It was a quick grab-and-go on the way... This has been on my list of places to try, & just so happened I was in the area. Based on other reviews, arriving early is a bonus here, as most items will sell out. I still had a nice selection to choose from and purchased 3 items. The service and greeting I received upon arrival are both solid reasons to return! I was welcomed in with a warm and hearty good morning as soon as my feet crossed the threshold. Of course, the pastries and baked goodness are what I came for. The words above the counter are what caught my eye initially, as I waited for two other guest ahead of me. After having some time to browse, I decided to try a few things. My selections included, an apricot danish, cinnamon bun, and an almond croissant. I have serious love for each one of these treats!! Tasty, fresh & delightful. I'd love to come here and enjoy the outdoor seating area when the weather is consistently warmer. The interior is painted and decorated in lovely colors and feels warm. They have fresh breads that are available for purchase as well. I spotted loaves of sourdough and baguettes behind the counter as well. The tea and coffee menu were missed by me this trip but yet another reason to return.

We picked these up from the Piedmont Triad farmers market. I reheated next day for brunch so yummy. The tomato pie was my favorite.

Always a great experience. The pastries are amazing, they do a nice job with the coffee, the team there is friendly and, people are in a good mood when they are buying delicious pastries. Now that the weather is getting warmer, their outdoor seating makes for a fun option for a leisurely morning bite. If you haven't, you need to give them a try!

One of the best recent additions to the Greensboro area. First and foremost, the French owner is friendly, approachable and super funny! The food: fresh, tasty and true to bakery form. There aren't many spots that make it better. The owner, and his French training, knows what he's doing. We had both savory and sweet items which were perfect. The homemade breads couldn't be better. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they make specialty French style focaccias, like a goat cheese and tomato rendition. Something you don't see anywhere else in town. Go...you won't be disappointed

I made a review earlier this week! I love this place and my credit card shows it. I may have gone 5x this week. The vibe and the customer service is great. I am on a mission to try the entire pastry display. I tried the macarons...omg every single solitary flavor is delightful! I also tried hot chocolate this week, delicious! A friend tried the pumpkin cinnamon roll and enjoyed it.

This quaint, French themed bakery is worth the visit. To start, the owner was very personable. He embodies great customer service-offered recommendations, had a great sense of humor + he shared his business story. To be honest, my interaction with him is why I will go back to this location. Now, let's get to the pastries. Everything looked delectable. I ordered the fruit pastry. The pastry included cherries and cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I plan to try the Pain au Chocolat next time.

Well strolling downtown Greensboro on the 4rh of July, I stumbled down an alley and saw this adorable place. I got a London fog tea and apple turnover and sat out in the alley way at a cutesy bistro table adorned with flowers. The pastry was very tasty and the tea was made just right. Customer service was on point too, very friendly staff. This place is a total gem.

What a gem of a find omw through during a return trip from Asheville! I've become infatuated with truly French ambiance...simplicity, quality, and small welcoming space doing what it does well. In true French fashion, their "to go" cups seemed to say "don't (go)"...sans lids, encouraging me to sit and enjoy the wonderful cortado and a pastry...no rush! The chef popped out from behind the counter to welcome my little maltese pup, who I am fairly certain would be quite content as cafe mascot lol! Their mutual admiration evident, I decided to sit at one of the cute outdoor tables and steal away with my croissants and pup while I could! Since I am always looking for locally owned and authentic spots (and bonus points for being a French one!) this cafe was a pleasant surprise. To owners...get yourselves on Google and other search (or don't...those of us who love you will be happy to keep you to ourselves!) Until next time...bisou bisou from Chloe and I in VA!

Best croissants in Greensboro! Breakfast in Paris is a quaint bakery located in an alley in downtown Greensboro (formally Baked GSO). The owner Julien is wonderful. Everything I've had there has been amazing. From the plain croissants, and a variety of others like chocolate, chocolate and almond, spinach and feta, full Monty (breakfast croissant), in addition to all their homemade breads and desserts, coffee and other beverages, you can't go wrong with anything you order. You won't be disappointed. This is a gem in downtown. Parking can be a little tricky, but there is parking in the middle lot in the back of the building off Washington St (pay attention to the parking signs). Julien and Breakfast in Paris is also at the Corner Market on Saturday mornings.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.

Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.
