First time here and we sure did enjoy it! Joseph hosts music bingo on Tuesday nights and it was so much fun! We split the chicken sandwich with crispy chips and it was perfectly fried and seasoned! We plan to come back and try the burger next time!

IYKYK..just in case you don't..well I visited two times today. First was with a friend for lunch, but could not have a cocktail (was working) After work drinks with my bestie! I had an Expresso martinis. They were made well. The service was great, not busy for a Friday after 5pm. It was a good vibe and enjoyed both visits.

Enjoyed dinner with 2 of my girlfriends. We went on a Thursday night and not very crowded. They had live music which added a nice ambiance. I ordered the 3,Barbacoa tacos but they were out of barbacoa. I went with the ground beef on corn tortillas. Mmmmm! My friend ordered the shrimp tacos and said they were very good. The waitress recommended the cheesecake and it was a fabulous suggestion. We got the salted caramel and shared a slice. Soooo delicious! I'm sorry I didn't get pics of the food as we dove right in. I was disappointed in that for a western themed venue, I would have expected a few more Texas style appetizers and entrees. But this is still a place worth trying.

We had such an amazing time. They place have such a fun vibe, from the western décor and little details to the saddles (of course I had to get a photo on one ). I tried their Western Ginger cocktail and loved it. We also had the black bean burger and the breakfast-for-dinner cheeseburger, which was definitely a winner. I was able to swapped the fries for their truffle & Parmesan fries, and wow... totally worth it! The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and it just felt like one of those places you instantly want to come back to.

Four stars because Daphne (waitress) and the manager (Dena? Diana? Diane?) made it right. There were three of us. We were there during soft launch and were aware of this. Two ordered basic make your own burgers. I ordered a burger off menu. No over the top special requests. Maybe 20 people in the whole restaurant. It was 45min to an hour before we got our food. The manager walked over to tell us that our food went to the wrong table. I found that hard to believe with two custom burgers. But she acknowledged our extra long wait. Even then it took about 20 minutes to get food. I commented to my friend that if they can't handle this small of a crowded the. They are in trouble when this place gets packed. When we finally got our food it was hot and delicious. Unfortunately, I had to wolf mine down. I was on the clock to get back home and had overstayed. Daphne was attentive early on in our service. Then we die t see her. Perhaps she went on break but about the time we finally got our food we saw her again. Could have been she was working the patio too? I'll be back to Boots & Bourbon once they get their feet under them. Hoping the management reads this. 1) while thar dragonfruit based shot of the day was excellent why was it not bourbon based? It's an opportunity to get folks to try what is in your namesake "Bourbon". I get it. Bourbon can be an acquired taste. Introduce me to different bourbons. Have a $5 batched bourbon based cocktail. 2) The Kentucky Lemonade is made with Jack Daniela which is from Tennessee. A liquor that would be a bourbon except for the addition of the Lincoln county process hence a it's a whiskey. Why is it called Kentucky Lemonade? Is it because JD isn't a bourbon so Kentucky lemonade isn't based on a KY bourbon?

First time trying and it was great! Stopped in on a Tuesday and was glad to join in on the music bingo/trivia combo. Unique compared to other places in town and super fun! I tried the wings with 2 different flavors, the house bourbon and the tequila lime. Both were great and the wings were cooked perfectly. Fast and friendly service. Nice and open on the inside with ample outdoor patio seating, heaters, and options for various games like pool and several slots. Will definitely be back!

This is a great spot to grab a drink and some food! I recently stopped in for lunch. We started the meal with the appetizer sampler. My sister asked about the pretzel bites and the appetizer sampler and our server asked if we wanted to add the pretzel bites to our sampler and swap it for something else. I thought that was really nice of the waitress. She was very kind and tentative. The sampler was really good. The shrimp were my favorite part. They were cooked perfectly and had this yummy sweet and spicy sauce on them. I got the kickin chicken sandwich with chips. The chicken sandwich was fresh and had a really good flavor. My sister got the chicken tacos and loved them. My boyfriend ordered the spicy smash burger and liked it but it wasn't really a smash burger. It was more of a double burger than a smash burger. We enjoyed the lunch and would probably come back, but I think I'd mainly come back for drinks and appetizers. The meal was a bit expensive for a casual lunch so it's not some where I'd go often. The vibe is really nice though and I think it's a great spot for drinks.

Boots & Bourbon is such a fun spot! Laid back atmosphere with festive western-inspired decor. I think I even saw decorated saddles for a photo-op! I went for a ladies night dinner. We ordered an appetizer and each got an entree then shared a dessert! Everything was delicious & their portions are generous. Plus we all had a speciality beverage - which was yummy to pair with our meals! We don't drink bourbon...but there is something for everyone! Don't let the name suede you from visiting - though their bourbon selection is huge for those who enjoy it! The service was friendly and helpful with recommendations too! Plus they have different events weekly like live-music, trivia & karaoke some nights! I look forward to going back!

We went for the mozzarella sticks but got so much more! The food was so delicious. The wings and app plater was definitely something to write home about! Our waitresss were awesome! Daphne is the very best of the best from answering the phone when I wanted to see if they still had their mozzarella sticks all the way to up selling us on yummy drinks and delicious food! The restaurant is great for big parties or a small group! Clean, friendly, delicious!

The Apps and drinks were amazing. Really loved the cheese sticks but was very sad to hear they are temporary. BRING THEM BACK FULL TIME PLEASE!! Daphne was a gem! She was so fun and made an amazing smoked old fashion. Her service and attention was greatly appreciated!! We also got there for karaoke night, did not know that before hand, every Wednesday night, that was fun. Did not sing but loved watching others jump on stage and give it thier all. It was a great date night. Was not terribly impressed with the buyer or steak. They were not bad but nothing special.

Anthony is my fav bartender but everyone does an amazing job. I love the on the menu jalapeno strawberry margarita, but like this night pictured if I want something else he will make it for me ! And he's never made me a bad drink ! (This wasn't my first rodeo here ). On to the food. This wasn't my first time having the collard sausage dip and I could eat it with my hands it was so delicious freshly made and creamy ! This is hands down the best dip I've ever had and to top it off the fried pita !! My only complaint is there aren't enough pitas to dip ratio but I will order more next time. And I found the dip greatly paired with the catfish. ( no judgement) The catfish is something I've had before but I didn't have the pleasure of the waffles the last time and let me tell you ! This is a work of art. I want to personally meet whoever made this idea of layered fish , greens and waffles but it was heavenly. And I wanted to eat it all but my stomach just wouldn't allow it. I did however heat the leftover the following morning for breakfast and they were still perfect. Last but not least the Mac and cheese was creamy, noodles were perfectly cooked and it was seasoned to a T. I'm picky on Mac and cheese being my favorite food and they do it justice. See you all next weekend!

The dip is always so delicious - it's one of my favorite appetizers ever. The pita is really good too. I think they recently started adding cheese to it too which is good but not really necessary in my opinion. At first, they brought us pita that was really burnt but our waiter told us she requested a fresh batch without us even saying anything which I think is great service. I also tried their garlic parm boneless wings & they were so good. I loved how seasoned & salty they were, although they might be too salty for some people. I really loved it though! Their cocktail menu is also really interesting & creative. It's mostly whiskey of course but they do have other spirits. I tried the peanut butter & jelly Old fashioned and it was surprisingly delicious. It really did taste like a PB&J so I highly recommend. The inside is small but there's a nice outdoor seating area too. This really is one of my favorite places to get food in the area BUT the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because anytime I've been there remotely close to closing, they definitely let you know & make you feel rushed. I'm not one to go to restaurants last minute when they're closing because I know how that can make it difficult for employees, but being somewhere 45 minutes before they close shouldn't warrant getting rushed. I've been there before just to have a few cocktails at the bar about 45 min before closing & had the same experience. I still really love this place & will keep going (but probably not within an hour or so of closing lol)

There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.
