Stopped to pick up 2 bowls of Chicken Noodle soup to go. When we got home 40 miles later, there was about 3 or 4 noodles in one bowl. Store will give me a free one when I come back. I placed an online order to be delivered within 20-30 minutes by DoorDash. We live in a gated community so I gave explicate instructions for delivery including not to come to the gate on a certain street because it is locked. There is a gate house on another street where you must check in. An hour after it was supposed to be delivered, someone who could barely speak English called my contact number and just said "DoorDash" 3 times. I asked where she was and she hung up on me. No order was left on my porch - so called Panera. I was told I would have to call DoorDash, as Panera's responsibility ended once the order was picked up by DoorDash. So, I called DoorDash and after I had to select about 4-5 options, they hung up on me and sent me a picture of the bag of food left at the base of a tree beside a highway!!! Definitely NOT on my front porch. That is the last time I will order from Panera or use DoorDash for anything!!! read more

Coming back from my father's funeral, we decided we wanted something healthier to eat so we looked up the nearest Panera. Bad mistake. It was a Saturday night and there was 1 employee taking orders. We debated leaving but we were so tired, we stayed. How bad could it be? Well we waited in line approximately 30 minutes to give our order: 2 soups in a bread bowl. I thought that would help us get us our food faster. Then we wiped down a dirty table & sat to wait on our order. Nearly 30 minutes later, we got our food. The soup, approximately 2/3 cup, came with a small sourdough boule. My son's soup was warm; mine was barely warm. Disgusting. I could barely eat it. So in essence, I paid over $6 for Sourdough bread & a small bowl of cool soup. So after an hour waiting on our food, I left hungry enough that I was eyeing the fast food restaurants on the way back to interstate. My advice: Don't bother. read more

Went there for lunch, food took forever to come out, my salad sat there in the window for quite awhile and I finally had to ask if it was mine. Food was sloppy and no freshness to it at all. Went and asked for my money back because I could not eat it, the General mgr. was very arrogant and told me I could not have my money back that as a courtesy I could have instore credit. He would not talk to us about a refund and he left and hid in the back and would not talk to us, we stood there at the cash register, called the bank and had them stop the transaction, The general mgr. came back out and told us to leave he was calling the police. I am writing this review as I am stuck in the drive thru line. There is no way out, once you enter, you are forced to continue through the line, it is the only way out. Makes sense because of the wait, if you enter the line knowing the wait is going to be a minimum of 20 minutes through the DRIVE THRU, you would want to abandon your decision to eat here as soon as possible, however, they have made that impossible. This could be due to a shortage of staff? However, it seems I am not the only customer in the past year who has not been happy with their experience here. read more

I always like Panera but this location seems to be lacking. We have eaten here several times and have not been impressed with the service or accuracy of our orders. The first time, I went through the drive thru and almost every item I wanted was out of stock. I assume this was because it was late in the evening. When we are in the restaurant, they had table numbers and a server brought our food. It took so long we went up to the counter to look for our order and saw what looked like our food with flies on it. A few minutes later, the server brought us our order (which was indeed the one we had seen with flies). The most recent time, they had done away with the servers so you just wait at the window. It still took a while to get our food but the wait was better. This time, my boyfriend only got half a sandwich despite the fact he has ordered a whole. They did apologize and offer to fix it but we felt bad to do that since the order had been entered wrong so we only paid for half. Definitely unimpressed with the service! read more

Came here after they opened on a Sunday morning. Shelves aren't stocked, waiting for a cashier to show up. Then, after ordering 6 bagels it took 10 minutes of waiting to realize they didn't have the bagels I wanted made yet. Cashier forgot my order repeatedly then took forever!! 20 minutes for six bagels when there are no other customers is ridiculous! On top of that they forgot my scone as I was leaving too. I have heard a lot of good things about PB. Was very disappointed. Not much selection of food choices then I had to heat up my own food after paying nearly $25 for like 3 drinks and 4 food items. Went to get bagels. They were out of everything. I got two cinnamon rolls instead. The staff member that waited on me was very rude in the drive through. I pulled up and waited 5 min for them to bring my order. I watched 4 employees play and talk instead of waiting on me. When she finally brought my order she had covered her gloves in icing. My bag was covered and so was my card she took. When I asked for napkins she was visibly mad I wasted her time asking. She gave me a handful then walked away. Wouldn't even respond to my thank you. I come here often because it is a great atmosphere, generally quiet and plenty of space for me to get some work done. The staff was courteous but the issues I am having are with the food. I ordered the turkey and avacado BLT with no bacon or tomato. I added swiss cheese since I cannot eat the bacon or tomato and it was still $1.00 extra. For a sandwich, chips in a drink, I'm not sure it was worth almost $14! Upon getting my sandwich, the avocado chunks were huge! If it is going to be on a sandwich it needs to be in thinner slices spread across the sandwich, not one big chunk only in the middle. Lastly, the bread is delicious but its much too thin for that kind of sandwich. I had to eat half with my fingers because everything fell out, an absolute mess. A thicker bread would be much more suited for the sandwich. The turkey was delicious as well! read more

I hate that I'm saying any of this because I'm typically super easy to please and almost never irritated about bad customer service. But I've dealt with incorrect orders 4 times in the last month or so. And each time I've had to go out of my own way to be able to correct it. I've been really nice about not putting a review on here but I've also had enough. Just as an example, I ordered some breakfast once and I waited in the curbside pickup for 40 MINUTES and I had called to see why it was taking so long. Apparently, they never saw me in the parking spot (I was sitting right in front of a curbside pickup spot) and had cancelled my order. I was FURIOUS. They had something go wrong with the building (not 100%) to the point where they had to close early and send all employees home. I'm not upset by the closing but I'm upset that they let me sit there for so long without letting me know they had cancelled my order. This is only one experience. This is the worst Panera we've been in!! The bakery was out of everything except 2 pastries that looked 2 days old. There were two clean tables in the entire dining room. The bathroom was gross with toilet paper on the floor and pee on the seat! The dirty dishes were stacked and spilling over the tray they are kept in outside on the patio AND in the dining room! There was a man sitting at a table having coffee and cutting his fingernails letting them fly all over the table, floor and chairs!! Can you say disgusting?!!!!!! I called an hour later, half hour after the delivery time to check on it to be told it was on its way. Then I gave up bc after two hours since I ordered it, it just showed up. So to sum it up.....the timeline was fake, the person who answered the phone whom didn't even know who I was lied and then it still took over a hour to get it. This is the worst run restaurant in town. We ordered online for rapid pick up. My daughter arrived at the time indicated on the receipt. She sat there for 30 minutes waiting for the food. When I called to find out what happened, they claimed that they had the food at the front counter, but they allowed her to sit at the rapid pick up bench for 30 minutes. When I asked they give the food to her, they said she had left and no one was there. So, they weren't even busy. They just do not care about service there. So we got cold, tired, late food. I mobile ordered and did curbside @ 6:50 PM & the app said it would be ready @ 7:05 PM. Me and my significant other left our house to go pick it up and turned the blinker on. 25 minutes to 'not' get a hot chocolate I don't visit this location as often since they moved to the bigger location. After this latest visit, I suppose that is a good thing. I went over Saturday night, and ordered a simple hot chocolate at the counter. I then went to the receiving area, and waited, and waited. After twenty minutes, I returned to the checkout line, where there was one waiting, and inquired about the delay. The tired young lady behind the counter told me that they were very busy and behind. I guess myself and the other six customers I saw in the building were simply too demanding. I told her I did not want to wait, and asked for my money back. She vanished into the back, and five minutes later, a manager-sort came back, and with a half-hearted apology returned my money. I won't be back. read more

Most recent stops once the dining area was open and full but was told when I went to the register... "sorry if you'd like to order you have to go through the drive through lane". When I asked what about all the people inside, was told you can go through the drive and then bring inside to eat.. wth?!...line wrapped around the building and don the road like Chick-fil-A....I just left. Second and last time I'll be stopping here I walked to the register... was greeted and when I went to place an order was told "just so you know orders are taking 45mins to an hour.. is that ok?"... lmfao!! For pre packaged microwave Mac and cheese... yes panera just because you put the high counter there you can still be seen carrying out the pouches of Mac and cheese from the back after you hear the microwave been and cuttin the bags and pouring into the bowls. Just a terrible Panera. Management is awful and seems to treat their employees terribly. I have had multiple problems here. 1) Ordered delivery to my home five minutes from Panera. It was supposed to arrive within about 45 minutes. Honestly pretty long for one soup at 11am on a Tuesday, but whatever. Except an hour and a half later it still wasn't there...as I was without a car at the time, I tried to call the store. No answer. I called three times then gave up. Finally they showed up a half an hour later, making my wait time 2+ hours for one cup of soup to my home five minutes down the road. 2) Got in the drive thru line at night with my boyfriend. It was relatively busy. We waited at the speaker with our window rolled down for about ten minutes. I work in a drive thru myself so I'm very aware of how drive thru works and exactly how to act. Finally we just pulled to the window as obviously no one was going to take our order. When we got up there, the woman was EXTREMELY rude and tried to argue with my boyfriend saying she had taken our order...uh no. No apology or anything, simply arguing with us and then made a big deal about the single pastry we wanted that took two seconds to grab from the case. 3) Ordered a bread bowl. Received bread for sure, and about two spoonfuls of lukewarm soup. I am incredibly incredibly shy and was too nervous to confront any employee about it...I literally ended up wasting my money purchasing another bowl and I'm so mad now that I did, I just hate confrontation. I paid like $14 total for barely any soup. Honestly I just keep coming here because it's the only even close to moderately healthy fast food place near where I live. If we had anywhere else I'd avoid this Panera like the plague. There are a few wonderful employees but obviously management is terrible. read more
