I wouldn't feed this to anyone i love. Not enough protein. Veggies are not fresh. All of my coworkers love it but they got it for me on my bday and then I fired them all. read more

This food is always fresh. The tofu is the best. My kids love all the chicken boxes. We always feel so satisfied when we get their food. I've tried by now all of their sauces. They are all excellent but the peanut sauce is my least favorite. It's slightly spicy but lacks a bit of flavor. Overall, it's clean fresh healthy food! read more

Not very good. Meats are served cold to luke warm and taste like they've been microwaved from the day prior. Other than that it's just a bag of cabbage mix you can get from trader Jose's with some add cilantro and peanuts. For $15 bucks it's not worth it. read more

I've been here multiple times and always enjoyed my food. Usually I'll get the miss jones or the chicken curry, both of which are delicious. I wanted to try something new this time so I got the miss jones but with salmon. The salmon substitute was an extra $2 so it came out to be a bit expensive but oh well. The salmon was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. It had a nice crisp and flavor on the outside and the inside was tender. Probably some of the best salmon I've had to be honest. I think the serving size is pretty good, you could split it into two meals. It also just feels like healthy food and it's not too heavy which is always nice. read more

Got a coupon in the mail and that prompted me to go check this place out. Friendly staff and easy to follow/order menu. Quick service. The day I went I got the curry bowl. Rice was a bit mushy. Carrots over cooked. The taste was good but IMO they are extra with the shallot/garlic and peanuts. I could do without. read more

One star. Hair in my food. Enough said. I can cook this at home...and eat my own hair at this point. Gross. I ordered a family meal for my full family and we just threw the entire meal away. What a waste. Spend your hard earned money at a different restaurant in the Prune Yard. read more

Big fan of the build your own box option. Delicious Asian salad. Steak is on point. A convenient, healthy meal option.

Decided to drop by since I normally don't come around this area. I ordered the grandmas PHO which wasn't too bad. I do agree the place is more priced compared to other joints of its kind. At the same time, there was good taste in the entree and the flavor was just right. read more

Asian Box is delicious, gluten free, and super flavorful! The menu is awesome - many different choices you can customize, and prices very reasonably. I'm so happy the entire menu is gluten free, it's really helpful for those of us with allergies. The staff at this location is super friendly, helpful, and efficient. Shoutout to Andreas who is always helpful and professional! Would highly recommend Asian Box - delicious food, great portions and options, and fast and efficient customer service! read more

Put less rice and more meat in the Vietnamese hot chicken. I paid around 16$ for this small plate you could put at least a little more chicken in there like damn. Customer service is great though! read more

We stopped in on a whim and ordered custom chicken and tofu boxes. The service was excellent, and they brought our order out to us so we didn't have to wait inside which I really appreciate. The food and portions were really good. Chicken is not over seasoned, and is still moist, and the tofu was good as well. The peanut sauce was meh. Overall it's a good value and really healthy for fast food, so we'd definitely go back if we were in the Pruneyard. read more

This place exceeded my expectations. It's pretty healthy and tasty. I got the miss jones, which had a great balance of protein, carbs, and fiber. I really liked the pork which was slightly sweet and the surface was lightly burnt and had a great texture. The chilled noodles were chewy. I also liked the pickled veggies a lot. However, the bean sprouts were raw and I think it would've been better if they are cooked and seasoned. The meal was also pretty wet? and i'm not sure where the water/soup came from. read more

"Asian Box" has been a personal favorite of mine for some time now. I have yet to go a branch that does not serve this food well. My go to meal is the Garden Box or I'll build a box myself. The food is tasty and prepared as it is listed. I am always satisfied with my experience at Asian Box! read more

Came here with a few friends. We haven't really been to the area, so we thought Asian Box sounded good. They have signature boxes and you can also make your own. The inside of the restaurant is super hot. It made me suspicious about the quality of the food being served, as the kitchen is open to the dining area. We decided to eat outside because of this. I ordered a tofu box. I recommend getting lots of sauce because it was super bland. One thing I found disappointing was that a shrimp had snuck into my box! Now I'm not completely vegetarian but I am transitioning. For those of you who have been vegetarian for awhile or are allergic to shrimp, keep this in mind! I know it would be disappointing to realize you had consumed an animal because of someone else's carelessness of preparing your meal. This was super overpriced for the quality of the food. I ended up throwing away more than half of the food because it was just so unappetizing. If you really want Asian food, please go somewhere else. As an Asian, I was very disappointed with the flavors of the meal. read more

Online ordered 3 boxes. Drove to the location. Took about 10 minutes to get there and they hadn't started the order. The restaraunt was empty, no rush or anything. Typically when you order online it's to avoid a wait. read more

I had the double garlic soy steak "box"! Not bad . The combos are clever and a cross between Korean , Chinese and Vietnamese in a mix of sugary sauces and noodles or rice! It's nice to sit outside at the pruneyard shopping center and this place is reasonably priced and you get plenty for zesty lunch. I've tried all the food places here this one sits in the middle plus+ ‍ read more

This is a really nice Asian Box location. Asian box is great, I think some people get overwhelmed with options, but just try something. It is all fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the high quality ingredients. I usually get their create your own option with chilled rice noodles, 5 spice chicken, Asian dust, and lots of their amazing peanut sauce and then I mix it all together. It's just so yummy, with unami, and sweetness, and it's not spicy (although they probably have spicy too). This place is such a gem. I can get in and out of here in like 1 min so I often order ahead and grab it on my way through the bay. But they have a nice outdoor area for eating too. It's not everywhere you can get delicious Vietnamese or Asian food that is just so refreshing and perfect for lunch. I would eat it every day if I could. Thanks to them for opening up my world to a whole new healthy flavor profile many years ago. I hope you get a chance to enjoy it too. Note-Make sure you try their scallions! They are a slightly crunchy flavor bomb. read more

This is one of my go to spots to get something quick, delicious, and pretty healthy. I normally get a build your own box with a salad base, tofu, and all the toppings except the oil and peanuts. They give you a pretty big portion and the price is very reasonable. They have a ton of different options and combinations to choose from, so you'll never be lacking in variety. It's located in the Pruneyard, so while there is parking everywhere, it can still be difficult to find a spot sometimes. Right now with COVID, finding a spot isn't an issue at all though. Their service is amazing! Amazing! Sometimes I'm very picky with my order... (no dressing on the salad base, curry on the side instead of on top of the tofu, etc etc). But the people working are always super accommodating, patient, and never seem at all bothered. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something quick and delicious! read more

Finally visited this place a few days ago. I already know of this franchise because there is one near my workplace so no need to talk about the menu (see pic for details). The shop itself is small so it really is a take out place. But there is a small seating area that will fit ~ 10 people - it'd just get really crowded really fast. I do like the Order came out in about 10mins so I'd say it was prompt service. I'll probably be back from time to time. As for food; 1) vietnamese chicken; this one is really spicy but I really like the flavor. Will get this again 2) chicken curry; lots of flavor but not really my type. And there was not enough of the curry for my liking. I did like the additional hot sauce they gave on the side. read more

The Spring roll was discussing. Noodles, lettuce, shrimp. Horrible peanut sauce. Ordered a BOTTLE of wine, got a half bottle for $14. The chicken box.. if boring was a food this would be it. No flavor. More rice than anything. I got 3 sauces and they still could not make me want to eat it. read more

OMG, 80% of box is rice. I didn't like any of the flavors, peanut and coconut. I would rather go to Chipotle any day compared to Asian box. Their sauces are not adding any value either, and 5$ more. I dont mind spending extra, if there is quailty and health benefits. They should offer sauted vegetables. They are in good location, there were no-lines, service is quicker. Premises are clean and friendly staff. Panda Express also offers sauted vegetables, we can pick as we go. Very bad experience. Rice is gluten free, but its lot of carbs. They are good in marketing, hope they will spend time to make the product better. read more

Just came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. When they first came to the Pruneyard I had looked at the menu and didn't have any interest in going, as it didn't seem like anything special. After receiving an offer for a free box I finally decided I'd give it a chance. I got the workout box and it was quite delicious, plus the service was quick and friendly. I will probably come back here and likely get the same option! My one complaint though is that the box is way too much food for one meal, but there is not enough meat to make it two meals. If I do go back, I would try to order double meat and make it two meals because I ended up throwing a bit of the rice and veggies away, as it was not worth saving it without the flavor from the meat. read more

This is our work lunch meal this week and was delivered of course. It's probably by doordash but I am not sure because I usually just marched in to our little break room and there it is or are all kinds of meals for meat lovers up to vegetarian!!! We had this yesterday and I had the work out meal . It's totally an Asian fusion !!! grilled chicken with veggies (Vietnamese style) and brown rice!! I love the flavor!!! I am a bit embarrassed that I finished all of it in one seating!! I am so wishing that we will have this again so I can try the others!! First time trying this place and can't believe I didn't know how popular it was around South Bay (after my friends told me about it). I recommend the chicken curry box. I went there to get food. I saw the promotion on a stand in the prune yard that said kids eat free on weekends. I thought great it's Saturday we can do this. I walked in and they told me it's on Sundays. I said that is not what the sign says. I showed him the sign. He said he could not honor it as the "system won't allow it". I left. I have worked in Palo Alto and in San Jose. I have ordered Asian Box on Doordash in both places. Since I often have to feed large groups at my job, I have also placed many group orders at my place of work for Asian Box. I have enjoyed their steak box and protein box many times. But...I don't know what the story is with Asian Box in San Jose. I ordered it twice for a group at our office and twice there were...less than pleasant...after effects. You know...AFTER EFFECTS? Needless to say my coworkers have respectfully requested that I don't order from Asian Box in San Jose. :( read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a few months and finally was able to check it out with my mom this past weekend! It's located in the Pruneyard plaza in Campbell with a bunch of other restaurants and stores. Parking is a bit difficult since this place is super popping these days! The restaurant is super casual with only a few seats inside. There are additional seats outside. The process is stand in line, order, and pick up your food when the buzzer goes off. My mom ordered: The Workout Box - Six-Spice Chicken, Brown Rice, Extra Steamed Veggies, Bean Sprouts, Pickled Veggies, Herbs, Tamarind Sauce *added an extra shrimp protein. I ordered: The Garden Box - Extra Organic Tofu, Extra Coconut Curry and Steamed Veggies. Brown Rice, All Toppers {No Jalapeños} and Asian Street Dust™ We also ordered shrimp spring rolls to share. The portions were a lot bigger than I expected! We both had trouble finishing our bowls. Everything tasted great and fresh. The only comment my mom had was that the dipping sauce for the spring rolls were a bit weird. I thought it was okay, just different. I would probably pass on the spring rolls next time. Sitting outside is nice because a lot of people bring their dogs! Overall, I would definitely visit Asian Box again! read more

Super friendly owner (management?) greeted us as we walked up to order. All drinks were free tonight. My daughter and I got the lemonades which were very good (tasted homemade). I got the chicken curry box which I loved and the homemade sriracha sauce added a nice kick. I also love that the owner said they don't believe in tipping or surcharges (which is so popular in Campbell), because they like to pay (and treat) their employees well. Also they offer vegan! My daughter got the garden box, very tasty. read more

This is my go-to food after a workout. Their food is really good and the food comes out quick which is perfect for me especially on those days that I forget to meal prep! Sometimes the meat will be colder than I like which is a bummer, but overall the food is delicious and the sauces they use on the meat are so tasty! Ordered door dash from Asian box. The food was cold. It only took 20 minutes for delivery so I'm confused as to why my meat wasn't heated. Ordered the ox box and pork. Meat is tough with questionable quality. (Amended rating addition) My 17yo son who ate the pork got sick that evening (post initial review) and couldn't eat solid food for two days. There's no explanation as to why he got sick other than the food we ate. I ate the ox box with no illness. My son told me he will never try this place again. read more

They welcome you with a big smile and to their box! The have few best chef signature box options but you can create your own box! But I'd recommend the signature options .The food is fresh and the service is very quick. The portion here is large ,I took the OX box . The meat was tender and the rice was sticky as expected the sprouts were fresh and the their selection of sauces was the best! I like spicy food, so I asked them their spicy sauce( they gave some siricaha tangy sauce which was best) I'll definitely visit this place again and hatsoff to their innovation read more

Chipotle-style Viet food. Concept is cool and the options are pretty good. My go-to is to build my own bowl- I get chilled noodles, steak, herbs, peanuts, pickled veggies, and add an egg. For sauces, I like the tamarind sauce and the Asian street dust. It tastes good! BUT This comes out to around $15/16, the egg and steak are added costs. Extremely expensive for what I get. I can get triple or even 4 times the amount at a regular Vietnamese restaurant for maybe $10. I definitely do not get full off of one order. I like for a quick snack that won't fill you up. Good thing is, Teaspoon is right next door, so you can always finish the meal off with boba! Note on the service...not sure if it was the same person, but I've been here about 3 times in the past few months and have had so much trouble ordering at the register. The person who took my order could not hear anything I said and I could not hear anything she said. She was mumbling under her mask and I was trying to scream out what I wanted and there was just so much repeating and miscommunication. Each time, the manager had to come over to take the order...I could hear the manager just fine and she heard me just fine too so idk...maybe train up the other person? read more

I was a bit hangry and called in a pickup order because I was in my car and couldn't order online. Also I had a crying baby on board. The person on the phone was incredibly helpful and understanding. He reassured me about my concerns about ingredients. The food was ready very fast and it was DELICIOUS! I want to eat here more often. Yum! I got the spicy red curry with tofu and steamed vegetables. Very disappointed. We went out of our way to come here because we wanted the Pho soup, only to find when we arrived that they stopped serving the soup in February. So my and I opened for a noodle salad bowl. Two of these salads costs approximately $25 and barely had any noodles in them. We went home hungry. Curiosity I called the Asian Box in San Francisco and they still serve the pho soup. I'm never come to this Asian Box again. read more
