Burger Lounge is a fast casual joint situated out on the edge of the Pruneyard so they have some good visibility on your way inside, so it definitely got me curious enough to try them out eventually. Giving credit where it's due, the burger is definitely quite solid and I'm tempted to come on back for the burger alone. They do have some good deals like Kids eat free Tues and a happy hour (M-Th 3-5pm, half off burgers, chicken tendies, and alcohol), which I'd definitely happily pay for the burgers. Cooked firmly well-done, but still solidly juicy with some clean flavors from its supporting toppings/condiments. It's not doing anything terribly unique, but it does it well and the grass-fed meat sourcing is a quality some will appreciate. The patty itself was pretty well seasoned and all in all a pretty nice burger. The bun could use a bit of improvement though as it was mildly dry and could use some more toasting. ==Crispy Chicken Sandwich [2/5]== Despite a nice fry, it's a horridly dry patty, which just really can't be saved no matter how good anything else in the sandwich is. Walked around the Pruneyard shopping center, and this place looked the best choice so decided to have lunch here. There was a small line to order, nothing crazy. I was tempted to get their special holiday milkshake (some kind of peppermint flavor), but unfortunately they don't make these with non-dairy option so that's out. That's fine... saves me a few hundred calories. Decided to get their lounge burger with a small side of fries. Food came fairly quickly, and it was pretty yummy. I don't eat burgers enough to be able to say if the grass-fed beef tasted better, but it was tasty nonetheless. Well well well done surprise -- at the Burger Lounge! I had been eyeballing this place for a while, and finally got to experience the good stuff it has to offer. Terrible experience. I was looking forward to finally trying out Burger Lounge due to their 100% grass fed burgers, and was severely disappointed. 1. They forgot my salad. 2. The food arrived cold even though my office was less than 10 minutes away from the restaurant. 3. Customer service was not helpful at all on handling my refund for my forgotten salad. They told me to speak to DoorDash about getting my refund, then DoorDash told me to call Burger Lounge back. (At the time of writing this, I have still not gotten my refund) To be fair, maybe their food is actually good if I ate there in person. But don't offer delivery services if you cannot handle it. Employees were efficient and friendly when I called in to confirm that my order was ready. If you like your burger more well done be sure to specific that in your order since mines was medium rare. Bread was nice and soft with a grass fed burger. The chocolate and strawberry shakes were not too sweet compared to shake shack. I had the special Western burger with onion rings in it. I liked the buns they use. The beef patty seemed a bit smallish for a $13 burger. It tasted good though and so did the cheese. However, they skimped on the bacon with hardly a minuscule single slice! Not what the picture portrayed on the menu board! I was also left a bit bitter by being assessed a 3% surcharge on our tab (before tax too). The menu board made no mention of the charge to come. Yes, it's too expensive to operate here in California, but your prices certainly seemed to already account for that, and then some. Service was okay. Staff were friendly enough. The place was clean.
