Each of them is amazing every time They go out of their way to make sure I get the help I need and understand everything. I have only been there 2x. This was the most mediocre Panera experience I've ever had. I have been to this Panera before and it has always been subpar from the ones I've grown up enjoying, but yesterday was worse enough to have me write this review. First, I would normally order through the kiosk, but there were 2 groups that blocked the 4 total kiosks and took a long time that it was quicker to order through the cashier. The cashier was nice older lady, but she failed to ask what side I wanted with my order. I ended up with the default side of bread for my broccoli cheddar in sourdough bread bowl soup. When my order was ready, I asked if I could have chips instead and the employee serving the soup had a lot of pushback for my request and said it would be an extra $1 -$2. When I clarified that I wanted to replace the side of bread with chips, she threw the chips half-heartedly onto my tray. The soup portions itself were the most disappointing part. For more than $10, I received probably less than 5 spoons of soup. The bread bowl top only had an inch taken off so the rest of the bowl was filled with bread instead of soup. I paid extra to get the bread bowl when I would've received more if I had ordered a small cup or soup. Another confusing thing was that I didn't receive any buzzer to notify me that my order was ready. It seems like there was a server who brought you your food, but I witnessed them serve orders to the wrong table and when it was brought to their attention they took the trays away without saying anything. I remember back when a decent meal at Panera costed less than $10. Now a you-pick-two is over $15. Great service, but the good baguette was ruined by drowning the sandwich in Green Goddess dressing. What a messy sandwich.

I recently ordered to-go from here and I did the pick 2 option. I got a half salad and sandwich. The salad was fine, I got the one with chicken, fruit and poppyseed dressing. I asked for light pecans and there were absolutely no pecans at all in the salad, I thought "maybe this is just a minor item that was overlooked" and went on with my meal. The sandwich wasn't so great.. it was mushy, and looked like someone pressed down on it really hard so all the juices from the tomatoes soaked into the bread. There were also supposed to be red onions in it which were nowhere to be found. My side option was the French baguette, which I have always loved but they forgot to put butter into the bag (at least they gave me knife?). All in all, ehhhh location, I don't expect much from any Panera Bread but this one was pretty disappointing, maybe they were having an off day. This is a great Panera location which has consistently delivered on delicious punctual noms. We order for the office here pretty often and I really appreciate that they are great about having our catering orders out on time and ready to pick up. I had one morning I stopped by to pick up a to go order and our office had confused the time I needed it.. so obviously it wasn't ready. The manager came out and was fantastic with his customer service. In between putting together their other catering orders and taking care of their line of customers, they put together my salad order in only 30 minutes. I really appreciated the hustle because I had a scheduled appointment with another office to deliver those salads and the Panera team saved me from disappointing them. Our meals have always been fresh and delicious and of a consistent quality that I've come to enjoy from the Panera chain. I always get the chicken apple salad which is a good gluten free option. My You Pick 2 meal also came with kettle chips. I loved them, they were perfect (original flavored). Treats - I got a 99 cent treat with the purchase of my meal. I chose the chocolate-chip cookie and it was delicious! Very good! I've also had the frosted brownies here and they are AMAZING (very sugary for the sweet-tooths out there). We've been coming to this particular Panera in downtown Bellevue for a few years on almost a weekly basis. Every time we have had an excellent experience until today. I ordered a bowl (not a cup) and there was at most 2 inches worth of soup in the bowl. I brought it back to the counter and was advised this was a full bowl of soup. I told them I have had this soup dozens of times in the same size bowl and it was filled almost with twice as much than this one. I love Panera, and I have for years. This location is pretty consistent. They almost always get the order right, and if something is missing, they are quick to remedy the situation without issue. It does help being a Panera member, so you can get discounts and coupons and free items. I tend to also buy gift cards when they run bonus card specials. I definitely recommend ordering ahead online. You can customize your order easily and it is ready to go in the cubbyhole pick-up area. I have tried curbside pick-up before, but that never works. I note that I have arrived and then wait, and wait and wait. When I went inside to get it, I saw it sitting on the counter. During Covid, another reason to avoid ordering in person (especially on a holiday, weekend or during the lunch rush) is to avoid the crowds.
