My mouth is watering just thinking about Panera Bread. I went to my first one in New York and was STOKED to find out that there was one near where I live. I always get the italian combo. I love that you can choose your side: apple, bread, or chips. Its fresh and fast. Its a little overpriced but its totally worth it in my opinion. This location is nice. Its right off of 280 and has a large parking lot. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Sometimes they forget to put pepperocinis on my sandwich but besides that its PERFECT. My 4 stars are not for the food at Panera's. Across the board, I find that Panera's food is a little too salty (the soups) or sweet (breakfast items) for my taste. But, I am in love with this location because I can sit here for hours on end, do my work using the free wifi, drink free refills of coffee and no one will bother me. ever. also, they have cute little nooks that I can sit and snuggle in. And, if I need to take a break, I can just go across the parking lot and take a stroll in Kohl's or the Bed Bath & Beyond next door. read more

I've been going to this panera most mornings for a while now and have always had such a great experience. I like the food but normally don't eat breakfast and mostly just stop for my latte. I've been meaning to write a review for a little bit now and am finally getting around to it - the reason I feel the need to write the review is really because of the service I get here. Everyone is always super friendly and they always greet me with a smile and a "Welcome". One girl in particular (I think her name is Maritza) is great! She remembers my name and my drink (sugar free and all!) - when she see's me coming she often orders my drink before I have a chance to. I don't give out a ton of 5-star ratings so when I do, it's got to be extraordinary. The food at this Panera is the same as all other Paneras. It's good food. You get what you expect. Kinda fancy fast food-ish... how do you categorize Panera anyway? It's really good, half-way healthy food with decent music. It's like Starbucks meets french bistro meets bicycle messenger in a cross-fit gym. Better? No? Ok... I digress... So this particular Panera has Nany. The employees here were nothing short of awesome. I notice this a lot more when I'm rollin' with my 8-year-old daughter... single Dads always notice when you're nice to their kid, FYI... So when we stepped to the counter and ordered, Nany was employee we got. She was on it from the get-go. She recommended I pick something different, an item that was made more recently and she was on the money. I had the new Thai chicken salad and broccoli soup. It was fantastic. My daughter had the kids mac n' cheese that's actually homemade and delicious. We ordered our drinks and upon discovering that I was active-duty military, Nany gave us the fountain drinks free of charge. She also threw in a free cookie for my kiddo and I really hope I'm not getting her in trouble at this point! Needless to say, Nany should be employee of the year. She's smart and cheerful and super helpful. Free WiFi is another super draw to Panera. Especially when you're on the road and constantly seeking wifi like a cockroach seeks heat... or a hobo seeks a hotdog. It's safe to say that my experience at Panera would have been a solid 3-star experience. A good, safe choice for dinner. Probably one of the biggest and most renovated Panera buildings I've seen among the chains! It made me excited before I even walked through the doors. Looking inside, it looks like your typical Panera Bread chain. You got your cashiers, coffee dispensers, and various bread types at the cashwraps to the right of the entrance. You got your many booths and tables to the left. Bathrooms all the way to the back. I pretty much have memorized the place since I study at Panera all the time; I might as well work here as a tour guide, haha. The cashier was nice and friendly. I ordered my usual "Caramel Latte" and he asked if I wanted it for-here or to-go. I said for-here because I had to study, but I was sad that they didn't put it in a cute mug like they do at my hometown Panera. Instead, they put it in a recyclable cup. Also, for small drinks, they don't deliver to you but you have to pick it up at the back. When you order food, it's nice that they do deliver it to your table though. So they do little things differently here versus my hometown Panera chain in Cupertino, but the service and food quality is not at all bad here. However, there needs to be a busser here (or if they have one, they should be working harder) because most of the tables I encountered had crumbs everywhere or a clutter of dishes to prevent new customers from sitting down. I purposely avoided one spacious table that I wanted to sit at because nobody had picked up the dishes after 10 minutes of them collecting dust. If you're supposed to bus your own tables, then my bad and disregard this comment. Overall, love the atmosphere of this Panera chain. I'd come again if I were in this area more often. read more

This location is my favorite out of all the other ones; monterey, cupertino, coleman. Whenever I go to the other ones I say "the one on hamilton tastes better" I don't know why but this location just makes it better! I use to work just 5 minutes away from this location and I'd come here for lunch 2 out of 3 days. I always order the signature you pick two, Chiptole Chicken sandwich and Chicken Caesar salad. The chiptole chicken sandwich is really flavorful and the caesar dressing for the salad is my favorite caesar dressing from anywhere. read more

I ordered a bacon tomato grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of creamy tomato soup. I barely tasted any bacon or cheese in the sandwich and felt like I was mostly eating bread. I get that Panera Bread is obviously known for bread but there should have been a lot more bacon and cheese in that sandwich. Everything was clean and my good was delivered to my table. The reason for my less than stellar review was the salt laden soup. It should be labeled Salt chicken tortilla soup, not Southwest .... I really hate to send food back, and if I had time I would have, but this was salty beyond any standard. And when I logged the meal it clocks in a freaking almost 1700mcg of flipping sodium. WTF Panera that's 75% of the recommended allowance for sodium pair that with your salad and you're done. My company ordered lunch from Panera Bread because our Executives were in the office. I tried the half smoked turkey and half bacon turkey bravo, caesar salad and oatmeal raisin cookie. I can't really complain because it was free but I will. The sandwich and salad were just ok. Honestly, I could have made a better sandwich at home, which is what I typically eat. 2 stars. I love Panera, but every time I ask for them to omit something like the tomatoes and onions from my salad they get it wrong. Today I left with a salad with tomatoes, but no cheese. I feel cheated! It's also very obvious that they have the A team on in the mornings. I'm usually a 5 star rater but Panera always seems to disappoint when it comes to ordering a sandwich with enough meat to cover the entire sandwich! I really like the BBQ chicken flat bread sandwich. I will even order it asking for extra chicken which they charge for, and that's fine IF they would actually add more chicken! I dont think I have a good enough idea of what this whole place is about, seeing as I have only had regular coffee and a salad and a piece of their bread, but here goes for my one experience. The place was clean and pleasant. The service was EXCELLENT- very friendly, smiles everywhere. I was taken back by this. The regular coffee is GREAT- a variety of fresh (the time the coffee was brewed is indicated on each pot), good quality java is offered. I ordered the BBQ chicken chopped salad. It was very yummy w/ a creamy bbq dressing- they put alot of dressing on the salad though so beware of that. The piece of French bread was very good that came w the salad. My biggest complaint was the loud elevator-ish music playing. read more

Love Panera bread! I've had most of the things on the menu and everything has been delicious. The food come out fast and staff is nice. I wouldn't recommend it to people with severe food allergies. Raised prices and lowered quality! Horrible food. The Mac and cheese is nothing like it used to be it was watered down, runny, flavorless, and conviniently almost $3 more expensive. The "flatbread" is hard and has the same consistency as cardboard. It appeared there was only one person in the kitchen and she was also the only runner to bring food out. So it took over 20 minutes to get one You pick Two that costed $16. This is the third horrible panera experience I have had in a row and I am done! I cannot overstate how great this place was when I went last weekend. The service was probably the best I can recall in recent memory. Oscar the cashier was extremely polite and friendly. I'm confined to walking with crutches for now. Seeing that, he offered to bring my food to the table for me; I wasn't even treated that well at the hospital cafeteria. My girlfriend, a vegetarian, asked about the broccoli and cheese soup. He knew not only that it wasn't vegetarian, but also why. (It has a beef base, for the record). I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I hate tomatoes, but this was the only food I've ever thought they actually belonged in. Panera in Campbell has really gone DOWNHILL. At the office we use to love their sandwiches. Now when we go there the sandwiches are soggy so much so that I saw a thumb had gone through the top piece of my bread today. They seem to just throw the sandwich together anymore. There is no care given to presentation. Perhaps all the rush in making my sandwich is due to the amount of ?catering? sandwiches being made while my sandwich is being made as well? The chipotle mayo is sooo watered down. This didn't use to be so. The sandwiches USED to be the bomb. Now no matter when I go there is no care shown what so ever. The workers don't speak enough English to communicate that your order is ready. Today they didn't even hand me a buzzer. Who ever they fired or sold this location to, shame on them all. Panera Bread is very similar to Le Boulanger, and I liked the food here. I got the French Onion Soup which was really good, and the Thai Chicken Salad, also good. It was the half and half combo, which comes with a side of either apple, bread, or... I forgot the third option. But anyway the food was good, it came out fast, service was friendly, etc etc. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator music playing in the restaurant... if they played better music it would help the atmosphere a lot, I think. read more

I've not been to this Panera in awhile due to poor service and quality but this location is super convenient and figured I'd give it a shot. Bad idea! Bad service and poor quality of food. Ordered via the app - super convenient. Arrived a few minutes after pickup time to find my name wasn't on the board. I asked a couple employees if they even had my order but English was not working and that was all I had to offer. Finally snagged someone that could help. She had my order and went to pull the items. Checked the bag. Everything was there. Took off and got to where I needed to be. Taking the food - soufflés - out of the bag and then the box to discover they were not even warm. Damn - need to pop them in the oven, but a starving person didn't want to wait and with no knife or fork bit into one of the ham soufflés to find what appeared to be a lump of cut up lunch meat in the middle and hard lump of shredded cheese stuck together. Yuck! The spinach bacon were ok once heated but the pastry was not the same as freshly made. What was left of ham one and ham two (untouched) where tossed in the trash. This place just opened up. I had never heard of it before, but was driving by the other night with my best friend. She had heard good things, so I decided to try it today. I am glad I did. Of course, the first thing on the menu that jumped out at me was the Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a bread bowl (which is available every day of the week). I was excited to try it. I was also excited to learn that I go a free side item of my choice (chips, apple or a portion of a baguette) with my order. I went with the chips. The guy taking my order was totally friendly. The atmosphere is very akin to a Le Boulanger. You place your order, and when it is ready they call your number or you get one of those little vibrating light-up dealies. It was fairly crowded, but I didn't wait for very long (5 minutes or so). The soup was fine (not the best I've ever had, but certainly not bad by any means), but I was a tad disappointed by the actual bowl of bread. The crust was very hard, so I really didn't even try to eat it, and eating the bowl is one of the things I love about the whole bread bowl experience. However, I was quite pleased with the whole experience, and I look forward to going back and trying other menu items. They have a whole slew of coffee and tea; they have breakfast items like bagels and egg souffles; they have pizza; they have salads; they have sandwiches; and of course, they have plenty of bread. There are a couple of things that really stick out to me about the business aside from the food: they support charities and they are very health conscious. They have a program called Operation Dough-Nation that helps out the community by matching part of the cash donations that are made in the cafes and then they donate that money to charities like hunger relief organizations and they also donate all unsold bread at the end of the day. I think that's pretty darn cool. They have a special menu that is all about eating healthy, and they offer the menu to help you make meal choices that will work with whatever nutritional goals you have in mind. I like that, as well. All in all, I think this is a place I will wind up frequenting in the future! read more
