There really are no vegetarian options if you want something other than salad or pizza. If you are a vegan the only item you can eat is salad without cheese on it. Otherwise all but one of the entries have meat sauce on them. The eggplant parmigiana was not that tasty. The calamari appetiser was moist and chewy. It did not have any fried crunchiness. None of the dishes any of us ordered were bad but none were good either. We sat outside which was nice, but had to get up and find our own silverware and napkins. read more

Eating spaghetti (Vermicelli) and meatballs with meat sauce. Not impressed at all. The meat sauce tastes like it's out of a can and not homemade? ( If it is homemade it's terrible) Meatballs are bland and not seasoned well and small. They have that high school lunch snap when you bite into them. The meal came with a salad served with pickles on top? Never in my life, at home with family, or at any Italian Resturant had pickles sliced up on top of a salad. The meal was served with garlic bread also and didn't taste like garlic bread? Other small details... Vinegar and Oil bottles were sticky and looked like they weren't clean. Server disappeared for long periods of time... In my opinion, I would avoid the S/M's... (Should have more options then vermicelli?) Side note this is my first time here and didn't try anything else. Good food but not what it used to be. We dinned here this past Saturday while paying for a sitter for a nice romantic evening we unfortunately don't get to do much anymore with young kids. The table behind us had two very loud and disgusting men (one wearing a ripped down tank top shirt exposing half his chest and using very foul language the entire meal), and table across the isle was a table with 3 kids/babies screaming and being horribly obnoxious. No one from the wait staff showed any concern to them or anyone around them, letting these tables ruin dinner for everyone else around. If you are going to have this type of restaurant with these prices, you need to maintain a certain decorum and deal with the riffraff. We are not snobby, enjoy a good backyard greasy burger like anyone else, but when you make a point to dress up, pay a baby sitter, and go to a "nice" restaurant, you expect it to be a "nice" restaurant. You shouldn't have to deal with this. read more

Decided to eat here while moving my daughter into college. Lovely atmosphere with a very old school restaurant vibe (in the best way). I had the lasagna which was very good and a huge portion at a reasonable price. My daughter had chicken parmigiana and said it was also good. Only thing unusual was that it had a meat sauce instead of plain tomato. Caesar salads included with the meal were very fresh and a nice side. Garlic knots had a very good and pronounced yeasty flavor. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Very solid restaurant, will certainly be back. read more

WOW! We had an amazing late lunch/early dinner at Da Vinci's. The prices are great for the food quality and amount. The crab dip and calamari were amazing. We both got subs (10/10). We sat outside and our puppy was able to join us which was an added plus! Very dog friendly and accommodating. The outdoor area was decorated very nicely (see picture). We will definitely be back!! Took a party of six here for dinner. Good to make a reservation. Not an overly large area and it can get crowded. Entry/waiting area is very cramped. Great outside patio when the weather is nice The use of the term "Fine Italian American Dining" might be a slight exaggeration, but the food was overall enjoyed by the party. Service staff was helpful with recommendations, friendly and relatively prompt. Wine list is not overly large, but you should be able to find something to suit your taste. Started with the Rustic Brushetta (Crusty baguettes brushed with olive oil and garlic, topped with diced fresh Mozzarella, tomatoes and chiffonades of basil and drizzled with pesto oil) - Not bad, but the bread was so soaked with the oil that there was no crunch - texture issue. The restaurant regularly runs specials, Four of the party got the pasta with beef tips special which came with a white wine/parmesan sauce drizzled with a balsamic reduction. They all thought it was very good. Another guest had the salmon which was good. I had the pesto tortellini and added shrimp. it was okay, but didn't think it was outstanding. I am an Italian from New York. This place rocks!! The red sauce is excellent, several cuts above the average resturant sauce. The spinach salad with the hot bacon dressing melts in your mouth. Decided to come to this restaurant on 6/12/20 because this was one of the few in the area taking diners on Friday at the time. Unfortunately this was a horrible decision, which will not be repeated. We arrived at 6 pm and we were seated promptly. From there the service was no existent. From that point on we say other diners come in, get service, drinks were ordered, delivered, and they received there food. However we never received an opportunity to have our drink orders taken. We attempted to be patient, unfortunately, no one attempted to rectify this situation before we left at 7 10 pm. read more

Oh I am very happy that we were able to dine outside during COVID-19. We were visiting as my son is heading to college and we were craving a good steak dinner. DaVinci's table did not disappoint. Our hostess was very helpful and chatty which is nice, and our waitress named Helen was also very helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal. My wife and I have eaten at Da Vinci's Table a number of times and have always enjoyed the experience. Tonight we decided to try their take out because I wasn't feeling well enough to go out. What a mistake! My wife ordered the Cheese Ravioli with a House Salad. The ravioli was cold and had very little cheese on top of the sauce. I ordered the Gourmet Burger with crinkle cut fries. The burger was pretty good, but I didn't get any fries. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our meal and won't be ordering takeout from Da Vinci's Table again. read more

I wanted to love it because the waitress was so kind, but it was simply terrible. I ordered the Pesto Tortellini which came with a side salad. The lettuce tasted old and not very fresh. The tortellini itself was fine. It tasted like something you would buy at the store and throw together for the family on a work night. Far below restaurant quality. I added grilled chicken to the dish and was severely let down. It was so tough and dry that I could hardly even chew it. My boyfriend ordered a basic calzone: pepperoni and sausage. When he cut into the middle, pineapple was throughout the calzone and no sausage was to be found. When we told the waitress she ran back and told the kitchen of the mishap and she informed us they were making him a fresh one. After placing our initial order, it took us nearly 40 minutes to even get the food, let alone it was mediocre and not the right order. It took well over 20 minutes for the replacement calzone to come, and by the time it arrived, it was black and charred all over. Before even saying anything she informed us that they were making him a third one but she wanted to bring the blackened calzone out just in case. By the second hour of no calzone and staring at my bowl with the below average tortellini and hardened chicken, we just took the check....where they charged us for the calzone. The waitress was very kind throughout the nightmare but I would never again return. Something is very off in the quality of their kitchen staff. read more

As I was looking thru the Yelp reviews for a restaurant in the Burlington area I came across Fred B's review of Da Vinci's Table. And since we quite often agree on restaurants I read it. It appears that we not only have similar tastes in restaurants but we chose similar dishes! When I read that he had the Veal Parmigiana it sealed the deal and we were on our way. We went out later on a Sunday afternoon and they were not crowded at all except for a fairly large group for an anniversary party in a private room. As we entered the restaurant, People from the anniversary party started to arrive. And while we were eating our salad the honorees arrived. We started with the Bruschetta as an appetizer and it was served quickly. There were six pieces of a tasty bread with the cubed tomatoes and parsley and a very light seasoning. You could only taste the oil and a slight flavor of vinegar and nothing else. This needs to be improved in my opinion. Mary ordered the basic Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and it comes with a house salad. I ordered the small Veal Parmigiana which also comes with Spaghetti and Meat sauce. It appears that they do not have a Marinara Sauce, or I missed it, as that is what I usually get when I order this dish. For a slight charge I upgraded the side salad to a Anti-Pasto salad, which was an excellent choice for $3.00. The side salad included lettuce, cucumbers and shredded carrots. The Antipasto Salad has salad greens with Genoa Salami Capicola, Pepperoni, Ripe Olives, Pepperoncini and their own special blend of Italian Dressing, They make their own dressings here and they are delicious. Mary enjoyed her meal very much as I did the spaghetti as well. However, when my meal was served I was warned that the plate was very hot. Knowing that the Veal Parmigiana is put under a flame to melt the cheese just before serving that is to be expected. But when I looked at the plate it was obvious that the cook left it under the flames too long because the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses they put on top where almost melted away and the veal itself was vey crusty on the edges. The meat sauce was good and the veal was very tasty other than the crunchy portions. We also learned that they make their own desserts and since they are closed on Mondays the choices are more limited on Sundays. But the had my favorite Coconut Cream Pie and Mary had the Coconut Caramel which is an ice cream pie. We enjoyed both, but said, if we were to come back, we would ask for the Coconut Caramel pie, if they have it be cut and left out to soften up a while be fore we are ready to eat it, it was frozen very hard. As we were driving home we couldn't decide if we would drive the approximately 60 mile round trip again just for a meal. If we were in the area it would probably warrant a return visit though. read more

I ate here with my ex-wife on 7-28-18 at about 8pm. Service: The place was busy but the wait staff was right on top of serving every table. They were at their tables when they were needed and gone when they weren't. Food: Everything was good. From my spaghetti meal to her spinach salad. I am not generally a fan of Angel Hair pasta but theirs was great with their meat & mushroom sauce. Prices: Very reasonable. Some meals come in a more affordable lunch size and price that is offered all day long. (There are more expensive dishes but they tend to be meals with seafood or more pricier meat in it.) The food, service and prices were so good that I actually gave a 20% tip. So rarely does the restaurant and staff get the hat-trick of FSP that a 20% tip is warranted. read more

We have been coming here since it opened and have always had great service and delicious food. Last night was not that. I completely understand the short staff dilemma that the service industry is experiencing. We were seated immediately on the patio as requested. From there, things went downhill. We were not provided the food specials, water or silverware. The salads brought out were definitely not fresh. The lettuce was brown and wilted. To add to our dismay, our server kept disappearing for sometimes up to 15 to 20 minutes. The main courses of pasta and ribeye were fair at best. I saw no manager present. It looked like they had plenty of waitstaff as I counted 7 servers on the patio alone so I don't think staffing was the issue. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident as we love DaVincis. read more
