Boots and Bourbon is a really great spot. The atmosphere is nice, the food is good, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I was honestly surprised by the vegetarian options here. Most pubs and burger places around the Triad don't have many veggie choices besides a salad, but they actually have a good selection. I tried the pretzel bites and they were really good, super flavorful and came with a nice dipping sauce. I'd also suggest checking out the veggie burger or the grain bowl. I only went for lunch, but I heard the vibe gets even better in the evening with line dancing and karaoke. I'll definitely have to head back sometime to check out the night scene.

Friday night Live music, $10 Old Fashioned, and lots of great appetizers made for a great girls night out. We had wings, truffle fries, pretzel bites and cactus cut chips (my fav). Really enjoyed the dip that came with the chips - just enough spice added to a ranch style sauce.

Stopped by this past weekend to grab some lunch and it seemed we picked the perfect time! Not a long wait at all for seating or food! Started with the appetizer special which was a sampler of apps, and our server was nice enough to sub in some pretzel bites for us. All of the apps were good though, hot and fresh and even more importantly, tasty. We got the mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites, and bangin shrimp. For the main dish I got the spicy smash burger and added bacon. The burger was pretty tasty, both patties were juicy and overall it was the perfect spice. I will say, the burger patties themselves didn't really seem like smash style patties, they were fairly thicker and seemed to be normal grilled patties. Having two was almost too much burger to bun/topping ratio in my opinion. Fries could have been a little more seasoned and crispy as well, but that's more of a personal preference. Also got the Dark and Stormy cocktail as well. It was a nice and refreshing drink to get the meal started, two rums with lime juice, vanilla, and soda water. Overall, the meal was pretty good, and would still come back again!

We were there early evening and they were not busy yet. Our server was great and very attentive. They had a great bourbon list and the cocktail menu was good. I had a Westen Ginger. For our meals my husband had the burger. The burger was cooked correctly and he said the homemade chips were really good. I had the Carolina bowl add grill shrimp. It was really good. We are looking forward to going back again

IYKYK..just in case you don't..well I visited two times today. First was with a friend for lunch, but could not have a cocktail (was working) After work drinks with my bestie! I had an Expresso martinis. They were made well. The service was great, not busy for a Friday after 5pm. It was a good vibe and enjoyed both visits.

We had such an amazing time. They place have such a fun vibe, from the western décor and little details to the saddles (of course I had to get a photo on one ). I tried their Western Ginger cocktail and loved it. We also had the black bean burger and the breakfast-for-dinner cheeseburger, which was definitely a winner. I was able to swapped the fries for their truffle & Parmesan fries, and wow... totally worth it! The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and it just felt like one of those places you instantly want to come back to.

Four stars because Daphne (waitress) and the manager (Dena? Diana? Diane?) made it right. There were three of us. We were there during soft launch and were aware of this. Two ordered basic make your own burgers. I ordered a burger off menu. No over the top special requests. Maybe 20 people in the whole restaurant. It was 45min to an hour before we got our food. The manager walked over to tell us that our food went to the wrong table. I found that hard to believe with two custom burgers. But she acknowledged our extra long wait. Even then it took about 20 minutes to get food. I commented to my friend that if they can't handle this small of a crowded the. They are in trouble when this place gets packed. When we finally got our food it was hot and delicious. Unfortunately, I had to wolf mine down. I was on the clock to get back home and had overstayed. Daphne was attentive early on in our service. Then we die t see her. Perhaps she went on break but about the time we finally got our food we saw her again. Could have been she was working the patio too? I'll be back to Boots & Bourbon once they get their feet under them. Hoping the management reads this. 1) while thar dragonfruit based shot of the day was excellent why was it not bourbon based? It's an opportunity to get folks to try what is in your namesake "Bourbon". I get it. Bourbon can be an acquired taste. Introduce me to different bourbons. Have a $5 batched bourbon based cocktail. 2) The Kentucky Lemonade is made with Jack Daniela which is from Tennessee. A liquor that would be a bourbon except for the addition of the Lincoln county process hence a it's a whiskey. Why is it called Kentucky Lemonade? Is it because JD isn't a bourbon so Kentucky lemonade isn't based on a KY bourbon?

Enjoyed dinner with 2 of my girlfriends. We went on a Thursday night and not very crowded. They had live music which added a nice ambiance. I ordered the 3,Barbacoa tacos but they were out of barbacoa. I went with the ground beef on corn tortillas. Mmmmm! My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and said they were very good. The waitress recommended the cheesecake and it was a fabulous suggestion. We got the salted caramel and shared a slice. Soooo delicious! I'm sorry I didn't get pics of the food as we dove right in. I was disappointed in that for a western themed venue, I would have expected a few more Texas style appetizers and entrees. But this is still a place worth trying.

First time trying and it was great! Stopped in on a Tuesday and was glad to join in on the music bingo/trivia combo. Unique compared to other places in town and super fun! I tried the wings with 2 different flavors, the house bourbon and the tequila lime. Both were great and the wings were cooked perfectly. Fast and friendly service. Nice and open on the inside with ample outdoor patio seating, heaters, and options for various games like pool and several slots. Will definitely be back!

Boots & Bourbon is such a fun spot! Laid back atmosphere with festive western-inspired decor. I think I even saw decorated saddles for a photo-op! I went for a ladies night dinner. We ordered an appetizer and each got an entree then shared a dessert! Everything was delicious & their portions are generous. Plus we all had a speciality beverage - which was yummy to pair with our meals! We don't drink bourbon...but there is something for everyone! Don't let the name suede you from visiting - though their bourbon selection is huge for those who enjoy it! The service was friendly and helpful with recommendations too! Plus they have different events weekly like live-music, trivia & karaoke some nights! I look forward to going back!

First time here and we sure did enjoy it! Joseph hosts music bingo on Tuesday nights and it was so much fun! We split the chicken sandwich with crispy chips and it was perfectly fried and seasoned! We plan to come back and try the burger next time!

We went for the mozzarella sticks but got so much more! The food was so delicious. The wings and app plater was definitely something to write home about! Our waitresss were awesome! Daphne is the very best of the best from answering the phone when I wanted to see if they still had their mozzarella sticks all the way to up selling us on yummy drinks and delicious food! The restaurant is great for big parties or a small group! Clean, friendly, delicious!

Do they have WiFi? Is this a good place to work/study?

Unfortunately, I am not sure. I was there at about 3:45 pm & it was quiet & peaceful. However, I was told that I had just missed the lunch crowd. I only used my phone & it worked fine. It is very a very big space & there is outside seating too,

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

Arrived 30+ minutes after opening and was told the French toast sticks were "still in the oven." Ordered shrimp and grits. The peppers and onions weren't charred--they were burnt. The grits texture was off, sausage was chopped into unrecognizable bits, and one shrimp wasn't cleaned properly (which was enough to end the party for me). The sauce had good flavor, but it couldn't save the dish. Mentioned it to our server--got an "oh, okay" and a walk-off. No follow-up, no fix. Tried to order the French toast sticks for dessert...still "in the oven." At that point, I had to laugh and ask is the oven on? The cook then offered to make an individual serving just for us. What??? To be fair, my significant other enjoyed his meal. But it just wasn't worth the drive from Winston-Salem. Really wanted to love it. Maybe I will try dinner. Cause this wasn't it.

I inquired about the wine tasting for $5.00 and was told you would receive 2 tastings of white wine. Perhaps they do reds on a different night but I didn't ask. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.
