I really liked the food I got last time so I ordered again and I had a good meal again. They have and online combo deal available which includes 6 potstickers and a fountain drink so I chose to do that with a regular sized orange chicken bowl with a noodles base. I really like their orange chicken, It has a good flavor and the serving size is pretty good, I'd order it again but would like to try their spicy version, I liked their spicy teriyaki so I'm sure it'd be good too. I like the noodles a lot too, they're just noodles! Not loaded with 35% cabbage which is so so nice. Their veggies are always fresh too and steamed but still have a light crunch. Their potstickers and egg rolls are also really good the filling of the eggroll is a nice texture- I've had the inside of others be soggy like the one from the fast food restaurant, but these are so much better. Their potsticker filling is made of chicken and veggies, and they are a nicely crunchy golden brown. This seems like a pretty fast casual place, the service is great and quick, my food is always ready within like 20 minutes. I like this spot quite a bit, I'd get food here again for sure. The base options are white rice, brown rice, noodles, fried rice or only veggies. Noodles, fried rice, and only veggies (power bowl) are available for an upcharge, but the rice options are the original base of the bowl. read more

Tried calling, no answer, no voicemail. Have driven by twice (last week, then this morning) and everything is closed up without any notification posted. Greeted upon arrival and was excited to see the item I wanted to try is the daily special. Today is Thursday - daily special is a bowl of the spicy teriyaki chicken and a drink for $11.99. What a deal. Didn't really feel like cooking so we decided to try out Teriyaki Madness. It's a narrow establishment with limited seating so a to-go order was very appropriate! You enter your order on a kiosk, make your payment, and wait for your food. There was a person working the counter but I actually didn't see him for a few minutes as he was in the back. We had the Orange Chicken with brown rice and veggies and the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki with brown rice and veggies. The immediate thing I noticed is that the bag was very heavy! The bowls are hearty and at ~$15 per order, a good value. The chicken in the bowls were very good. Tender and tasty. I ate the spicy one and it definitely had heat but not so much that it wasn't enjoyable. Also, the veggies were cooked perfectly. By perfectly I mean al dente. You could tell that the people cooking the food really care about what they put out. This was both a hearty and healthy meal and I will definitely be back again. One thing I should mention is that they have a rewards program and an associated app. I checked out as a guest since I wanted to make sure the food was good first but I subsequently signed up. The app is really good AND I was able to scan my receipt and have my purchase applied to my account which is really nice. I was tired and hungry so no photos but I'll be sure to update my review and add some the next time I visit. read more

I had this delivered so I'm basing it off that. Delivery aside, the portion on the large was pretty good, I would say on par and maybe a bit more than sarku if I had to compare it to something. The noodles were pretty good and I would say lighter on the sauce but I'm glad that they give you extra sauce so that you can add more as you please. I like that the veggies were bigger chunks and not super shredded like sarku so you can taste individually each vegetable. I would def come back and try it in store read more

The chicken was spicier than I excepted, so if you love spicy I highly recommend trying. However some parts of the chicken was a tad dry. This is a handy place to get a reasonably healthy bowl of fast takeout teriyaki chicken. We tried the regular teriyaki and also the spicy teriyaki, along with some of their orange chicken. Everything was pretty good. The spicy teriyaki was very spicy. And the orange chicken was surprisingly tasty. Portion sizes were generous. Amazing that they label gluten free items on their menu! The spicy chicken was definitely hot, which I liked. Usually spicy food isn't actually spicy, but this one did not disappoint me. My mom loves this place since she can taste the char on the chicken from being grilled. I got the power bowl but also really liked the fried rice she got. 4 Stars was what reeled me in, plus proximity. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was mid at best. The chicken was charred, but the meat was not marinated, so it was on the dry side. Very light on the Teriyaki sauce, and they charge for a side of sauce. I requested no ice in my drink, but that was ignored. We usually get take out at this place and it's the perfect spot for a quick balanced dinner. The first time we ordered food there, I tried the orange chicken and it was too sweet for me. However I really enjoyed the regular teriyaki chicken with brown rice! My husband enjoys the "mad" sauce, which is great for spice lovers! Had a chance to try Teriyaki Madness as it opened recently and enjoyed it! This is a good takeout spot with good food and nice portions for the price that you pay. We got the large bowl with the spicy teriyaki chicken and veggies. We upgraded to fried rice for the base which was a great decision, it was super flavorful and delicious! For the side we got the crispy crab Rangoons and these were yummy! I would skip these for the price though bc the plate itself was more than enough food. Overall, check this place out! read more

They weren't kidding when they said the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki is spicy... I had to tap out halfway through the bowl because it was so hot! The rice and veggies really soak up the sauce too. Very flavorful and better than the non-spicy alternative... but wow, I was breaking a sweat. Chicken was tender and well cooked. Not dry at all. Prices are standard for the portions you get. I was eating here and saw a live cockroach running across the middle of the dining room. I even caught it on camera because it was that blatant. Seeing roaches where people are supposed to be eating is absolutely disgusting and raises serious questions about how clean the kitchen is. I REALLY wanted to like this place, but it fell short. If it were somewhat cheaper I'd rank it higher but at $17.50 for a bowl, the quality isn't there. I got the salmon bowl. The salmon was mushy. The vegetables didn't taste fresh, clearly frozen. The teriyaki sauce was horrid. It literally tasted like sugar doused with pepper (the pepper was over powering). Out of the few locations I've been to in the bay area, this one is the worst one. The bottled sodas they gave us, were about 6 months past their expiration date. I didn't even check the date til we drank some and noticed they were completely flat and tasted odd. The food tasted decent but gave us some upset stomach which TM never does. When we brought the soda issue up to the employees, they said it was still fine and the expiration date didn't mean they were bad. You can be the judge but we will stick to the other locations when we want some TM. read more

Horrible experience. First time I wanted to try this spot becuase of Groupon...guy rejected my Groupon even though I already paid $40 for $50 worth of food. Now I'm disputing with Groupon and they tell me to dispute with the restaurant....done with this place. Horrible food anyways....guy says manager JUST discontinued accepting Groupons...wow... Seems like this place likes to nickel and dime because they cancelled another clients order too couple months back after reading the review. What I really like about this place is the custom ability of the food. If you are really hungry, you can get a really big bowl, or if you just want a snack you can get a small side of protein without the huge portion of rice. And yes, the portions are pretty big. And surprisingly, the food was very affordable for the portions that they gave you. I could easily spread this out over two meals. I ordered the spicy tofu side (just a smaller portion of the protein without the base of the bowl, ie. rice or greens) and it was really good. The tofu was perfectly cooked and covered in their spicy sauce. And while they do offer a takeout style service, there are plenty of tables inside with a variety of sauces that you can add to the food. The people here are very friendly and greeted us with a smile. I will definitely be back here for lunch and would recommend that you give it a try. They have everything from chicken to tofu to salmon. read more

TLDR: Ok overpriced food, customer service is a train wreck. They were having some specials on "Chicken Teriyaki" day so I placed an order for delivery. After about 45 minutes, my delivery was canceled. I tried calling the store and nobody picks up. I tried to place another or for pickup but they removed my offer code, so I found something else to eat. Fast forward 2 days later and they still charged my credit card for the order even thought they canceled the order. Still can't get in touch with anybody from the restaurant or corporate, so I just filed a chargeback on my credit card. I've been here a few times just because it's convenient and overall the food is ok but, IMO, overpriced for what it is. 3 star food + price. -3 star for terrible customer service and charging me for something that I didn't even receive. read more

Ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl with broccoli and a side of steak through DoorDash. I found the portion size to be very generous for the price. The teriyaki was DELICIOUS. I ordered extra sauce and I'm glad I did because the sauce was really good, and I loved the way the veggies and rice soaked it all up. Can't attest to the service or ambiance, being a to-go order. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who seemed to genuinely enjoy helping out, the food was simply tasty with a good balance of flavors that showed attention to detail, every bite was enjoyable and the dishes came out fresh and well presented, the atmosphere was calm and inviting making it easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal, the servers were polite and always ready to answer questions or offer suggestions without making things complicated, the portion sizes were just right for a satisfying meal and the quality of the ingredients really stood out, it felt like a place where the food was made with love and the people cared about the experience, I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu and enjoy that welcoming vibe again. read more

I worked out so hard today for the first time in years that I took a 3 hour nap afterwards and didn't get to do any of the chores I was supposed to finish, including making dinner. So we went to @teriyaki.madness for some rice bowls for a quick and filling meal. Their bowls were great but guys, THEIR CRAB RANGOONS ARE BOMB! See, the problem with the Bay Area is that it's TOO authentic. So many authentic Chinese restaurants and not enough Chinese American ones So I used to never be able to get my crab rangoon fix. I'm so happy to have a place where I can indulge in my not so secret guilty pleasure. The only thing is I wish there was more filling in the rangoons- they're flat (probably for ease of making it) so not a lot of space for the filling but the taste is definitely 10/10. read more
