Let's start with the good. The bagels are good and they have a lot of variety. I also like the uniqueness of the flavors including Rosemary Mozarella, Spinach Parmesan, Strawberry Crunch and others. They also have many bagel sandwiches that are also very "New York" in the combination of meats, cheeses, etc. Finally, they have almost 10 different choices of cream cheese in many unique flavors as well. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese on a Rosemary Mozzarella bagel and it was delicious. Now for the things that need to improve. The line was out of the door...At first I thought it was because of how good it was and that you don't have many good bagel choices in Burlington, NC but it is more a function of inefficient operations. No one was at the counter when we first arrived. We watched 3 customers leave after several minutes due to know one being present when you walk in. A few minutes later a man walked out from the back to hand a couple their order. He was rather grumpy and sweaty. He did take one order but didn't say anything to all the people in the line and just really gave the vibe that he didn't want to be there. I was somewhat empathetic as it seemed the A/C was not working (which is why he was so sweaty). The lack of air condition resulted in the door being open and I noticed that a fly had made its way to the counter where the bagels were in the open with no way to keep the fly off of the bagels. Eventually a very nice lady came to the counter and he returned to the kitchen. She was very pleasant and definitely picked up the speed of service. Another issue is that they were already out of many bagel varieties and it was only 9am on a Saturday. Outside of the bagels, everything else is minimal meaning if you want gourmet coffee this is not the place. They do have a variety of creamers, etc but just good old black coffee. Finishing on a good note...the cinnamon crunch bagel did not disappoint. This could be a great review if they would improve the customer service and get the A/C fixed.

Great tasting, fresh made bagels! Everyone was quick and very nice, place has a good vibe to just grab a quick bite.

Local bagel shops are just the best, right? I mean, who can resist a good bagel? Not me, that's for sure. My first visit here was right after I moved to the area. With one of my kids in tow after dropping off the other at school, we decided to give this place a shot. It's nicely situated in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside, there are ample tables and a spacious counter displaying a tempting array of bagels behind glass. Above the counter, a chalkboard menu showcases specials and highlights different cream cheese varieties. On this visit, I noticed they offered breakfast options like bagel sandwiches with eggs and bacon/sausage. On my second trip, they had these fantastic specialty sandwiches with unique names and ingredients. I ordered a bagel, egg, and sausage sandwich along with hash browns and a plain bagel with regular cream cheese for the little one, paired with a coffee. For me, of course; he got orange juice! The bagel was fresh and they had a LOT of cream cheese on his - which was quite fun for him getting it everywhere! Kids, amIright!?The customer service was exceptional--friendly, welcoming, and helpful in navigating the menu. They also had a well-maintained self-serve coffee bar with a variety of creamer choices. My second visit was equally delightful. I went for the Zinger, a bagel sandwich that felt like a holiday in my mouth. It had all my favorite ingredients with an added honey blast--absolutely delicious! In terms of ambiance, food quality, and service, this place has become my ultimate go-to treat.

People who work there are really nice and the options are good too. Probably the best bagel you can get around Elon/Burlington area which is great! My only complaint, is that they are skimpy on the cream cheese :(. I ordered an everything bagel w bacon scallion cream cheese and they barely put any on there.

Decent size and variety of bagel sandwiches. However when we go there at 11am there were only a few options of bagel types left. Would love to have had some of the other bagel options.

2 are for $21. This would have been 5 stars had I not known what downtown New York City offers - but this is as close as you can get to that type of Bagel perfection in Burlington for sure!. Many many cream cheese flavors - beautiful bagels - normal sized - not huge but not small. They toast them and apply meats and cheeses (see the pic of the menu) place is bright and clean and covered up with people. Be aware - if it's packed - you may need 30 minutes to get food.

Food is excellent! Service is top class ! And the ambiance inside is amazing very laid back and cozy everyone makes you feel right at home truly a hidden gem ! You must bring your friends and family here to try the bagels. even offered me a free bagel on the house to try with my order ! 10/10 recommendation!

Customer service here is TOP TIER, Angela Marino is a BOSS. She cares about her customers and their experience with her. Bagel was great, warm , sweet and fresh. Omelette was hot and ready and flavorful. Did a pickup order but the service I received was great.

Wam Bam may be a decent choice for bagels and cream cheese, but their breakfast bagel sandwiches could definitely be better. Their sausage is frozen & pre-pattied which creates a soggy, flavorless final product. The bacon is thin, pre-cooked, and floppy. Wam Bam steams their bagels instead of toasting, which I'm sure some people prefer, but not my family. The bagels could also be more flavorful, as I had an asiago bagel that barely tasted of anything more than a plain bagel. One of the employees seemed a bit annoyed at the rush of customers, which really rubbed my husband the wrong way. I'm sure that Wam Bam meets the need for a certain demographic, but I'm not in that demographic.

I decided on the buffet and while I waited for my waitress to come back so that I could tell her, I noticed that another customer at the buffet, where she pulled the ladle out full of grits, then dipped her finger in, tasted the grits, and put the ladle back. I told the waitress discreetly, and a few minutes later the manager/owner came out of the kitchen and pulled the entire container of grits from the buffet. Never have I ever seen a customer do that, but I'm so glad I did, and I'm glad that they took immediate care of it. Now for the food. It could've been a little warmer, but it was still pretty good. I went early one Saturday morning before the rush (crowds were appearing by the time we left at 9:30a) and were quickly seated in a booth by the window with lots of natural light. The restaurant was clean and well appointed with modern rustic decor and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. I did a bit of research before ordering to only order the most popular dishes in hope of making some memories this time around. I ordered the morning meditation juice which was a perfect mix of their fresh squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, beet juice, turmeric, ginger and agave nectar. Perfect way to start my morning in the sunlight. For my main breakfast entree I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which came with 2 HUGE pancakes the size of the plate. Even though the lemon curd appeared to be a dollop, it was enough for the whole dish since the lemon was very prominent to the point syrup was not needed. The berries were fresh and the pancakes were cooked to perfection (soft with lightly crispy edges). I also enjoyed a hot cup of table side coffee with my drink. I drink it black so I found the plain coffee to have a nice flavor and wasn't bitter at all. Now the million dollar bacon ehhhh.... I heard someone ask if they were thick, not at all. I found the honey to overpower the other seasonings so it was just basic bacon with honey in my opinion. Not worth the almost $7 price tag or the million in the name. If I am in the mood for a solidly good fresh breakfast in a nice atmosphere I'll be sure to stop by, but I wouldn't wait longer than 15 minutes for it.
