The service is pretty fast and friendly but they're constantly trying to upsell. It's a bit annoying and takes a long time to just order a burger. The food itself is pretty good. We got the double cheeseburger combo for $14 and the salad with chicken. Both were well cooked and well seasoned. I'll definitely go back soon. read more

I used to be a big fan of Burger Lounge, especially because of all of their vegetarian-friendly menu items. But this place went MAHA in the last few months and now cooks their fries in beef tallow. I'm not fully vegetarian, but I don't eat red meat, so BL was historically a solid choice, especially in a group of multicultural friends. They have impossible burgers, turkey burgers, and chicken sandwiches. But it's kind of pointless going to a burger restaurant if you can't eat the fries. I hope they listen to their actual customers, and adopt a more apolitical approach to food in the future. read more

It was our first time at the physical Burger Lounge location at the Pruneyard. We ALWAYS order from here on DoorDash and are obsessed! The service today was wonderful and the employee who helped us was super kind and attentive. I ordered a lounge burger without the thousand island dressing and a side of fries. Having tried this place, I advise others to avoid it. -The food was bland and outrageously expensive. The burger I received was about the size of a slider, the patty was so small you couldn't taste it through the bun & lettuce, and it was more expensive than other places charge for a full 1-lb patty burger. -The service was bad. They got my order wrong the first time, acted offended at having to make a new one, slammed that new one down on the table and walked away, and they got the new one wrong as well. And this was the only order they had going at the time. -The interior of the restaurant was freezing cold. All of those factors combined make Burger Lounge at the Pruneyard a rip-off. I came for their happy hour because I've passed by this place so many times and I saw that they have happy hour every weekday from 12 PM - 5 PM. They should call their happy hour menu the 5 hour $5 because there's a handful of items during those 5 hours that are for $5 which is an amazing deal. I didn't have high expectations going into this because I've seen the other reviews that kind of scared me a bit but I figured there couldn't be that much to lose with $5. I ordered the original burger and the half and half which is half fries and half onion rings. I was surprised at how good the burger was and it's a really good deal for 50% off! I'm not sure I would pay full price for the burger since it's missing lettuce and tomatoes, but I don't mind paying $5 for it. The fries and onion rings were pretty good as well. ~~Parking: The restaurant is located inside the Pruneyard so depending on the time you come it can be quite difficult to find parking. ~~Service: It took a while for them to make the burgers and I was a bit sad that my burger and fries came out at different times because I want to enjoy them together but if one's already in front of me I'll start eating that first. I'm kind of shocked at the bad reviews! This was the first time I went to this location and it was so incredible, I've been wanting to go back like everyday to get another burger. I got 2 lounge burgers, 2 orders of half fries half onion rings (didn't realize I ordered 2 when ordering online. Two people could split an order, but didn't mind having my own!) for a total of $36. I thought it was expensive but then I ate the burger and fries and onion rings and fell in love. We came after the Valentines fun run on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered online and drove 5 minutes, parked, went in and my order was ready. So fast! There was no one inside eating when I was picking up food at that time and parking was easy to find. They also have craft soda which I want to get next time! It's not too big on the inside but there is seating. We took ours to go & ate it in bed, although next time I may eat it in the car or there so it's hot n fresh). The lounge burger was so amazing, tasted so fresh and quality ingredients. It was a good hefty size but I didn't feel weighed down after eating it. It wasn't greasy at all. Same goes for the fries n onion rings. Non greasy and both equally delish!! I would like to share an unpleasant experience with the reception staff member with long hair today. He spoke to customers in a very cold and commanding tone, including repeatedly telling me to "take a seat" while I was waiting for my takeout order. I understand he may have wanted to keep the area clear, but the way he communicated was not polite or professional. Your restaurant has a very good reputation, so I was surprised by this experience. And there's a lot of good and real hardworking people, Working here. I had a long day yesterday, so I wanted something light and clean today. I haven't had a Turkey Cheeseburger in a long time, so that's what I went with this time, so it should be good, and I got it not only with French Fries, but also with some Onion Rings. There's nothing more All-American than a Cheeseburger. The Turkey Patty was better than expected, I can see all the herbs and seasoning they used in it, very aromatic, and packed with flavor. The Onion Jam on it, was incredible, fragrant, very distinct, and way better than some others I've had out there so far. This was one of the best Turkey Cheeseburgers I've ever had. And the Fries, felt really natural, cooked almost perfectly, and Crunchy. The Onion Rings were out of this World, it felt like it was coated in Panko Bread, it's all in the Batter. And yeah, this is a Cup of organic Black tea, so refreshing. I was thinking I was going to give this a 4.3/4.4 stars, but I'm also giving this 4.4 stars out of 5 stars. I enjoyed my meal. read more

I took my family (2 toddlers) here for the kids eat free night. It was such a great deal and the kids loved it! The service was so great and attentive. They noticed I had a dog and brought him a bowl of cold water. They made sure the order was correct and that we had everything we needed. When I heard about Burger Lounge, I kinda thought that the atmosphere would look nicer and have long sofas based on the title. Guess that it's just an ordinary restaurant when I came in haha This restaurant serves power planted burgers and dairy free milkshakes. It's quite unusual to see an establishment that serves this kinda food. I'm quite shocked that they would fill fries and onion rings all the way to the top. It's a large and it's not really bad for $6.95 considering that it's halves of two sides. The burger also tastes good too. I'm also disappointed that their ice machine I think it's broken and one of the sodas is out of service. Also they don't seem to fill the drinks from the containers, which they're all empty. I don't know exactly why they're still sitting there. Other than that, it's still a good restaurant to go to. Hopefully they fix the ice machine soon. read more

I got a classic chicken sandwich and my husband got a western bacon. I can tell it was fresh. I'm not sure how they fry or grill their meat but it was definitely made fresh! Pricey but it was really good! The burgers were very juicy, the buns were artisan-- pretty different from the usual other burger places. The grass-fed beef was tender and juicy. The fries were also very soft and crispy which made it great. Additionally, the water here is pretty good too. The food came out very fast ~ 10ish minutes and parking is fairly simple on weekdays. Really appreciate the plant-based options at Burger Lounge! We ordered the vegan nuggets (Impossible), Impossible burger, fries, and strawberry nondairy milkshake. The nuggets and burger were pretty standard (nuggets available at Trader Joe's next door), but the burger sauce was really tasty! They even have vegan cheese. We did get the vegan bbq sauce for the nuggets, which were also good with the fries. The fries (which they initially left out of my order, thank goodness I checked the bag before leaving) were quite obviously real potato, with skins still on. They weren't super crispy but they were appropriately salted and complemented the rest of the meal well. I had a very disappointing experience at Burger Lounge. I made it clear when ordering that I do not eat pork/bacon. While waiting, I watched the cook use the same burger press directly on bacon and then press it onto ground beef patties without cleaning it in between. I saw this happen with several burgers, which is a clear case of cross-contamination. When I brought this up to the staff, instead of acknowledging the issue, the cook denied it outright, even though I saw it happen and she seen me watching her as well. That simple lie says enough about the standards at this place. If they cannot admit to a basic mistake, it raises serious concerns about how they handle food and treat their customers. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend spending your hard-earned money at a place that shows such disregard for customer dietary restrictions and honesty. read more
