    Ferrero rocher dessert martini

Wow this place is great. No wonder it's so hard to get a reservation! They go all out on presentation...lots of wow factors. But that doesn't mean they skimped on the quality of the food. We all really enjoyed everything we had. I especially liked the Lobster paella risotto, the cauliflower tacos, and the guacamole. The lobster risotto was plentiful with 2 lobster tails. Cocktails are fantastic, lots of great options. I had the El Jefe and I have to say it's one of the best margaritas I've ever had. We really liked the clever Ferrero Rocher dessert martini which was served in a chocolate bunny....drink your martini then eat it! What a perfect dessert drink. Service here was phenomenal. We had a wonderful server who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely come here again Food tips: guacamole, Lobster paella risotto, cauliflower tacos Drink tips: El Jefe, Ferrero Rocher dessert martini

If you want an incredible dining experience, come to Mezcal. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out, everything was outstanding! We were individually greeted and each of our 4 party members had their hand shaken with sincere eye contact. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu, and gave awesome suggestions for food and drinks. She truly enhanced the experience. The food was amazing! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were to die for. A special shout out to the street corn starter - this is a must. The interior was beautifully decorated and the music was at the perfect volume. You could have a conversation without shouting while still hearing the background music. The bar area with fire around the counter was super dope. You could spend a decent amount of money here, but it would be totally worth it. Make sure you get on over here and try it. 10/10

    Halibut, Lobster Paella Risotto

Popped into Mezcal for surprise bday dinner and the staff were so accommodating to our shenanigans. They made this review a 4 stars. We went crazy and ordered family style. We ordered Queso Fundido, Braised Citrus Pork Tacos, Short Rib Tacos, Achiote Fish tacos, Filet Mignon, Halibut, and Lobster Paella Risotto!! Everything was pretty good. My favorites were definitely the queso fundido and the halibut. All the flavors on the halibut dish paired soooo well together. I didn't care for the Risotto or most of the tacos though. Most of the group thought the food wasn't that great for the price and flavors. It was a really expensive dinner but overall felt worth it for the occasion. The vibe inside was fun too. Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

Mezcal is a vibe, as the kids would say. It's buzzing and bustling, and for a minute, I wasn't sure whether I was at Old Bridge, NJ, or a happening Midtown spot. We went in around 8 p.m. without reservations, and the earliest table was available at 9:30 p.m. The bar (it is huge) was full, but we snagged two seats within half an hour. They had Happy Hour on when we went (8-10 on Mondays), which explained the crowd, although it looked like this place was as always busy. We ordered some drinks and bites off the HH menu - the drinks we tried (Margarita and Pistachio Martini were good, albeit a tad too sweet). Their complimentary chips (fried in beef tallow) were a nice touch. The fish (halibut) tacos were great, and esquites were okay, a bit too much dressing for my liking. We only ordered the skirt steak and whipped potatoes for the main course - and this was what really disappointed. The steak (medium rare) was really chewy, and the two of us didn't finish it. I'm not sure we let it sit out too long, but a steak house not getting pricey steak right isn't a good look. We went way past closing time, and our bartender took forever to give us our check, and never came back for it. Another bartender took care of it much later, after many attempts of trying to flag someone down. I understand the long hours and the various tasks that need attending at closing time, but leaving customers unattended for this long felt very frustrating. Overall - amazing ambience, good drinks, promising food, and service that left us wanting - I might try Mezcal again to give them another shot, but this night failed to leave a mark on me.

Where do I start! We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There is parking available behind the restaurant. You walk into this beautiful hallway that leads to the bar. This place is beautiful the aesthetics is outstanding. We were a party of six and our server was amazing explained everything from the drinks to the food items. We started off with a cosmo each and ordered 2 appetizers the guac and the octopus, both were very good. For the main we got the porterhouse and the lobster paella risotto with 4 different sides to share. Had another round of drinks and some green tea shots. They brought a cake and sang happy birthday. Now time for the bill!!!! Granted I did know this place was more of an upscale place and we have done that before. When we opened the check and saw the bill it was over $800 WOW without the tip. All in all I might just come back for the food too expensive to drink here. Good couples spot not for larger groups.

5 star all the way around. The ambiance was a little dark but exciting. The decor was Mexican Catrinas. Very beautiful. We started out with guacamole w/3 salsas. Delicious !!! We also had short rib tacos , also very good. We had the Mexican Cesar . Very different but definitely not disappointing! We both had the 8oz filet mignon with a side of whipped potatoes and asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese ! To die for. Juicy and tender ...cooked to perfection! With all that, I had dessert too! Carmel flan! Chef kiss! The service was over the top. My plate was empty, and it was gone! Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. I hear the happy hour is where it's at. I'll be back for that and get there early, it gets crowed!!

I've been here twice now and everything about it is amazing! The food is always a 10/10. The staff is so kind, and always have a positive attitude. They even help with suggestions based on what you like! The ambiance is great as well, such a picture perfect place. Everything about this restaurant is cool and tasty.

I stopped in for dinner and when I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked into a really nice restaurant! I was greeted and sat. I was served by a great server! I ordered: Spice is Nice Short Rib Tacos Pollo Al Carbon Esquites The food was very tasty and I loved the chicken dish and I also liked the cocktail Spice is Nice! All in all a great experience!

So I went here for my birthday with my best friends. Definitely need reservations. I went on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. I was told mixed reviews before I came . Some loved it and some said it was overpriced. For one- the place is GORGEOUS and has a vibe. I love the decor and the steam coming from the one side of the bar. Service was friendly although they seemed a little overwhelmed but the food and drinks were awesome We had the Spanish octopus and the jumbo crab cakes which were pretty good We had the skirt steak which was pretty good The esquites ( side of Mexican corn off the Cobb) was f'ing amazing . Must have !!!!! We also had the butter whipped mashed potatoes which was pretty good too Drinks - i had the soon to be famous and for the gram and they were both tasty . Loved the presentations

Ambience is beautiful and the decor is great. Staff and service was excellent. Food was good. Octopus was good flavored alittle chewy. Drinks were impressive. My chicken meal was plentiful and very good. Oysters were good but there should be more choice of selection. Dessert was nice. All in all it's a nice place but wasn't overly impressed by the food. Will try again and update if change.

Mezcal was absolutely incredible Both me and my husband enjoyed everything from the moment we walked in drinks food dessert all amazing !

Overall good experience! My fiance and I arrived shortly after happy hour ~4:30 on a Thursday. We were amazed at the aesthetics the minute we walked in. We found a spot by the bar and chose to split the No Bullsh*t drink. It was perfectly smoky and spicy. We chose to have an array of Happy Hour foods like Queso Fundido, Papas, Mexican Caesar and Pork Tacos. The papas were perfectly crispy and we both enjoyed the Caesar salad because it was a large portion. My fiance didn't enjoy the pork tacos as much as they were more sweet and not like your authentic tacos. Fundido was decent but we wish we had chips! Overall good experience and would come back again but it's definitely more pricey.

I've watched this place go up from the ground up, and now that it's finally open (and all over my social media), I had to check it out! I snagged a Sunday reservation right at opening time and wow, wow, wow! The place is absolutely stunning. Every corner is so aesthetic and picture-perfect, and it filled up within minutes. Our waiter, Keilan, was phenomenal from start to finish. He made spot-on recommendations, and honestly, every single dish was incredible, each one somehow topping the last. My bestie and I started with the "No Bullshit" drink (made for two), which comes with a fun little show, and it was delicious! For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For my main, I ordered the skirt steak with mac and cheese and esquites on the side, everything was phenomenal. The steak was tender and juicy, and the sides were just chef's kiss. We couldn't resist a second drink, this time I had the "Soon to Be Famous" which had a fun cup and tasted amazing. My bestie got the soon to be famous which came with a fun presentation. To end on a sweet note, we shared the flan, and OMG, it was thick, rich, and absolutely divine. Overall, 100/10! I'm obsessed with this place and can't wait to come back with my husband, friends, and family.

The pretentious "social club" in title leads those blindly paying almost $20 for a cocktail in the expectation that not only their thirst will be satiated but their hearts as well. For if one is willing and has the means to afford such gifts for themselves, surely they can be persuaded to share their wealth. The attempt to combine a non traditional Italian restaurant with a privileged to enter social club becomes the pinnacle of indigestion as the shared sound system between the two venues is raised to a volume around sunset making it difficult to finish a discussion that started two minutes ago and impossible to start any new meaningful interlude. There is no reason to have music on that louder than the people already are. During our dinner when the music (not soft dinner music) was on people had to talk over it so basically you couldn't have a conversation with someone sitting across from you. When the music was between songs everyone was talking softer and you could have a conversation. Please if you're going to play music during dinner make it soft dinner music not some type of party music. I think I will have to find another place to eat.

The place is just as colorful and decorative inside as it is on the outside. They have different specials everyday and during the weekend they offer brunch specials along with bottomless mimosas. On Mondays they have buy 1 get 1 free margaritas. Happy Hour Monday-Thursday and other specials on all the other weekdays. My husband and I got some cocktails, guacamole, I got the chicken fajitas, and my husband got the birria tacos. I loved my espresso martini as it had a chocolate hint too it which I feel many places don't do anymore. My husband got the peach and mango belinni where the mango flavor was stronger than the peach which I loved because I am a mango fan. My husband wished his taco shells for the birria were a bit harder/crunchier but other than that he loved the flavor. I loved my chicken fajiatas as the chicken was still very tender. It also lasted me another 2 meals after this one. Although this place is a little on the pricier side I feel like you get your moneys worth. Plus the service is good and very fast.

There were 6 of us. The waiter gave us a small basket of chips. I asked if it was possible for another basket. He reluctantly said yes but never brought them. We asked another person and they didn't bring them either. My son wanted a steak quesadilla. The waiter said that the steak in the quesadilla was chili rubbed and the only way to have it plain was to get the up-charged $10 steak. That's absurd! My 3 year old would definitely not want a chili rubbed steak. I ordered chicken quesadillas instead. They were just ok. Nothing special. They didn't come with anything so I ordered rice and beans. I found them to be overpriced and not worth it.
