Happened to be in the general area so I decided to a hot and a burger at this small, out-of-the-way place on the far southwest side of Burlington. This is typical Southern cafe - serving breakfast 7 days a week (but no liver pudding), meat and 2 choices for lunch and dinner during the week, closing at 2 PM on Sat and Sun. I was interested in the Hot Dog ($1.70), the Cheeseburger ($2.95), and the FFs ($1.95), pretty much my standard first time order at small cafes/diners. The hot dog was very nice, better than any of the Skid's location, at least on par with Jim's in Graham, and a more standard dog than that at Zack's. The burger is large, and was pretty tasty once properly salted. At $2.95, this is definitely a value burger. The FFs are the ridged rectangles of faux potato sub-matter, no reorder is remotely possible. This place i small, a bit dark, but clean. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient. I will definitely drop by again when the opportunity presents itself.

Local hole in the wall. Family of 4 had a huge breakfast for $24.00 Loved the biscuits and gravy (gravy spiced just right) clean, well lit and a no frills southern style breakfast place at a reasonable price. Can't wait to try them for dinner!

Cozy, and what you'd expect for a country diner.

Great service and food is always great. I've never been in there and they were rude. That says a lot for a place these days.

I enjoy getting the cheese dogs and cheeseburgers. They have good fried okra as well.

The casual but polished ambiance fits perfectly into the charming, throwback small-town feel of downtown Graham.. which feels like something out of an earlier era with its historic courthouse, independent movie theater, and locally-owned boutiques and casual restaurants. The menu offers a wide variety of made-to-order savory and sweet crepes, as well as several toasts and waffle dishes. On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. I really enjoyed the soy maple pecan latte.

We made same day reservations a few hours in advance because we figured it would get crowded with Elon parents visiting their kids. I'm glad we did because it was packed 15 minutes after we sat down. Hostess was kind with greeting us and sat us down right away when we arrived. My husband ordered the shrimp & grits and I ordered the pancakes with sausage. Food came within 15 minutes. The pancakes were fluffy and the sausage was nicely cooked. Service was great and one of the servers made sure to keep my water glass filled. The Mark at Elon is very pretty inside. They have a private parking lot outside reserved for Inn guests and we were able to park there because we were at the restaurant. I would recommend this place if you have guests in town and want something slightly nicer than your typical breakfast diner. They do serve lunch and dinner here too, but I can't speak on that food just yet. I'll have to return to try it out!

I went early one Saturday morning before the rush (crowds were appearing by the time we left at 9:30a) and were quickly seated in a booth by the window with lots of natural light. The restaurant was clean and well appointed with modern rustic decor and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. I did a bit of research before ordering to only order the most popular dishes in hope of making some memories this time around. I ordered the morning meditation juice which was a perfect mix of their fresh squeezed orange juice, lemon juice, beet juice, turmeric, ginger and agave nectar. Perfect way to start my morning in the sunlight. For my main breakfast entree I got the lemon ricotta pancakes which came with 2 HUGE pancakes the size of the plate. Even though the lemon curd appeared to be a dollop, it was enough for the whole dish since the lemon was very prominent to the point syrup was not needed. The berries were fresh and the pancakes were cooked to perfection (soft with lightly crispy edges). I also enjoyed a hot cup of table side coffee with my drink. I drink it black so I found the plain coffee to have a nice flavor and wasn't bitter at all. Now the million dollar bacon ehhhh.... I heard someone ask if they were thick, not at all. I found the honey to overpower the other seasonings so it was just basic bacon with honey in my opinion. Not worth the almost $7 price tag or the million in the name. If I am in the mood for a solidly good fresh breakfast in a nice atmosphere I'll be sure to stop by, but I wouldn't wait longer than 15 minutes for it.

Mushrooms were on one half of the sandwich and the onions were on the other half. My first bite of sandwich was strictly onions (yum onion sandwich). The pesto was a single blob in the center. The Greensboro and Raliegh locations have never been a disappointment. I will never go back to the Burlington location. This is sad because I live in Burlington.

I got to Danny's 9:09 and I didn't get my food until 9:34. I was 15 minutes late getting him his food on his 30 minute break. His over medium eggs were more like over easy, butter and egg juice leaked out of the container into the bag, the hash browns were put on foil in the to go container so you had to be careful not to eat any, and honestly a restaurant in my hometown is way better. I chose this place in hopes the food would be more fresh and hot when I got out to him because of the 30 minute drive from home to his work. Would have been better taking him cold food from a different restaurant. They don't care about their to go orders like they do if you are eating in the very very small restaurant. I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. I chose them due to the reviews on Google but it wasn't worth it. Price wasn't bad but the food and service wasn't worth it. If you are thinking to go, don't. Just go somewhere else. First impressions last a life time.
