Quick service like any cafeteria style restaurant. The employee was kind of rude and the food wasn't tasty, so I wouldn't return or recommend anyone to go here when there are so many other options nearby!

The apples tasted good, but it needed more.

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. Had the BBQ chicken salad, which consisted of blackened chicken, apples, pickled onions, tomatoes, cabbage, romaine, and kale. It's also supposed to come with honey BBQ sauce, green goddess dressing, and tortilla strips. The overall portion size was good and the ingredients were fresh. The apples were the best part of the salad, but it needed more. There wasn't enough chicken, either. The pickled onions, which I usually love at other restaurants, were too tart. They were out of tortilla strips. I requested no dressing, so I assumed the container of sauce it came with was BBQ sauce, but it tasted nothing like honey BBQ sauce to me. I didn't care for whatever it was. I probably won't be back.

Not sure if I came on an off day, but my bowl lacked flavor and didn't satisfy me. For the price, I was expecting better quality from sweetgreens. The protein was decent but wasn't juicy as I hoped for. I built my own salad and although they do offer various ingredients, I didn't see the hype of this place. Some ingredients are charged at an extra cost and some stations limited you to a select number of items. My friend ordered one of the seasonal bowls which was a good concept. We would have never thought to add some ingredients together so it's nice that they have set options for customers as well. The staff was super patient with me and guided me through the ordering process. Clean and tidy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Located in a busy plaza with various shops, workout studios, and other restaurants.

Sweet green is like chipotle for salads. I like that you can make your own. It is VERY EXPENSIVE. Usually my salad with steak and no extras is over $20. Cheese is extra cost. Hard boiled egg is extra cost. Crunchy onions and fermented onions are included. Slide of bread is included. There's some nice outdoor seating. Lots of parking at the Pruneyard.

I come here about every other month after a walk along the Campbell park trail. The portion size is huge, you can share it with another person or eat half and save it for another meal. Unfortunately, the taste is inconsistent. Depending who makes your salad, it can be flavorful and delicious or just ok. But it definitely worth a try and a healthy choice.

I used to hear good things about Sweetgreen and how good their bowls are. I ordered their crispy rice bowl, and I wish there were more rice in it. It's definitely not enough. The sauce that was given for the bowl was ok. The chicken was on the dryer side, given that the sauce is already there. The ripple fries looked pretty good on the menu, so I also order that. The garlic aioli sauce pairs nicely with that.

Kale Caesar they forgot the tomatoes so make sure you double check.

Major shrinkflation. My last 2 bowls I ordered have way less in the bowls. Doesn't make sense to go here.

Sweetgreen always hits-- the ingredients are pretty fresh and taste natural. My go to is the caramelized garlic steak bowl

This was in the salad that I took to go.

The location is convenient but tricky! The pruneyard has difficult parking majority of the time, but this location is next and right next to Mendocino Farms and Trader Joe's. Their mobile order pick up is easy and your food is ready on the shelf for you. The portion is pretty difficult and not as much you expect for the price you pay. A bowl is usually priced at $18-22 which is on the higher side for the portion size you get. They have indoor and outdoor dining and also have umbrellas outside for you!

First time visiting this healthy food spot after a post-run workout. The environment was nice, though there weren't too many tables inside. I ordered the Steakhouse Chopped salad for lunch. It came with all kinds of fresh veggies paired with beef. While the beef was average, as expected, the veggies were fresh and crisp. Overall, it's a solid spot for a healthy, refreshing lunch after a workout. Worth a try if you're looking for something light and nourishing!

I've always wanted to try sweet green and I took a yoga class at Pruneyard and decided to check it out after. The man working there helped me navigate the menu since I have never been before and I ended up choosing a bowl with chicken and sweet potatoes the ball came with lots of food, but I would say I didn't feel satisfied with the flavors of the food. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing I might give it a try next time.

    Miso Glazed Salmon
    Aparna K.

We ordered from Sweetgreen in San Jose for a quick, healthy lunch and went with the miso glazed salmon bowl. Heard a lot about the clean vibe of the place, and the ingredients which are always fresh, which is a big plus. That said, the dish itself didn't quite hit the mark this time. The miso glazed salmon looked great, but taste-wise it was a little underwhelming missing that punch of flavor you'd expect. A bit of seasoning or an extra citrus glaze could really take it to the next level eliminating the fishy smell. The rice was on the dry side, which made the whole bowl feel a bit disconnected instead of hearty and satisfying. And the avocados? Not quite ripe, which made them tough to enjoy (and let's be honest, when you're expecting that flavorful bite, it's a letdown). Overall, I still love Sweetgreen's commitment to fresh, real food, but this bowl could definitely use a flavor upgrade. A little tweak here and there and it could be a standout. Would I go back? Maybe, Just hoping the next bowl brings a bit more fire.

The salad consisted of chicken, goat cheese, pink lady apples, honey roasted almonds, shaved fennel, pickled red onions, mint, romaine, kale, and mixed greens. I had them hold the dried cranberries and hot honey. The proportions were perfect and there was good stuff all the way at the bottom of the bowl, not just leftover lettuce. The only thing I didn't care for was the vinaigrette dressing. That worked out okay because the salad had so much flavor it didn't need dressing. I will definitely be back, probably many times, for that salad again.

My recommendation is to build your own salad or build your own sandwich, try the deli sides, and house made drinks, but maybe skip the regular sandwiches. Service is decent although pick up location is inconsistent between workers, sometimes it is in the marked shelves for pick up but sometimes you have to approach a staff member and ask for your order at the designated pick up time. Outdoor patio is by far the best part of dining in, I would recommend it for a weekend brunch. Indoor decor is very standard, so opt for takeout if the weather is not nice.

Then about a week ago I got the crispy Thai brussels sprouts, and they were DELICIOUS! Today I got chicken tenders and the elote side dish. The chicken tenders were good and reminded me of fast food I used to get as a kid. I kinda regretted the meal afterwards because it was a lot of sodium and fried food not the healthiest choice. I am watching my weight and fried chicken probably is not the best choice for that. Starbird gave me a free $10 reward after my first purchase. I would probably go back and get either a salad or the brussels sprouts again. They do have the option of grilled chicken on a salad, so that's probably what I would get. I don't want to regain the 90 pounds I lost. Overall, Starbird is a good fried chicken restaurant with some healthy options like salads. Ambiance inside the restaurant is rushed, it's a popular restaurant and most often busy and crowded inside. You can order at a kiosk and that speeds things along. The food is usually ready quickly and you pick up at the shelves, they have a sign telling you once your order is ready.

The bakery offers a place for friends to enjoy each other's company over fresh breads, pastries, coffees, and more. When I stepped into Manresa Bread, I was greeted by the fresh smells of baking bread. Scents of buttery dough, warm and slightly toasted, wafted through the air. The café was packed with customers sharing pastries, enjoying meals, and catching up with friends. I got the salmon toast, and was the presentation beautiful! Two slices of sourdough bread topped with filets of smoked salmon on an herb aioli spread. All of this was garnished with a generous helping of frisee, a few rings of red onion, a helping of capers, a couple zests of lemon, and a sprinkling of dill. And what a delightful meal! From the first bite, the salmon was smoky with a hint of salt and sweetness, with herbal creaminess and a toasty crunch thanks to the aioli and bread. The frisee was peppery sharp, a highlight and good contrast to the salmon. The mild salty brininess of the capers and the bright tart lemon zest brought notes of sunshine and sea breeze to the dish. The dill was the fresh, light, finishing touch. This was just like a fresh lunch by the seaside, and for a moment it was heaven. Where community comes together for good food, Manresa is there. And where there is good food there are great memories. My time at Manresa was a memorable one, and I'll be back for more food and community soon.

The cinnamon roll pancakes were insane, fluffy, and topped with a cream that made it feel like dessert in the best way. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was perfectly crispy with so much flavor, and paired so well with the sauce. We also got the BBB (bacon, bread & butter), and the bacon alone was unreal thick, caramelized, and honestly one of the best parts of the whole meal. The tater tot poutine was pure comfort food but a bit overwhelming with the amount of gravy and cheese making everything much soggier than I liked. I'd definitely leave that dish behind next time. The spicy noodle dish with the jammy egg and chili oil sauce was also a hit. It was simple but packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat for a good appetizer. We also got a jug of mimosas (strawberry guava + passion fruit mango), which were so good--light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. The vibe was lively but still cozy enough to sit and actually enjoy your time. Overall, everything felt really intentional from the flavors to the presentation. The double shot of espresso was rich and strong, and still carried through the thick cream top.
