me. I did a curbside order for an iced coffee and had my boyfriend pick it up for me on his way home. First off, it wasn't even the correct sized drink. I ordered a large and didn't get that. I added customizations to the drink and none of them were added. It was just coffee (no milk or anything I added) and it had stuff floating in it. read more
