Asian box has different locations this is the one at the Pruneyard. I like the deal that you get 4 boxes, 4 spring rolls and 4 cookies for around $56 with tax. You can also sub salad for rice to be extra healthy. The chicken is really good you can tell it's grilled. I've also gotten catering at my work and that's good too. Avoid at all costs - lousy payment system To make a long story short, we asked for a refund after the store revealed they were out of a desired option (the bahn mi bread). No worries, that can happen and the manager Shaun was nice about it. Well I was really in the mood for the bahn mi and we were in a hurry so we canceled. And this is where the wheels fell off. We didn't want to cook the other night and John wanted to check out this place. We ordered delivery and everything arrived fine--no issues there. However, that's when things went sour. We rarely have bad meals. We do our research and so it's rare for us to try something and think, "Man, this is really bad." Everything we tried was pretty bad. Usually I order a signature one since it's my first time here. I didn't want to dine here because traffic will get heavy later on when trying to go back home. Asian food in a box. A big box. The boxes are a good size with well portioned meals. I tried the yellow curry. It satisfied my curry craving, but wasn't quite as flavorful as I'd like. They serve a variety of Asian entrees, not just sticking to one specific type (Vietnamese, Thai, etc), but because of that, it's not going to be the same quality you'd get at a specifically Thai restaurant or Vietnamese restaurant. I wanted to get catering through Asian Box for Mother's day and thought this was a good way to have healthy, delicious food. I have called due to questions about the catering menu 6 times already within a 2 week period with a few days apart for followup or hoping to get someone on the phone to answer some questions about catering. I can't say enough good things about Asian Box. Everything is gluten free. Favorites: the pork Banh Mi and chocolate chip cookies. Usually we order the family box. It's two signature items, two kids plates, two cookies, and two kids drinks. The French bread is so fantastic and flavorful. The Campbell location is really well set up for Covid safety. They've created outside seating in front and to the side of the restaurant. They've moved all the pickup orders right to the front, so you can easily find yours without having to enter the restaurant. Staff all wear masks and they've got a partition at register. ZERO STARS. NEGATIVE STARS. My student with special needs asked multiple times for no peanuts. He was served peanuts and had a severe allergic reaction. Needed Benadryl and eventually needed an EpiPen and went to the ER. I went back to the restaurant to inform them. Their response was "oh sorry, she's new". I don't care if you're new or have been in the food service industry for years, there are protocols and "food handling trainings" required to work in a restaurant. This is absolutely unacceptable and a life or death incident. I'm appalled with the manager's reaction to this incident. Legal ramifications will be filed by the family. I want all to know that if you have any allergies, this restaurant will not take them into consideration. DO NOT GO HERE. "Oh sorry" will not justify a child not being able to breathe especially when he requested no peanuts.
