Someone commented that the food here smells like dog crap and weirdly enough, I agree. There is something very unpleasant in the lo mein that was not appetizing at all. The food tasted ok, but when you got a whiff of that smell it soured the whole dish. Otherwise, appetizers were ok. I really liked the dumplings and boneless spareribs. Scallion pancakes were good. Did not like the egg roll, tasted a little sour inside. Entrees were not very good. General tsao's was not sweet enough, and the chicken tasted old. Wife did a chef special crispy noodle dish that had way too much fake crab... dominated the flavor of the whole dish. That funky smell was also present. In the end, just not happy at all. The have a varied menue which also includes Japanese cousine like suchi rolls, tariaki steak, and bento box combinations, along with the usual Chinese menue of chow main, Lo main, Bar B Que baby ribs, and fried rice. Disappointed. Since Covid-19, chinese restaurants have basically started closing on Mondays so finding the Panda House open warranted a try. This place is basically the fast food version of fast food chinese food. Nothing was fresh, everything we ordered was warmed up and dished out for quick turnaround. I ordered wings and they were burnt on their surfaces, a tell-tale sign that they were sitting on a heat burner and not recently fried. The rest of the order was all cold as if sitting in a large bucket from where they scoop out portions when orders come in. The worst and fraudulent part is that they are over charging the amount of tax. New Jersey tax has been 6.625% for at least 4 years now NOT 6.875% which is what they are charging to their customers for years!. What amounts to pennies per customer, adds up over time . My work partner and I are Paramedics. As Paramedics, we do not get breaks. We eat whenever we can. So we come in and order at this Chinese place. As we're waiting we get a call. One more minute, one more minute they said I can see that they clearly haven't started making the bubble tea and some food was still missing. There was no sense of urgency to bring us our food even after we let them know we got a call and had to leave. So we tell them that we will be back. Once we get back, our food is just sitting on the counter - even our milk bubble tea. Guess they couldn't put it in the refrigerator. My partner makes a comment about it. There was no apology or offer to remake it. We're told "it's still good" They could have just held off on making it until we got arrived back We did let them know, once 911 is called we can not wait. They chuckled and said Ok. As for the quality of our food - the milk tea was watery, soggy egg roll, and the cold food wasn't appetizing. We probably won't be back. read more

I live locally and whenever we are in the mood for Chinese food I always order from here. I absolutely enjoy their shrimp with black bean sauce. The veggies are chunky so they remain crisp with the sauce on them. Their general chicken tso we order a small and they still pack it up. They do not skimp. Well enjoyed. I love this place. They have moderate pricing and always serve a good amount of food. Delivery is almost always early. Only on holidays like Christmas or New Years Day do they take a while to deliver, but they are like One of Two restaurants open that day so I don't blame them. I am a super picky eater, I change their plates and customize them to my liking and not only do they always do what I ask, they never charge me extra when I always ask for things to be added to my dishes. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with this tiny take out spot. Like all good Jews, we wanted Chinese food on Christmas day. Except because my parent's neighborhood is almost entirely Jewish, the wait at Hunan Gourmet was over an hour. And who waits over an hour for Chinese??? So we drove around and finally decided to stop for some take out. What a delightful surprise! Really good take out! The moo shu beef, kung pao chicken and especially the chicken in garlic sauce were awesome!! I also loved the chicken and corn soup, yummy way to warm up, but very hot when you get it so be careful. This place is absolutely terrible. First of all the food is way overpriced. It cost almost $9 for dumplings that are just fried wontons. The combination platters were over $13 and the portion sizers were horrible and the food tasted like a stomach virus waiting to happen. Since the reviews are old I'm assuming this place went downhill. I usually get my Chinese in Matawan, but I was at Walgreens and decided to go next door. Bad choice. I went in to the place, which looks like your typical Chinese spot. I ordered my favorite dish, General Tso's Shrimp, and decided to try the vegetable dumplings. Again, bad choice. The Gen Tso's had maybe 10 pieces of shrimp and 4 pieces of broccoli and was drenched in sauce that wasn't even Gen Tso's. It turns out this place thinks Sweet & Sour sauce in Gen Tso's. It's not and just because both sauces are red doesn't mean you can just swap it out. I couldn't even finish it it was so gross. I tried the dumplings in hopes that it was just the entree that was bad. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. My dumplings were uncooked. I ended up throwing them out as well. Always one of my go tos for quick and excellent Chinese food. They are a small resto in the heart of Old Bridge. They are a fast food Chinese restaurant with a huge menu and even offer Japanese rolls. They have great food and even better prices for the amount you get. Their seating area is a bit small but I usually order for takeout anyway. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone here for a quick bite. read more

I used to stop by here when NYSC was next door. What a way to ruin your workout by running straight to this place for some chinese food. Anyways, my sister also work next door to this place back in her highschool days so they knew her well and treated her like a family. We always get orange chicken with pork fried rice here. Its delicious here. I also get like 5 fried wings on the side for appetizers. Their chicken and broccoli is not bad. Lo mein is very good too. The place isnt really that big. A few tables to sit in, but I usually just use it while I wait for my take out. The staff are friendly enough. They have a large fridge inside with a few drink choices like snapple. This place used to be our go to Chinese place, but over the past few years the taste, price and overall quality has gone downhill. The fried rice has no taste, as does the lomein noodles. Their prices have triplet and the portion size has been cut in half. They are quick though with service and usually get the orders correct.
