Sushi & Sashimi Lunch Combo
Katrina T.

I got the sushi and sashimi lunch combo! For the price, the food is pretty good. The lunch combo comes with a salad and miso soup which were all pretty big portions. I felt like I just ordered salad tbh with how much they gave, but it was nice and filling so I don't mind. The soup was good because they added real tofu! The sushi itself was yummy. My favorite pieces were the black skin fish, salmon, and squid. I would say the sashimi is better than the sushi though, next time I would just get sashimi because the rice wasn't rly contributing anything. I came during lunch so it was very quiet. The parking is amble but very gravely and odd which is a minus. Overall solid lunch special for around $20

The sushi here is really good, but I like their ramen more. Their tonkatsu ramen has a rich broth with amazing slices of roasted pork. It was really delicious. Wasabi Kaizen also has lots of little Japanese eats. We ended up ordering several of these appetizers to share. The karaage (fried chicken) was really crispy and so were the mentai potatoes. The age tofu and star crab salad was yummy too. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. It's an unexpected place to find good Japanese food so I try to stop here for a meal whenever I'm in the area.

Wagyu beef ramen

We can back again! Ordered the Tonkatsu again! Hubby ordered it with me this time! Again, the broth is outstanding, the pork belly was scrumptious, enoki mushrooms , bamboo shoots etc! There are lots of Ramen noodle places opening up all over the place and I always choose to drive right back here. Tonight, we met the young man named Wally who is one of the owners.!! It's refreshing to see owners come to the table and making sure that you enjoyed the food! We drive all the way from Freehold. What does that tell you

Chicken Teriyaki

Real good authentic Japanese. The waitress was so sweet. She let me have shrimp tempura with no vegetables. I would definitely try this place. We're going back try something else. I like the cherry blossom tree in the center with fishies in the ceiling.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The sushi? Next level. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented -- you can truly taste the quality. The Wasabi Kaizen roll was a standout: perfectly balanced with just the right kick. Service was attentive and friendly, making the whole evening even better. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or just discovering Japanese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back!

Super crispy and the flavor of sauce was amazing. I would go here just for this. Aaannnnd their fried rice has no business being as amazing as it is. I think they have a magician in the kitchen. Sushi was sooooo fresh and the size was great. They didn't skimp on the seafood at all. It was perfectly delicious. Will say the waitress did say we ordered so much and she didn't want us to take left overs because sushi is best enjoyed fresh. lol I think she just wanted to see us again, and we feel the same! Ambiance. Low music playing. Comfortable seats. Decor- little dated but as an 80's kid it felt like home. Not your laser show and DJ kind of venue but it soooo didn't need to be. We came to eat and that is exactly what we did. Enjoy our meal to the fullest. Enjoy and if you check them out please post photos! We want to try all the variety here.

I go all the time and have my usual favorites and have never had a problem. The last time i went in was during the daytime and i was sat where i had a view of the fancy sushi chefs out front chopping sushi. To start off, the place reeked. dont know what was going on but it was awful. Then, one of the sushi chefs must have been sick or something because he was coughing and SNEEZING fully onto the food he was working on without covering his mouth or turning away or anything. He then went on to do this a few more times and wipe his face with the gloves that are supposed to keep the food sanitary. If the chef that is visible to the customers right out front is visibly sneezing into the food thats being sent out and NONE of the other workers care?! then i dont even want to know whats going on in the back kitchen. I work at a little ice cream store and we are 1000% more careful and hygienic than this place and we don't even cook food. Absolutely disgusting. Don't know if I can go back

She got fried ice cream. Dessert options are limited but no more limited than any other hibachi. Our chef was good and made it fun and interactive. Saki blasts, vegetable toss for mouth catching and more. Definitely try Kobe for sushi & hibachi.

We were greeted at the door and were aloud to pick our seat. The ambience is such a cool Asian inspired atmosphere. Mural on the wall, little table top waterfall on the sushi station, bonsai and other nicknacks on the shelves and tv showing peaceful marine life. The menu is very sushi dense, with the whole first 3 pages being sushi. I got the shrimp tempura, dragon roll, and Philly roll with a miso soup. My partner got the green curry, miso soup and white rice. My sushi rolls were so delicious, perfectly fresh, and just so yummy. Shrimp tempura roll 9.0/10 Dragon Roll 8.7/10 Philly Roll 9.1/10 The green curry was different from what we've had in the past, it came out in more of a curry soup. It has baby carrots, onions, chicken, corn, and potatoes. It was my first time trying curry and it was pretty good. 7.8/10 Overall my experience here was nothing but positive. Seemed clean, the wait staff was very attentive, bathroom was clean, service was fast, and atmosphere was cool to look at. Definitely will end up here again, also the price was awful for all the sushi I got. I'd give this place a 9.0/10. Such a cute spot.
