First time here I got a salad, which was excellent. I think it was a goddess salad but it was about a year ago so I don't remember completely. Maybe a chop salad? Then about a week ago I got the crispy Thai brussels sprouts, and they were DELICIOUS! Today I got chicken tenders and the elote side dish. The chicken tenders were good and reminded me of fast food I used to get as a kid. I kinda regretted the meal afterwards because it was a lot of sodium and fried food not the healthiest choice. I am watching my weight and fried chicken probably is not the best choice for that. Starbird gave me a free $10 reward after my first purchase. I would probably go back and get either a salad or the brussels sprouts again. They do have the option of grilled chicken on a salad, so that's probably what I would get. I don't want to regain the 90 pounds I lost. Overall, Starbird is a good fried chicken restaurant with some healthy options like salads. Ambiance inside the restaurant is rushed, it's a popular restaurant and most often busy and crowded inside. You can order at a kiosk and that speeds things along. Love their new Japanese line: Tokyo Sesame Crunch! This is my fave salad from Starbird aside from Elote Salad. Now I can only wish they won't take this line away anytime soon. We also love their Nashville chicken tenders. For years I thought these Nashville spices were too spicy for me but turned out the spice level just hit the spot. It was bold in flavor and very much addictive! I also love their chicken wings bone in with Lemon Pepper flavor. We think it's the best flavor amongst other flavors (bbq, parmesan). So far customer service in Campbell has been extraordinary. The manager, Elizabeth has been so sweet to us. We had catering for superbowl Sunday and Elizabeth made sure we were taken care of which was really sweet of her. Some of the best chicken in the Bay Area. Starbird has been one of my go to spots whenever we're craving fried chicken tenders. This location is small but there is seating available inside and out. They offer a great variety of options including salads, tenders, sandwiches, and nuggets. The salads, especially the Chicken Chop, are a must try if you're a salad fan. The portions are big, and they don't skimp on toppings. The tenders are great I recommend the Nashville Hot if you're into spicy. You can also substitute the coleslaw for extra fries if you prefer. They also have a kids meal but I recommend getting a 4 piece tender and splitting if you are ordering for 2 kids. I'd recommend using the app were you can earn points, and it makes grabbing your food to go super easy if you don't want to dine in. This location is in the Pruneyard. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times, but you can usually circle around and find a spot. The service is always quick and picking up your food is efficient with the system they use. Indian Hotbird sandwich - 10/10 - favorite since its spices and flavor are balanced with their slices of cucumber. Indian Hotbird tenders - 6/10 - it's alright. Since it's just dressing, onions and spices, the flavor gets overwhelming. Masala street fries - 7/10 - I think they should include more onions. I love their salads so much I recently got my mom hooked on them too. lol. #FamilySaladRun I was so surprised when we stumbled upon this location in Pruneyard, I never knew they had a Starbird here. I was super happy to find this place nearby because I had some rewards to use. We ordered an Elote Chop Salad, Chicken Chop Salad, 10 piece nuggets, and some Churros. The Elote Chop Salad was IMPECCABLY DELICIOUS as always. It's really perfection. I love it. I also decided to add an extra order of chicken on top and wow! There was a giant mountain of chicken on top of the salad, we were both very impressed. lol. This time I decided to try three new items. First I tried the Chicken Chop Salad and it was great! Super filling, delicious, and very high quality chicken + ingredients. I did switch out the orange sauce because it was a bit too sweet and I also prefer the green cilantro sauce. It was perfect with the green salad sauce, yummy! Secondly we tried the Chicken Nuggets and WOW you can definitely taste how high quality the chicken is with its delicious crispiness + seasonings. We paired the chicken nuggets with honey chipotle bbq, and the aïoli sauce. I forget the correct name (sorry) but the aioli sauce reminded me of a honey mustard, yet my mom said it has mayo vibes. Either way it pairs great with the nuggets for a light flavor boost. The honey chipotle bbq sauce was nice also. The last new thing we tried was the Starbird Churros. They were definitely interesting, yet yummy! They look like classic churros but they are small oval shapes and they have a light spicey ness added to them which really surprised me. lol. Also the Starbird Churros come with dip that tastes exactly like maple syrup. It's a very interesting combo for sure and I think it is great if you have a sweet tooth, (but if you don't like sweetness skip the syrup sauce for sure. lol.) Overall we enjoyed everything we ate here and I HIGHLY recommend Starbird salads to everyone because I loveeee their salads so much! lol. The workers here at the Campbell location were all very helpful and nice as well. There was also plenty of seating when we arrived and a very convenient order screen with the peoples names that I found very helpful. I also noticed this is a SUPER BUSY location. When we got there it was very modest like maybe 5/6 people in the whole place, but when we left it was PACKED like 15-20. lol. Seems like they get busier at night time. Business is definitely booming here. Although I love the salads and admire the amazing QUALITY of food at Starbird I took off one star for the same thing I didn't like previously. My only complaint is the same one that I always have with Starbird, I really dislike how the tables aren't cleaned in between patrons. It gives me a little bit of anxiety knowing I'm eating on an un-sanitized table tbh. My mom said the same thing and she's not even a germaphobic person like me. lol. I think it would be nice solution if there was at least prepackaged wipes on the tables for patrons to use themselves if the staff is too busy.. This is a very small but important detail for our dining experience. So personally as a solution for us my mom said we will bring our own cleaning wipes the next time we come because we love the salads that much. lol. This time, I wanted to ensure the chicken sandwich was served hot and fresh, so I ordered one sandwich via the app and another in-store to compare. I ordered the Parm Grilled Chicken sandwich. The app ordering process was confusing and overly complicated. I picked up the app order 2-3 minutes after it was marked as ready, but the grilled chicken was dry and, even worse, cold. I really appreciated their attention to it and the orders were ready so quick even during a busy lunch rush. Ample seating inside and plenty outside. Ordering online for pickup is pretty seamless, but parking at the Pruneyard is pretty atrocious. Also while staff members here are friendly, when busy, the pickup area here is often completely neglected, meaning none of the customers with orders ready to be picked up can actually pick up an order. I saw at least three people try to ask or call out to a staff member that they wanted to pick up and were completely ignored. This has happened on multiple occasions. Also I was given the wrong salad before despite the receipt having the right item. I was refunded for the mistake when I reached out to their customer support, but I think it would be worthwhile for them to label their items, especially ones that look similar. All in all, I'll probably be back for the elote salad again soon, but expect a wait here during peak times and some misses, and be prepared for the parking situation. read more

The quality of food is generally good: however it has been hit or miss with regards to online orders containing everything in the order. My most recent order was missing both a side of fries and the fries from the tender box; and in the past it was pretty common to have sauces missing. Hopefully this can be addressed since the food is pretty good. Edit: after eating most recent order, this is actually worse. There was even less chicken on the chicken chop salad than usual, even given the declining quantity over the years. And the avocado given was both nowhere near 1 scoop and brown, not fresh.
