Hey family! This by far is my favorite bagel spot. For a while it really had me in a chokehold as I was going almost every week. I'm happy to say that after my first time trying it last year that I continue to go and support it. The service is always great and my food comes out spectacular. I have zero complaints. Just with any place, depending on when you go, it can easily be a little wait. I came in this morning on my day off and ordered the cruel summer on everything sourdough. It has scallion cream cheese, egg, bacon, and hot honey. I also tried the hash brown. I was pleasantly surprised because it was seasoned. Most times hash browns are very plain but this one was not. I opted to sit in and enjoy my breakfast. They had seating with standard tables and chairs. Anytime I've come in, it's always nice and clean. Needless to say, check it out. There are so many varieties of not only bagels but they also have wraps and croissants. So you can customize to your liking. Although, I'm a southern Belle, the New Yorkers have stamped this as a supreme bagel spot. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have. read more

I love Sedgefield Bagel and stopping by to pick up fresh bagels when vet I can. I often call ahead and pick up, but they do have a dining area with several tables to sit and eat if you'd like. The staff at this spot is always welcoming, they offer a huge selection of bagel flavors, as long as you get there on the earlier side. They also offer a great variety of cream cheese flavors,as well as breakfast and lunch sandwich options. Food is always fresh and some of the best bagels you'll find in the area! One of my favorite bagel spots in town. I want to say their bagels are made offsite and I've never had a bad bagel from them. A lot of different flavors and a more extensive menu than you'd think. Service is always good as you're greeted kindly and they're very welcoming. The hot toppings (ie eggs, bacon etc) are made to order and they have a nice variety of cream cheeses as well. An excellent local spot for a bagel. They have outstanding service and it's tidy inside. After sampling a few of their bagels, I can confidently say that their classic and cheese crusted bagels are excellent. Poppy seed and everything bagels are nice too. Experience: I finally found the best bagels in NC, and they're almost 2 hours from me. Please come to Charlotte one day, we need bagels badly! You can tell the bagels are NY style and made with love. Still my favorite place to get a loaded deli sandwich or bagel in this area of town. I mean, all these 5-star reviews can't be wrong, right? You should definitely believe it. If you come in here, you're gonna get a loaded sandwich, especially if you love it on a fresh bagel like I do. My favorite is to get the club and swap out the cheese for one of their flavored cream cheeses, especially the bacon scallion cream cheese, yum! Of course, the specialty here is bagels, and you won't be disappointed there either. All the bagels are made fresh daily by the folks at New Garden Bagels, which even the most discerning bagel tastes would agree are really darn good. My favorite is probably an egg everything bagel, after that would be sourdough, onion, or asiago cheese. Nothing like getting a half dozen or dozen to feed a crowd. Every time I come here, I'm blown away by how good it is! We originally went here for a Yelp event, so shoutout to Yelp for helping us find one of the best bagel spots! They do have a sister location in Oak Ridge with the same yummy bagels and some menu as well. The bagels are always fresh and flavorful. They have a ton of options when it comes to bagels and sandwiches. I usually do the Vinnie sandwich if I'm coming for lunch. On my last visit I got it on a Asiago bagel and the flavor pairing was divine! The Vinnie is loaded with yummy meats and I love the herb aioli and balsamic on it! (4.5 stars) This Sedgefield shopping center spot has been home to a number of eateries over the years, and the recently-opened Sedgefield Bagels & Deli is the latest to try to stick. The sister location (Oak Ridge Bagels & Deli) seems to be doing well for itself, and the bagels themselves have the proper pedigree (Long Island by way of New Garden bagels), both of which are positive indicators. Another check in the plus column: selection. There were plenty of bagel varieties to choose from when I stopped by this morning. The sandwich offerings include classic egg/cheese/meat or deli combinations, but there is also a willingness here to go outside the box. This includes embracing Southern ingredients (BBQ pork, pimento, hot honey) and upping the non-bagel offerings (everything from salads to loaded fries to Belgian waffles). I stuck to the tried-and-true for my first visit and went with a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on an everything. It was as tasty a rendition as I've had in the other New York-style bagel shops in the area, and at $6.49, it was slightly less than what High Point Bagel is charging these days. As with most bagel shops, seating is limited, but Sedgefield Bagels does have a few tables at its disposal. Since they are new, this may be a pending addition, but a wall menu behind the counter would definitely improve the ordering process. Given the quality (New Garden Bagels can do no wrong), variety, and convenience (about eight minutes from work), I am glad for Sedgefield Bagels' arrival, and I hope they are able to last. read more

Stopped in to Sedgefield Bagel a couple weeks ago and ordered a couple breakfast sandwiches, assorted bagels and shmear. Everything was great. The sandwiches were very tasty. If you like a dense chewy bagel this is your place. The assorted bagels we ordered were all just as good. They have several flavors to choose from and all the ones we tried were good. We toasted them and added the smoked salmon shmear and it made for a happy mornings. Service was great and the space is cozy but definitely plenty of room if you want to eat in. They were moderately busy when we visited on a Sunday morning. Keep up the great work. We'll be back. read more

I stumbled upon this bagel place just in passing on my way to work. The area it is in is excellent. When I arrived, I was promptly helped, and the employee was very knowledgeable about everything there. It is a women owned business, and it's a New York theme bagel spot. I ordered the sausage egg and cheese bagel on an egg bagel. Many bagel choices. The next day, I ordered the bakers' dozen. It came with 2 spectacular cream cheeses. I have been craving a bagel and a schmear forever. Seriously, like it's been way too long. There is no bakery near enough that makes them. It's all muffin this and muffin that. I had my chance to have a bagel with a Yelp event. When I saw the address it became instantly clear that this was right next to my old vets so I had an idea how to get there. Still, it's a bit of a haul. This is totally doable though early in the am. I pulled up and knew I was at the right place due to the amount of cars. Oh yeah, we lurves us some bagels! I am a bit of a plain Jane when it comes to initial trying so I got a plain bagel with a schmear lightly toasted. Anywhere else I have said lightly toasted it's hard & crunchy. Not here, these folks get it! Now, their bagels aren't gluey soft which is good, but they could be a little more chewy. The cream cheese had a nice tart flavor to it so I was a happy camper. I don't know if they have hot coffee, I'm sure they do it just wasn't obvious. It's an open shop with the kitchen in the back, hidden away. The staff were super busy but super nice. This was my first experience with these bagels and I was not disappointed. I am glad to know that there is a decent bagel shop in the area and incredibly grateful that they aren't too close that this will become habit forming (as much as I love them, my waistline doesn't lol) read more

I received a very cheerful greeting which made my morning much better and had me looking more forward to trying the food. Introduced myself and (I hope I remember her name correctly/) Jennifer let me know that I can choose whatever's on the menu. Explained my options of sides, what bread products I can have the sandwiches made with, if I wanted breakfast or lunch and my options of drink. I chose the chicken Caesar wrap: grilled chicken breast, Parmesan cheese, lettuce and Caesar dressing and a cup of coffee. There was a fellow yelper there, we took a few pics together. I had the coffee for the ride back and the wrap a little later. Being a transplant from NY and calling NC my home for the last 13 yrs, I admit that I crave and miss authenticity of delicatessen food. I have made it my personal quest to find the real bagels. I've gone out of my way to taste bagels at various locations with my current favorite being Lox Stock and Bagels. I've been to the little house on 64, servicing High Point and the biggest attraction there is the owner, not the bagels. So carefully I entered Sedgefield Bagel, ordered one bagel, the everything and proceeded home to taste. I am so impressed! This bagel was very good! It had flavor, still held up nice as I bought in the late afternoon, toasted beautifully. Yes, this is a tough location, but I would highly recommend you try. If you know what a bagel should taste like, I don't think you will be disappointed. This is my new outlet for bagels. read more
