    Fish and chips

I came here on a weekday for the lunch special... The good: - great tap list! Maybe one of the better selections in the South Bay and definitely hand picked by someone that knows beer and takes pride in offering the best. I opted for the socks and sandals IPA- can't go wrong. - service. I was greeted immediately upon walking in and my server was kind and attentive. Their fryer had some maintenance going on and they brought out a salad and kindly explained a short delay. - portions. I opted for the fish and chips lunch deal. This is supposedly a half portion but it felt pretty generous and I wasn't able to finish the entire meal. The not so great: - the fish and chips was kind of a let down. The actual fish pieces were dry and the batter had a weird texture. The fries were a perfect texture but were SO salty. The coleslaw on the side had a funky flavor I can only compare to the taste of bubblegum? It was odd. - value. This is dependent on your expectations I suppose. I left paying around $30 with tip, which seems pricey for a casual lunch. Overall, I'd come back for the tap list but likely not commit to a full meal.

    Reuben sandwich and onion rings

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Brew City Grill. I was surprised to be able to walk-in on a Friday night around 7pm and easily get a table for 2 inside (there is plenty of outside seating as well). This is more of a family type/sports bar restaurant so a good place to grab a beer and watch sports (last night it was the Sharks Hockey game). Food: This time I ordered a Reuben sandwich -- it was very good with lots of corned beef -- maybe could have use a tad more Thousand Island dressing on it. I ordered onion rings as a side, they make excellent onion rings here. My partner had the birria tacos which were good, but he probably liked the fish and chips he got last time better. Drinks - they have extensive beer list, I got my usual Pliny the Elder draft. We did not order desserts, they have a chocolate lava cake and banana churros but neither appealed to us.

We came around dinner time on a Friday and were able to get a comfy booth as soon as we walked in. So many great options to pick from. They have a special menu on the side too. The food was brought out super fast. Chili fries: the fries were so good. The fries were crispy and never got soggy even at the very bottom. Well balanced with the flavors and the onions on top made it refreshing. Loaded nachos: these were delicious, the right amount of spice and savoriness. Brew city pizza: the crust was delicious and they loaded it up with so many quality toppings. There was a bit of extra moisture from the veggies but the crust held up and was still crispy. Beer flight: the glasses were the perfect size for a flight. We got the #2,3,4, and 8 on the menu. All good, though our top favorite was #2 from Russian river. On top of the quick service and good food, I have to admit the atmosphere was notable too. It wasn't extremely loud even though they were busy. I love that they offer different sizes for the food because I'm someone who wants to try different dishes. We got half loaded nachos, half chili fries, and a small pizza. Check this place out for some delicious food and beer!

The food was amazing. We did have to wait on service for about 20min because the bartender behind the bar was manning both the bar and tables. Dinner service gets really packed. This place is such a nice vibe. Would definitely come back. The selection of beers was great as well.

We were in the area and tried Brew City Grill because of the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. We were seated immediately (it was Veteran's Day, holiday for some people). The food and drink menus had a lot of options, making it hard to decide on what to eat and drink. So we ordered several dishes. The restaurant was 1/2 full when we arrived, but filled up by the time we left. We did not have to talk over loud background music or noises. Brew City Grill is a little far off our beaten path, but we would go back when we're in the area again.

The place was busy on Saturday night but we got lucky and got a booth for two within 5 minutes. The waitress was awesome giving food and drink suggestions. I got to sample two ciders and a seltzer before going with the seltzer. Nice call! The food was great - we LOVED the pozole and arugula strawberry salad. We would come back just for those! The atmosphere was popping and we didn't feel rushed even though it was super busy. This is a gem spot.

I was in the neighborhood seeking a quick sud and also check up on some NFL scores. It was nearing closing time on a Sunday evening, but I found this place in close proximity. I did grab a few beers for take out. I slid into the bar for a quick Sip of IPA. It was a west coast IPA from Santa Cruz it was delicious. Gal behind the Bar was friendly enough and the menu for food looked enticing. Definitely will stop by if I'm in the neighborhood again and try some more of their beers and maybe some Wings or Pizza.

Thoroughly impressed! Food was delicious, nothing was oily or overly salted. I enjoyed every single dish and so surprised at how tasty the pozole was. Came during a niner preseason game on a Saturday and there was no crowd. Shockers because this is such a great spot! Absolutely love they are dog-friendly and had chicken/rice or ground beef/rice bowls for $6. Will definitely be back and look forward to making this a regular spot!

Revisited this spot and the service and food are still fantastic! This is a great place to watch the current sports games too! We ordered wings, pizza, tots, tacos, fried pickles and peppers, and drinks and everything was fantastic!

On Friday, April 3, 2026, my husband and I went for an early dinner (before 4 pm) to Brew City Grill. They have a great Happy Hour! We ordered the 1/2 Fish and Chips and the soup and salad combo, a beer, a beer flight (4 different beers and they have a great selection of local beers!) and a glass of Pinot Noir... and a "burger with white rice" for our doggie from the dog food menu. Service was very friendly and they have a very nice patio to sit outside (again, dog friendly!) . We'll be back!

Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I'm here at Brew City Grill in Campbell this evening. I saw something here, that I really wanted, I knew exactly what to get. I got me a large Birria Pizza. It's the best of both Worlds, Pizza, and Birria. This is a one beautiful looking Pizza Pie, and one of a kind creation. It has Beef, Guajillo and Ancho Sauce, Cheese, Onions, Cilantro, Radish, Poblano Crema, and lime in it. The Crust was really good, it was flavorful, it was Light, savory, and I like some of the Radish that was a nice touch and Cuts through it. And I had to get a Cup, of that Black Cherry Tarragon soda. I give this 4.3 stars out of 5 stars. Delizioso.

    POZOLE VERDE
    Ellen S.

Pozole for the win! Most places do not offer pozole, but when I see it, I order it. So glad I did. It's a pozole Verde and comes in a cup or bowl. Ordered the bowl. They are generous with chicken and hominy and the broth/soup base is tasty. It comes with the fixin's - chopped white onion, radish slices, lime wedges and tortilla strips. It also comes with a generous handful of tortilla chips and a cream based salsa. Very good. We also ordered the strawberry arugula salad. Portions are large, the strawberries were fresh and ripe. Glad we finally tried Brew City Grill Parking can be a little hard as it's a small lot with shared parking with several other shops/stores.

I loved how chill this place is. When I ate here, it felt like a lazy, breezy, Sunday afternoon. Its dog friendly at the patio seating outside. Its very nice inside too. The service was attentive and fast. I had a late lunch but there were still people there. I had an amazing Ceasar salad. I ordered that twice. Rhe calamari was excellent, and my friend got the rueben. I ordered some chicken wings and 2 glasses of wine. Everything was excellent and I certainly enjoyed myself. I will definitely come again with my dogs next time!

A handsome building with three distinct areas to settle in, it's easy to find comfort here. The choice mix-tape music with ample offerings from the 80s and 90s especially, help set the mood. And though this is an English pub, the music is not confined to the U.K. The beer selection is great - and international, as well. The Guiness menu on the wall is helpful, but there's even more to explore. Tumer Pils, Stella, et al. And there is a good whiskey menu, too. Trials is also great for food. I recently enjoyed their Pub Burger, which is a hearty plate of 1/2 lb. burger, with bacon, cheese, and the usual veggie accompaniment. The 'chips' are good and plentiful, but I have now tried their beer-battered onion rings -- and those are wonderful. Perfectly crunchy, not greasy, and just salty enough. If you do opt for the salad with any of your dishes, it's deep green and crafted with care. The side salad here is no afterthought. The Shepard's Pie looks great, and apparently is (though my dining companion failed to offer me a bite). Previously, I had enjoyed the falafel plate because sometimes, you just want falafel. Also previously, I tasted the chicken curry dish (hearty and delicious). The Mac n Cheese bites got high marks at our table, though I did not partake. The sausage rolls - classic pub fare - were very good on my first trip here. The cold water is refreshing and welcome. And the Tumer Pils hit the spot. It's all good here. Special mention for Thomas, one of the gents here. Super-likable, with a sly sense of humor, Thomas is a major asset at Trials Pub. Parking is easy -- or just ride-share -- just in case.

Sadly, the accompanying steak fries were kind of mushy. My friend ordered a Cornish pasty. He said that both it and the vegetables that came with it were tasteless. First night was a Thursday. I ordered the fish and chips which were ok. Nothing spectacular. The scene was dead and there was maybe only 7-10 other people in the entire pub. Second night I came was on a Saturday. I only ordered drinks. There was a bigger crowd but barely, 15-20 people. Overall my opinion of this place is positive and yet I was disappointed that it wasn't better. It's in a great location. There's hotels and condominiums in the area all within walking distance. The atmosphere is great. The staff is awesome! It has so many positive aspects that should make it a regular hangout spot but for some reason it's failing. I'm giving it 5 stars because I feel it deserves better. People should give this place a shot. There is a dart board that is free to play which I think is awesome. A big patio area for large parties. The beer prices are very reasonable. Suggestion to the establishment: They have an AMI juke box, but on both nights the volume was turned down pretty low which kind of made me feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Turn it up!!! This place needs to figure out if it wants to be a restaurant that serves beer or be a bar that serves food. Personally I think it needs to realize that it needs to focus on being a bar. There's 15 other restaurants within walking distance from here and that food is 100 times better. This place should focus on getting the customers that leave those restaurants for after meal drinks.

I chose the CC Chicken Dupbop. Their dishes are customizable so I chose it to sit on top of Egg Rice (which also was on top of some shredded cabbage). I chose the spice on the chicken to be lemon pepper (non spicy option) and Angry sauce drizzled on top (which is flavorful and just enough spicy). This was listed as their best selling. Bcuz many photos had the Corn Cheese, i decided to add that on as a side. Did I need the .99cent mac salad add on too? No, I would have been full without either side, But did i enjoy them and glad I tried, yes! It was my first time there so I went for it. I have some Santa Clara favorites and will add to my list of places to go when I'm working over here. The service was friendly, on time, and interior has cool vibe and a great place to hang with your friends.

We ordered a good amount of food, but I thought the food was just okay for the price. The side of kimchi fried rice lacks flavor. My favorite was the CC chicken pan dish. It was pretty flavorful. Overall, rice junky wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for late night food, but it is a good place to hang with friends.

Their well liquor is the cheapest thing their distributors carry which makes the flavor not worth the price. I originally asked for a Rum Runner, but they didn't know how to make it. I asked for a Run Punch, they also didn't know how to make it, so I was went simple with Rum and Coke and that was still messed up. The menu is lacking, but had the staples so stick with what you know instead of the purveyors l over prices specials. $58 for a surf and turf at this place didn't seem worthwhile. The room was nosey as the hotel had a party going on, so this wasn't an enjoyable atmosphere. Their uniforms try to make our look upscale, but looks dates instead. Overall, it wasbthe most affordable option in talking distance other than the Chinese restaurant that was hosting band night.

I ordered the Grilled chicken Cesar and it came in this Parmesan cheese shell. The dressing tasted very authentic and the croutons were spiced perfectly. The Grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful.

The Pub - Greasy, drips too much so it saturated the bun.

The Pub - I shouldn't have to put a napkin under my burger to capture the excess moisture.
