Disappointed in their service. First, they forgot my soup, then brought it without the bread. And later when I asked if they can heat up the bear claw, the employee pointed me to the the microwave. There was no customers when we came in so can't blame it on being busy. read more

Was at Panera today and was ready to go with my order from a menu on the website. I have to order gluten free so I was nervous about going here. When I got there the person I spoke with said they couldn't guarantee anything GF, but had GF friendly options (basically this means there is a possibility of cross contamination in the kitchen, which isn't a gluten free kitchen). The person helping hadn't heard of what I was ordering. I was nervous about trying anything else so I chose not to get anything and sat down. Another lady came to get me and said they could still make me something that was catered to my needs. How thoughtful! I just figured I was going to wait until later and eat somewhere else. I swear to god it's this company's code to move at a glacial pace. Watching them make a sandwich in slow motion and watch them stop to talk to each other. This is a fast food restaurant. Especially when I have an order to go. Obviously if it's to go, I don't have time to sit here. I work near by and have 30 mins for lunch. They take up 15 mins of that time. It's ridiculous! If it weren't for the saving grace of their delicious cookies, I'd give this establishment 1 star. The food is by no means bad, but it is just simply way overpriced. I first started coming here in high school, when I was broke and had little to spend eating out. I'd feel ripped off whenever my friends dragged me along to come eat here. Now more than ten years after high school, and I still feel completely ripped off whenever I order something from Panera. I gave them 14 bucks out the door after tax and tip on my last visit for a "bowl" of pasta that was literally no larger than my fist and wouldn't even feed a toddler.... that "bowl" went along with a sorry looking stale elementary school cafeteria roll, and a small bag of chips....The asking price of more than 11 bucks is outrageous when all you get is 10 cents of pasta, a 5 cent roll, a bag of chips that'd run a dollar at a gas station, and a growling stomach from still being hungry after finishing your meal. I'd recommend staying clear of this company entirely. Unless you're okay with paying for a 99% profit margin. read more

Lately, the lunch time order wait has been atrociously long - there are a few people who have been employees for a long time, but it seems like there are a lot of newbies who lack experience and are excruciatingly slow. Food is like other Panera cafes - tasty but a bit over-priced. read more

I like panera as a coffee shop nothing else. Coffee tastes great especially hazelnut coffee....bagels are amazing. Lunch is just ok, nothing amazing ... I like the food at Panera. This review is about the cleanliness. Was there for lunch yesterday. Ordered MacNCheese. Was about to dig into it and noticed that the back of the spoon had what looked to be dried cheese on it. In the future will definitely inspect the silverware before using it. read more

People are normally friendly at this store except for today. Sunday and absolutely not busy. Carol is a young female who worked at the register. Unfortunately she was rude and not friendly. She was rushing to serve us when it was not busy. I asked her a few questions and gave me very kurt responses. Maybe she should work in the back instead of facing customers. read more

Who ever has this location should be fired. The worst service of a good product anywhere. I have been to many Panera's in Washington and California. Last two trips were awful.... I'm done. Today it took 20 mins to get my order to dine in. The place was a mess, food and garbage all over the place. Went in at 2 pm not a busy time. Everyone was in slow motion and acted like they were doing me a favor to service me. Sandwich sucked, fell apart on delivery, soup was ice cold. Service at the Bellevue location is getting worse and worse. Today I ordered a rapid pick up order with the app. No notice of them being delay on the app. After waiting for 20 minutes I asked the manager and he said it would be another 10 minutes. I am giving them location 1 star simply because of the rudeness of some of the staff working today! As I was standing in line to order my food the lady at the register yells out to me " it will be one moment ma'am! Are you here for an interview"! Which was ridicules what exactly made you think I was coming on for an interview! She didn't ask anyone else who was on line! Whatever that was not my biggest issue! I go on to order my food a pick 2 soup and simple sandwich ham and cheese I specifically asked for NO MUSTARD she repeated it I agreed! I give her my name and go on to wait for my order! As I'm waiting my order is up they call out the wrong name (she spelled it wrong) I let them know was me and my name was spelled wrong told them my actual name and they proceeded to call me by the wrong name! As I'm walking towards the counter to get my food 1 of your older workers darts in front of me as of she couldn't clearly see me standing there as we made eye contact literally stands in front of me as I'm speaking to the lady behind the counter and doesn't move an inch! The food here is decent enough and the staff are friendly and helpful. However there is one small irritation. Every time I go in they ask if I have a Panera card. No big deal. But they always ask if I want to start one. I've told them I don't want to and asked them to please not ask me anymore. The manager told me that they wouldn't be doing their job if they didn't ask me, it was their policy. Not really a big deal but corporate policy shouldn't trump customer service. read more

My family and I are visiting from out of the country and are staying down the street at the Hyatt. We've had Panera before and enjoyed it, so stopped in at this location for food to-go since we had to get to an appointment in dt Seattle. After grabbing our bagged items, we were on our way into town when we realized that our order was not complete - we were missing half of a sandwich and a smoothy (my child's entire meal :(). We made due with the food we did have with plans to try to get back by Panera later that evening. We didn't make it back that evening, so stopped in the next day, today. The woman at the register was very kind and understanding when I told her what had happened - we ordered lunch again and she said that she wouldn't charge for the items that we were shorted yesterday and that she would simply tell the crew in the back to add them to our order today. So, we go to the pick up area where the cashier is explaining this to the acting manager, Aliza. Aliza immediately responds to her saying that if we don't have our receipt or hadn't called the manager the day that it happened, they wouldn't be giving us any credit. I explained to Aliza that I had opted not to take a receipt, when asked at the counter, and that we were visiting from out of the country and were not able to call. With zero consideration for us as the customer, Aliza refused to provide us with the two items we had paid for the day prior but had not received. A managers primary role should be to ensure customer satisfaction - Aliza failed at this miserably. I do not recommend this specific Panera location under this management. read more

If you are ordering food to-go, ALWAYS check your order. I order for my office and literally every order has been incorrectly filled. The one time I didn't have time to check, I got the order back to my office and they left out three entire meals. One for me (I was eight months pregnant at the time), and two for our customers. I tried calling and emailing them with no response. So I tried calling and emailing Corporate. Again, with no response. The food isn't bad but your order will be incorrect, they will charge you for it, and then refuse to fix the issues. read more

We ordered a nearly $60 in food and to have it delivered. Received an email stating it had arrived. At 2PM we called to find out where our orders were. I was told over the phone that they have problems with Grub Hub delivery 85% of the time. Not sure why she thought that would make me feel better. I asked her when my food would be delivered. She said she didn't know. I said well what I need to know is when I'm going to get our food? She said I'll check and call you back. The answer back was Grub Hub couldn't find us!#$%? We are situated on a busy corner and our building takes up the whole corner. No phone call was ever made to us saying they couldn't find us. I asked to talk to a manager and was left on hold for 10 minutes! ??? I don't know what's going on over there, but I've never had service this bad here. I'm a big fan of Panera Bread. I have been to at least 6 locations now. However, I have been to this location only twice (last time was on Wednesday 12/16/15 for a quick dinner). This one is probably one of my least favorites.. Their quality of foods wasn't as good as the other locations. When I ordered a cheddar steak panini, I feel like they just threw stuff in the sandwich and just baked it or something. I didn't taste the usual quality texture of Panera Bread's foods that I have had from previous experiences at other places. The tables didn't get cleaned up often unless you went up to ask for it and the environment inside the store felt kinda dark compare to the other locations. Their mocha was also only 60% as good comparing to the one in Factoria. I might stop by again just for fast to-go meal, but I don't think I want to dine-in again. I don't know, maybe they are doing better at some specific times?? I can't tell. You guys decide. Panera Bread usually has good standard anyway. I just wanted a simple refreshing drink. I walked into Panera happy and smiling and ready for a refreshing drink. Yet was "greeted" by a woman wearing a ball cap that covered her eyes that mumbled something that I assumed was "I can help you.'" The employee had her head down and her name badge was turned so you couldn't see her name. After ordering the drink I was happy to walk away from the gloom and doom feeling at the register. Yet I was not given my proper change or receipt. I gave her a $20 and she gave me change for a $10. More mumbles came my way and she pulled out a calculator. As I said it's just a $10 back. I held the money out so she could see (If she was a visual person I thought that would help her). More time passed in silence as she "worked" the calculator and the mumbles of "oh no" became more pronounced. Now people started to come in behind me. Just a simple refreshing drink, I thought. Sadness hit that youth (she was in her 20's, so not that young) these days are so bad with basic money handling. I spoke firmly and said "it's just a $10 difference. Your drawer will not be off." Finally she gave me the correct change after asking me for the $7 back and I refused. Ahhhhh, transaction done and now time to quench my palate. I stood waiting as she stood there spaced out and the other cashier walked away. 'OH no, She has to make my drink too,' creeped in my mind. I stood there being thankful that I know how to count my money. (No reason to get mad) Then over 5 min passed and I walked over and asked for my drink and she slightly waved her hand and said something. ( I assumed it was there are others I have to ring up) My internal yoda kicked in...."One must be patient in life, yes." I asked the other cashier her name and was told TARA as the lady frowned. Finally Tara dropped off the drink with a mumble and swiftly walked away. The longest I have ever waited for just a drink. (I thought if I had a receipt I would know truly how long I waited, but oh well) Tara, this isn't the job for you. Please do Panera Bread a favor and leave. Please find your happiness and passion, and your life will be enjoyable. Panera Bread, I hope this paints a picture of how customer service goes wrong. read more

I really appreciated the Saturday staff on April 30. I had a boxed lunch catering order for 12 delivered. I called the store back after the delivery driver left and it was so easy. Used to love Panera and went to this location frequently. Everything about it went downhill in the last two years. I won't go there anymore and have developed an aversion to all Panera because of it. Poor quality food prep and about half of what you used to get. Some lettuce in the bottom of the bowl soaked in dressing just doesn't appeal. read more

This is the worst Panera I have ever been to. Service is well below par and when you ask for something it's like pulling teeth. I walked in this morning and every bit of coffee was gone and upon asking I get a "not sure, probably 10 minutes." yikes. Once the coffee comes out I look and no lids or covers. It's a bummer because I'm close to this place and it's convienent, but I'd rather drive or walk the extra 10 minutes. I've gave this place chances and it continues to fail. Panera over the years has gone downhill. I used to really love their food and felt like I got really great quality food at a decent price. The other day at the downtown Bellevue location I ordered an Asian Sesame salad with the chicken on the side and I got a pile of wilted lettuce with some fried sesame noodles (AND NOTHING ELSE). It was not appetizing at all. I am sure the salad dressing had aspartame in it. It was disgusting! The one thing I come for is a large ice tea unsweetened with lemon. They did not have that but offered me green tea iced instead. I asked if it was sweetened and the girl servicing me said no, but when I received it, it was very sweet, in a small cup, neon green like, and not available for refill... Not that I would even want one. So, in the end, I had a VERY SAD salad, without a drink for $14. Overall the experience was highly disappointing. I waited in line for over 15 minutes and for my food for well over 20 minutes. I am really disappointed in Panera and the company has lost my business. Funny, I heard on the news that they were getting rid of artificial preservatives, and GMOs and I did not see even a hint of that kind of food. read more

Most of the time This location is pretty good. I work in the same shopping center so I come here often but they still regularly get my orders wrong, especially if it is rapid order. They hardly ever offer me my consultation pastry which the receipt details you get for free if they get your order wrong. (Not that I want or care much but still would be nice to offer. I am especially displeased recently because my drinks have been like warm and served with out ice and my hot foods are coming out cold. I will request and pay extra for extra toppings and they will be forgotten or left off with out explanation or refund at which point I must ask for refund. The most annoying is they will ring me up without taking my rewards card and you get a reward based on how many visits you make and I like my rewards because they are good rewards that I could use at other locations. As a whole not so bad but staff here have been getting snippy with me because of my repeating complaints and I try to be nice but it quite annoying when they get your order wrong every day. read more

I could not believe this was a bellevue restaurant. Granted, it's a chain, but really, it was by far the worst Panera I have been to. The plus, the food was good and my order was correct. The minuses, the counter is staffed by idiots. I ordered a Soba bowl ( not overly generous but quite tasty) and right on the menu, it said 1/2 salad $2.99. I asked for a half Thai chopped chicken and was told I couldn't get a half salad cause the soba was not pArt of the pick two menu. I said it wasn't a pick two, an add on to a full priced item and it was right on the menu. She looked, said "I don't care what it says, you can't get a half salad". WTF? It's right on the menu!!! She asked another girl who said "Yeah, I think you can but I don't know how to ring it". Are you kidding me? This isn't some off menu, secret menu thing ITS RIGHT THERE!! Finally the third person knew how to ring it. Then we went to get a table and what a filthy pig sty it was. The floors were gross with food, crumbs and paper. We got a relatively clean booth (if you didn't look at the floor) but the next diner had to do get someone to clean a table for them. This is mid afternoon so it's not like it was wall to wall people with a line out the door. There were maybe six occupied tables. Will go to jimmy johns across the street next time or Specialties at the mall. If I owned the franchise for this location I would fire the staff. I bet he is losing customers every day. read more

Went there on a Saturday afternoon.The place was full of people sitting and only two tables open which were dirty. I had to search to find someone to wipe a table down. I always come here for the panini. Sometimes the salad or pasta. I don't like the new flatbread though. The food is ok and price is acceptable. But I think they should go back to the old model of having u pick up food from the counter instead of bringing it to your table. They don't have enough people to do all that work in addition to keeping the place clean and remove the dishes/ trash for the trash area.
