Still my preferred Chik-fil-A location. Dining in is always the best option. Service is friendly and upbeat. Clean lobby with play area for the kids. They do bring your food to your table when dining in which is very nice. Finally no more skimping on sauce. I ask for 4 Buffalo and I use all 4 Buffalo. I always order the number one original meal. Sometimes I upsize the fry and/or drink. I like to order the Buffalo sauce which is my favorite for the fries of course but to also put on my sandwich and it's yummy. We are visiting this area and this is the worst drive through experience we've ever had at a Chuck-fil-a and I felt sorry for the kids who were working outside, there should have been a manager or someone else out here directing traffic because there were 4 lines merging - 3 drive through order lines and one mobile order line. It was not efficient at all and some cars were not letting cars in and taking turns. We live in Tucson and this location should absolutely learn from other locations how to better handle these lines in a more and efficient way. Super disappointed. I placed a takeout order on their app while waiting for new tires at Discount, which is about a block away. The food took about four minutes to make, which is more than reasonable. Spicy deluxe sandwich was tasty and consistent with what I've had before. Waffle fries were a highlight, as always. Frosted lemonade makes a great treat on a hot day. The girl who handed me the bag had a smile on her face, but it just hit me weird. I know they're required to smile continually, but it just felt so unnatural. I wanted to ask her if she was being forced to work against her will. You never know what's happening in a stranger's life when you interact with them, but this was jarring in a way I haven't experienced before. ZERO stars. My friend and I had never eaten at a Chick-fil-A so decided to try it. First off, we pull in and there's a confusing bunch of poles guiding you to 2 people standing in the parking lot. What? No drive thru? We pull up and the girl asks for our order. Um, hello? Where's the menu board? We've never eaten here and don't know what you're offering. The girl says "Oh, um, we should have a menu." (ya think?) She runs over to the guy several yards away from her and gets a menu. We start to look at the menu and she says "Could you pull forward?" (someone pulled in behind us). So we feel rushed to just pick something without getting a chance to even look over the menu. She takes our order, I tap my card (because the girl said there was no way to do 2 checks, one for my order and one for my friend's who wanted to pay cash), and that's that. No receipt, no "go that way to pick up". Nothing. Really? Now what? There's no direction as to where you go to pick up your food. So I drive forward out of the "poles" and then see a drive up board. Ha! There's the drive up menu (no window, just a menu board). I drive past that and wonder where the heck I'm going. Then turn the corner and see a guy standing at a window. He asks for my name. I give it, and he says it should just be a minute. He gives us our bag and a stupid heavy duty drink carrier (really? That was unnecessary). When we park to sit in the car and eat, I discover TWO hairs in my waffle fries! Yuck! (after reading reviews I see this is COMMON at this location. Disgusting). I didn't eat the fries, which were soggy and cold anyway. The sandwich was okay (just their basic chicken sandwich) and nothing special, but their sauce was rather off-putting. A gelatinous goo squeezed out of an unrefrigerated little packet box. My friend wanted to pay her share of the bill and when I looked at the receipt, I noticed they charged 8¢ for WA state's bag scam graft. I don't pay for bags at the grocery store and certainly think it's outrageous to be charged 8¢ for a tiny little paper take out bag. Especially since that useless, heavy duty, wax coated drink container is more of a pollutant than a little paper bag. Okay, so not technically CfA's "fault", but most other fast food places out here DON'T charge us for the stupid bag so CfA is charging where others are not and that IS their customer antagonistic choice. Never eating a this, or any other Chick-fil-A again. The ordering process was stupid, pointless and confusing, there was hair in my food, the sauce looked gross, and we were charged 8¢ for a bag that probably cost them 1/2 a cent (if that). No thanks. This is only the 3rd time I've been here since it opened. This last time was a dark and stormy night. It wasn't too busy but they had these poor kids standing out in the rain taking orders. I tried to get the menu to load up on my phone with no joy. It was making me sign up for their loyalty program. I didn't want to waste my time. But I still needed to order. The girl helping me had to track down a menu because they don't allow you to drive up to the menu speaker to place an order. I finally ordered and pulled up behind one car. My order was given to me as well as the car behind me well before the car in front of us got theirs. No way to get around the car. With this s-show of the process I will not go back. Finally I got to see what all the FIL - a was all about with Chick FIL a. My first visit. I've tried to go a number of times in the past but the lines would always be out the wazoo no matter which one it was or where it was. So I came first thing in the morning for breakfast. How was it? Not bad but pretty overrated. I got a spicy chicken biscuit. A slight kick but not really spicy. I can see why people hold the chicken here in such high regard, it's crispy and cooked like it would be at a stand alone restaurant, not a fast food place. The biscuit however was a let down. The flavor was there, it had sort of a cheesy herb flavor but it fell apart more and more after each bite until it was just crumbs. I imagine their other breakfast biscuits are the same. So while the chicken was great the biscuit fell flat or should I say - - apart. I got the mini chicken bites as well. It's a gimmicky waste of money. The chicken did carry the same quality, but the "rolls" are inconsistently, disorganized buttered pieces of a roll. Sliced up and put around little pieces of chicken. They're doughy and without really any flavor so you definitely need jelly or sauce on them. I'd just skip these. They deceptively charged me almost $12 for the 10 piece. It's not marked on the menu so beware of this. The nuggets are probably better. The staff were alright and the length of time was fine so they're ok here but food wise was, it was disappointing biscuit and gimmicky, high priced food I think I'll settle for the lower key fast food variety. The food is standard for all Chick-fil-A so not really any complaints about that . My problem is that their ordering system is... Bad. I think it's related to where they're located, but it basically ends up being the or four lines of cars trying to order with different servers. You can't view a menu, you just need to know what you want, because you order way before you get to the menu. I've also ordered inside to avoid the drive through merging nonsense, but they have very limited parking and you have to fight with the three to four lines that are there for drive through. They got all my food to me eventually (slow for fast food), but they got my sauces wrong and frankly the sauces are a huge part of my going to Chick-fil-A. This location needs to fix their system. I saw an ad for their new mac & cheese offering and had to try it. I had it along with my Spicy Chicken sandwich combo and really love the new mac & cheese. It was creamy and flavorful for a fast food joint. Fast and friendly service and good food. The inside seating is still closed off due to Covid, which sucks and this place is still not open on Sundays (they lose a star for that reason). Otherwise, everything else was great. Let me start by saying that my wife and now adult kids live this .....stuff. Upon request he nor the others or the "manager " could figure out how to get one for me but then told me there was a problem now.... And sorry! So I just let my wife order the overrated but fine chicken sandwich she normally gets and the manager was brought in to help. He couldn't figure out the problem they were having putting any order through at this point and the whole joint shut down including the other car ordering in tandem. He was then short with me after he called inside and could finally take our order. When I got to the window, there's a young lady standing outside which was totally unnecessary and she asked my name and asked me to pay a second time!!! I was trying to be polite with the wife there and frankly no one cared that I wasn't going to eat. They should be ashamed for such courtesy. We bagged our plans and I went home to cook for myself. The reason for this low review, and heads up to management, it's extremely jarring while eating our meal in the restaurant and being forced to listen to music, Instagram, and other audio noise caused by Chik-fil-A employees playing on their phones. I acknowledge the guy was on his break, but when he is wearing a red Chik-fil-A team shirt and disrupting your customers meal, he is representing the company and sending the clear message Chik-fil-A doesn't really care about their customers experience while dining in the restaurant. They offer perhaps one of the best drive thru experiences you can get in good ole America. Super patient. Super kind. They happen to also staff attractive and well dressed people with great mannerisms. Food is great too. I wanted lunch instead of breakfast even though they didnt serve lunch. So they came up with a solution. 10-15 min wait and I got what I wanted. Talk about solutions. I found this location hard to find the entrance due to all the construction around this location that goes back decades now. My recollection was chicken sandwich I had in their locations in the southern U.S. to be way better where it was hard to see this sandwich much better than a chicken sandwich at Wendy's or Popeye's. I love Chick-fil-A salads! Southwestern Chicken Salad with creamy salsa is my go-to favorite. I give a lot of credit to Chick-fil-A. They put a lot of effort into innovation that sets them apart from most chains. They queue up a line to take your order and pay as you pull up in two separate lines. During COVID times, they offer a touch less service where you can insert your credit card in a reader yourself without them touching your card. They place your food on a tray and have you take it at the pickup window. These all take thought into a business. The employees are super friendly and professional. Speaking of innovation, I had a good laugh seeing a contraption to keep their employees dry during rainy weather while taking your order outside. It was hilarious, but quite inventive. Kudos for thinking outside the box! My one gripe would have to be they forget items at times. One time the forgot the chicken in my salad! The one thing not to forget. Another time, I received no dressing and two pepita packets. These can be something they can improve on.
