I was invited to join a group of friends to have dinner here last night. We were a large party arriving at 8 on a Friday, so a wait was expected. I was disappointed that our party had to be divided in order to be seated but again, no big deal. It took about 20 minutes for our server to take our drink orders, so knowing it might take a while to get our food, I went ahead and ordered 3 servings of the bruschetta appetizer, thinking that would give us something to munch on while waiting for our salads and meals. I'm not sure what was going on in the back of the house, but it didn't go well. Our service was..." out of sequence ".. is the best way I can describe it. Long review short-it had to be the management; one of our party mentioned it was different. One of the three bruschetta arrived, then the lemon for our drinks, then our salads (many didn't get what they ordered) and the ingredients were spread thin. My spaghetti arrived later, barely warm enough to not be sent back, I was ready to eat! At the time I would expect a dessert tray to be presented, the remaining orders of bruschetta arrived, and I didn't find any dessert offerings. My server asked management for a comp, which was denied. I decided not to waste any of my time or energy on the manager, who was not present, and I tipped my server well, knowing what she had to work with. DaVincis Table was evidently a nice place, but my first experience there was disappointing and strange! Hopefully they can get it straightened out. I'll be in town for six more weeks working, but there are many other places to discover while I'm here, and I won't be going back here. Good luck, it seems to be hit or miss here! read more

A nice local Italian place in Burlington. We went Friday evening a little before 8pm and they quoted us a 20 minute wait, but we were seated in less than 5 minutes. They have their normal menu and daily specials. My husband ordered the daily special of Tuscan steak tortellini and I ordered lasagna from the menu. Both meals came with salad and garlic bread. The bread definitely needs to be improved and my lasagna was decent. However, the Tuscan steak tortellini dish needs to be on the menu full-time. It was absolutely amazing and my only regret was not ordering it too. Service was top notch and our server checked on us and made sure we always had drinks and our water refilled. read more

Dinner tonight with my husband. This restaurant is always a hit and miss for me. The ambiance and service is a 9 but sometimes the food leaves a lot to be desired. Our appetizer (brushetta bread) was good, fresh. The side salads are small, even charged $4 extra to substitute for the spinach salad. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo add a blackened chicken breast. He ordered the Spaghetti Mona Lisa. The dishes came out hot. The Alfredo sauce... as it cooled down the oil separated and ran to the side of the bowl. The chicken breast was a little more than blackened to the point of being dry. Husband said that his dish was pretty good. read more

I've been to Da Vinci's table twice now for date nights, and we've had a great time both occasions! We love the ambiance, the food, and the staff is always very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The pesto tortellini is so good, and my boyfriend loves their gluten free pizza. He has celiacs and they have good gluten free options here. The drinks are also always very yummy, as is the bread. Food and drinks always come out quick, and we've never had any issues here. Highly recommend! read more

Food was very good for my Grandmother, her sister, and my mother for Mother's Day today. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily special fried mozzarella myself, and the chicken lasagna. My only complaint was that there was a LARGE amount of grease on both of my personal dishes, and I'm not inclined to order them again. My wife and I tried Da Vinci's table for our anniversary dinner on Feb. 26. This is a good local Italian restaurant in Burlington which serves anything from Pizza to some fancier entree's. I called ahead to see if we could make a reservation and was told that they don't take reservations but if we arrived before a certain time on Friday evening they were unlikely to be on a wait. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and seated in what looks like an enclosed patio with large glass windows and plants growing outside. It's a very pleasant location in the restaurant to have dinner. I recommend it. Service was excellent. Our orders were taken promptly and bread was brought to us. My wife had the chicken cacciatore and I had a Italian style sirloin tips over noodles. Both dishes were good, but not outstanding. Salads were pretty basic thought my blue cheese dressing was very very good. We split a New Orleans Style Bread Pudding for dessert. It was outstanding! If you go to Da Vinci's, I highly recommend it. read more

The five star rating is on the complete dining experience -- it takes a team. And this team had it going on-- from the front door where we were warmly greeted, to the kitchen where our delicious meals were prepared, to our spotless table which someone had cleaned, to our AMAZING server, Carson, who was well trained, personable and eager to please, to the exit where we were thanked for coming. This was that type of experience tonight. We were with friends although we were not celebrating. The last time we had dined here with friends was seven months earlier. One friend had lost his wife in the meantime and the memories of last being together brought sorrow. However the entire dining experience, especially from Carson our server, left us all smiling and grateful for beautiful memories and a lovely meal. read more

Two ate for $45 before tip. Phenomenal ambiance and decor. Low light, nice dining. Many well dressed patrons on date nights and casual dress present as well. The French onion soup was superb, thick, hearty and very flavorful. Their blue cheese dressing is really great and recommend it highly if you have a taste for it. Best Italian food in the Triad hands down!!! I visited Da Vinci's Table with about 7 people and all of us raved over our food, the atmosphere inside and outside. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. They seemed like they genuinely want their guests to have a positive experience, and we definitely did. I got the chicken Alfredo which is one of my favorite dishes, and it was the best I've ever had!! The garlic knots were really good but not hot when served, that's the only complaint I have. The inside and outside decor of this place is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It definitely would be a great date night spot. I can't wait to go back!! read more

I had no idea this place was here. I think they should do more advertising as I've been living here for seven years. This is one of those restaurants you wish were closer to you so you could eat there more often, and our lunch there today reminded us of that - a perfect meal in an attractive setting. We ordered a 10" Pizza with Pepperoni (thin crust), and Veal Parmigiana (with a side of Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, and a House Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing). And, of course, we started the meal with excellent, complimentary Garlic Knots - just add a touch of salt. The pizza here is absolutely perfect to our way of thinking - incredibly tasty thin crust; perfect baked; fresh, sharp tasting tomato sauce, with the barest hint of sweetness; plenty of perfectly gooey cheese; and the absolute freshest tasting pepperoni we've run across - the quality of the ingredients explodes in the flavor! The Veal Parmigiana was outstanding, as well. The quality of the veal, and the care in the preparation, is evident here too, and the taste is sublime when paired with the thin spaghetti and rich meat sauce. This is a dish so often messed up by restaurants, but not here. The house salad is a bit different, with a little celery, onion, and shredded carrot along with the chopped lettuce, and then topped with house made, perfect croutons, and finally their signature sweet & hot pickles -and they have some nice heat! Add an exceptional blue cheese dressing, and you've got yourself a great salad. We don't often finish a lunch meal with a dessert, but we made an exception here because they were offering Strawberry Shortcake, and it proved an excellent ending to an outstanding dining experience. Their special for today was, strangely enough, Roasted Turkey with Stuffing and corn as a side dish. I had to try that, so I got an order to go for dinner tonight. I did taste it, and it is excellent - real turkey breast, nicely roasted, with a full flavored stuffing. This meal added an exclamation point to what has been an exceptional week of great food - both from old favorites (Saffron, Koshary, Dixie Express, and now here) and new finds (New Tops China, Reno's Pizza, Mi Taqueria, Pantry Fried Chicken, and La Casa Dorada) - wow, this pretty much covers all the food groups, and I still have dinner to look forward to. read more

We have just moved to The Villages at Brookwood and have been exploring the culinary options both in Burlington and Greensboro. Have found several to our liking in Greensboro but Burlington has been harder until our landlord suggested Da Vinci's Table. Have been three times now and really love it.
